Digital IO ports on PXI-6025E support material timing?

I need to use digital lines for tasks with calendar clock requiring hardware timing sample.

PXI-6025E has this ability?

If so, each independently configurable port with different sample at the same time clock timings?

If this is not the case, what camera would be a good alternative with configurable ports separately?

The PXI-6259 supports digital hardware timing.  It worked only on port 0 because that's how M-Series are designed.  As long as you have enough digital channels on port 0 for your application, this device should work.  Also, here is an article on how to find the specification that you are curious about.

  • How to read the digital I/o using PXI-7813R?

    Hi guys,.

I'm reading a digital signal by using one of the ports in the PXI-7813R. The 7813R has 5 digital ports or 39 lines for playback of digital data. I have connected a SCB-68 as the physical hardware interface for 'plug-in' a 5V adapter, which will act as my signal at the moment.

After you configure the PXI via MAX, I wrote two codes, one for my host pc and the other to control the FPGA through the host. But I think, I can have more complicated or completely gone in the wrong direction.

Any help in the drafting of these codes would be well appreciaetd.

    Thank you, Anoop

You need the FPGA to sample the signal how often you expect the device to send the data.

If you write your data in the FPGA for the DMA, then on the side PC you just have to read the DMA.  I like to think of the DMA as a queue.  It makes it easier for me to understand how it works.

Can not install traditional DAQ, cause 64-bit OS does not support it.

My guess is that NEITHER-DAQmx 15.1 does not support these cards?

It turns out that the PXI controller was not compatible with the chassis PXI, the local agent of OR made a mistake.

NEITHER replaces the chassis for me now

I need to create a Boolean control moment.

For example, a digital line is set to False. I would like to change to true status for a certain period of time (e.g., 150ms).

    Is this possible with PXI-6251?

    Hello

Yes you can. Set a task in the buffer output as e.g. "digital - end Output.vi.

You can use an external clock, it generates throught counter output or use ananog/output sample clock.

  • The PXI-6547 support WDT file format is

    Please correct if necessary...

The Type of waveform data (WDT) is the only file format in the DJ who is supported by the States of the extended logic of digital signals.

This file format is usable on the SMU-6547 digital IO module?

    Fonzi,

Well, then we are talking the same thing when it comes to States.  The following defines all the digital logic says our materials:

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/370520K-01/HSDIO/flogic_states/

A note in this document indicates the hardware modules that can support all digital States.  The 6541 can always accept the WDT data type, since in your code, it has left to you.  It just does not support certain digital States that it contains.  Because there is no hardware compares, it cannot handle the States to compare.  If the WDT had

You are right, you should use the WDT when you use the extended digital States.  Its documented here:

  • A voltage divider will be enough to read a 28V pulse in NOR-6251 digital input ports?

    Hi all

I am a scientist life sciences that attempts to read a 28V 4.2mA pulse signal sent from my operative box animals in my NOR-6251.

Sounds like a voltage divider should do the job. But I would be aware of anything else that my card OR not to burn? And should I be concerned about the current entry in the map OR?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

Research on page 7 and 8 of the Datasheet of NOR-6251 , it shows that the maximum voltage is 5.25V, so use a voltage divider to make 28V up to 5V and you should have no problem providing you can guarantee your 28V source will always be to 28V or less and your resistances are fairly accurate. Under no circumstances should provide you more 5.25V to the digital input.

The only concern you have on current is that the resistance divider is not affected by the impedance of the digital input which is little likely (datasheet says max 250uA), so if you use resistors around the range of 5 to 50 k, you should be fine. Also, be sure your part of wiring resistance as if she had the wrong way, you will have a great chance to break the map!

    I hope this helps!

  • Various support material National Instruments that are not signed or?

Hi, I want to know if I want to remotely control a Power suply programmable via rs232 with labview, do I have a power suply of OR or can I use any kind?

No, the equipment you use should not be made by NOR.  LabVIEW tolerate anything out there, but you can be on your own for drivers.  Sometimes, someone has programmed your device drivers already.  They are usually displayed in the page drivers.  You can use these programs conduct as the beginning of your code, putting them where you want.

Example; I have a DMM 195 Keithley I want to program for.  I search "Drivers Keithley DMM 195" on ni.com.  I get

    http://sine.NI.com/apps/UTF8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=146

I connect and download the drivers.  It takes really worth of com controls or programming GPIB protocols when you have a base like that.  Older or more social facilities do not have the pilots, in which case, good luck!

Most labview code, at least in the areas of research, is done on the material non - OR.  NOR has given us a highly flexible base to use with a large number of pieces of equipment, that's why we stick with labview and NOR, even if we are unable to use their material.

  • PXI-6527 digital i/o ports does not

    I couldn't get my two PXI-6527 work.

In MAX, my devices are recognized, they pass the self test, and I can set high or low output on a specific port and a line on the PXI-6527 using the test Panel. When I take a measure to that line, say-5,7 to + 5.7 (port 5, line 7), I do not read any voltage. I tried the same thing by using one of the digital outputs LabView examples, without a bit of luck. I tried several different ports and lines on maps two PXI-6527.

When I measure the PIN "GND" to the "+ 5V" pine, I read 5V on my multimeter.

I have several other DAQ with e/s digital equipment on them (PXI-6025E, PXI-6704, PXI-6221), and I managed to create on the digital I/o output voltages.

Y at - it something that I do bring my digital output signals to PXI-6527 maps.

    Hey Jake,

The output of a device 6527 channels are static relays with a LED and two MOSFETS connected together to form a two-way switch. The output channels will not output a TTL 5 V signal without providing an external source. Using the V + 5 of unit 6527 line allows you to use it as a TTL level with power not isolated output device. See sections 3-10, 3-11 6527 user manual as a reference for the above information.
