    Hello
I think that's not the full Errormessage should include a reference to a file, but you have two options:
    1. debugging: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg463009.aspx
and post the results here, so I can take a look at this.

2 disable the cache and the cloak: the funtion are in your BIOS, usually under the CMOS settings.

    Hi JimTrussell,

Try to restore your system to a previous state when everything worked well.

System Restore helps you restore system files from your computer to an earlier point in time. It's a way to undo the system changes to your computer without affecting your personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos.

  • SuperFetch & memory cache

Well first off I understand that unused memory is wasted memory. That said I don't like superfetch because it loads the iso files that I used to burn on a disc every day and obviously I don't need those iso files loaded daily. Having said that I turned off superfetch via services but my memory cache remains high. Anyone know if superfetch is secretly turned on even if it is disabled? I literally only have 20 MB of free ram on a system of 8 GB! And no memory cache is not itself automatically publishes. I can't run more than 1 virtual machine because it tells me that I don't have enough memory. I use only 2 GB of memory right now! The remaining 6 GB are cached. The program with the memory used is firefox and it's only 140 MB. Given that this forum is not allow downloads of images (a feature very lack forum) I included a link to another forum I posted the screenshots of. Thank you.

André where do you hide? Laughing out loud. in any case, my problem is solved. For all those who encounter this problem with vmware make sure that the setting of memory host is set correctly. I got mine to 2 GB and running the two 2008 & vista exceeded this limit. Also be sure to any iso you have vmware loading output.

Should I buy this or not?

Well, if you get the Xeon V3 they are locked to 2133 DDR4 ram. The 5960 X and other chips I7 Haswell E will load any DDR4 speed and are not locked. So you can get the amount of fast ram with the I7 CPU. ECC adds an extra clock for the ECC cycle which is a marginal increase in latency ram. However, the difference between DDR4-2133 and DDR4 2666 is big enough, especially when it comes with 4 +, media. That's why you want unbuffered ram, but need you an I7 using it at a higher speed, 2133. Also there is at least some Xeon boards that used same handle without buffer ram, so maybe it's not an option on this Dell anyway. You certainly want the Quadro K4200 of pit and get a 980GTX card. The Quadros are slower and do not have HDMi 2.0. They generate more heat at this point than the 900 series cards. I would like to ask what PSU is that Dell however since this is a major limitation of upgrade of video and other cards if it is small.

  • Disable virtual memory?

I use Vista 64 bit. The amount of RAM: 6 GB. I think 6 GB is big enough, so I can disable virtual memory? Thanks for reading.

    Hi quantan,

6 GB is a high amount of RAM and should be more than enough for most people.  However, if you happen to use it at the same time having several applications open, a swap file (virtual memory) will help to keep your system from grinding to a halt or the slightest mistake.  The paging file can be customized or removed all together.

In the same place that you set the minimum and maximum page file size, there is a possibility to do not use a.

Note that Microsoft recommends that you do not disable or delete the paging file.

  • How to disable the video cache in Lightroom CC?

    Hello everyone!

I'm trying to import approximately 40 000 which are mainly the images on an external drive, that there is a certain video clips as well.  I have a very small SSD (120G) system, I need to keep everything on the external hard drive.  During the import, I put it on 'Add' and leave all the files in place.  However, half way through the import I received a warning that my system disk is full.  I * think * I narrowed down it to the video caching, but if anyone knows what else LR could be stored on my system disk outside of the application itself, I'd be happy to education.

This brings me to my question: How can I disable all video caching on my system drive? Or, how can I change the location of the external disk caching?  I scoured through and checked the forums online and came up with nothing...  I hope that the experts here can enlighten me!

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Yes, it's the video caching:

Importing video cache Lightroom bug causing large amounts of disk space to use upward, and I'm not import videos!

There is not currently a way to disable in LR, and nor is it interested in your preferred cache size setting.

I created a batch file to delete files. See here:

Try to stay out of my C drive but Lightroom creating large file Caches

Although in your case that might be a problem as external drive to store the images, so it will cache each time that you run an import.

Out of curiosity do you have another external hard drive as backup?

Adobe really needs to do something about it. If a member of the Adobe staff pass, any chance you can give the development team a little nudge in the right direction to these positions?
