• Date and time help for low Vision users

  I'm looking for a way to display the current time, date and day of the week on a computer screen in a really HUGE size.

  A member of my family has low vision, but with the help of the built-in Magnifier Windows 7 and other features of "accessibility", it still manages to use his computer, barely. However, it can read is no longer a clock, watch or calendar. As a result, it can easily lose track of time, date and even the day of the week. It is very disorienting for him.

  What they need is a program that responds to the touch of a button in arising of a display time, date and day of the week in a very large size on its screen. Ideally, the program would temporarily display this information in a large black print on a white background for a few seconds, after which it would disappear until he presses the button to make it appear again. Or it can be assigned to the screen until this that clicked with the mouse.

  I still think that a request to do this kind of thing may already exist, but I've not been able to find. The widget Windows Date and time, and the Gadgets are too small and contain too much information. All we need is a way to show a bare minimum of information:

  Or something like that, but very large. The only required options are a way to specify the size of police and the duration of the display.

• Problem with the registration date and time: only one date is recorded

  I have the following problem:

  I automatically stores the datetime values in a date column "changed_on", whenever a user saves a form.

  Unfortunately, when I show this value in a form or report, only the correct date is shown. Still, the time is 00:00. There is no time in the database value, too.

  

  Whenever a user clicks the save button in my form, the value of "changed_on" is generated by a calculation that returns "sysdate" (see image below).

  I think I tried everything now, but I can't understand how to record the date and time correctly. I already tried the format for the changed_on field mask to my preferred format, but it does nothing (jj. MM YYYY HH24).

  How can I automatically record the date and time?

  You need two things.

  1. put the mask of the P3_CHANGED_ON element to JJ. MM YYYY HH24

  2. change your source of calculation to

  TO_CHAR (sysdate, ' DD.) MM YYYY HH24 ')

  In this way, what holds the element and implicit conversion happens when recording records will match.

  You could always concatenate columns in a 75% and 100% of grouping in a subquery and run external applications, we have developed here against it.

  I have a child who loves the max volume. However, it is not only bad for his ears, he pushes the rest of the family crazy.

  As much as I saw him, he has no control master volume where you can limit the volume - that it JUST for music, leaving the rest of us stranded.

  I tried mental health of volume app, but since it's an app, it can be disabled without a password and so my child understood how close. So that one does not work.

  Anyone know of another way to limit the amount of EVERYTHING?

  I understand that you like to limit the volume on your iPad so that it cannot be increased beyond a certain point. Fortunately Restrictions allows you to set a volume limit that requires an access code to remove. • Recovery software data and the partition for Vista?

  I have a HP desktop computer that started having problems starting. Startup Repair couldn't fix, but showed "no OS installed. I guess it's a corrupted MBR/MBT problem.

  In any case, I made the fatal mistake assuming that Vista has the same functionality of XP restore/recovery and would simply repair the file system not complete format/reinstall. Within two seconds, I realized that it was reformatting the drive and disconnected from the computer (because you can't give up a recovery).

  Now, of course, the player starts not at all and displays "No MBR".  I removed the disk and put it in an external USB box to see the content. It only shows a new Windows and a few other folders with one or two files system in them.

  Anyway, I know that all the old data has been not overwritten in 2 seconds, if it is still there. Not to mention, HP no longer ships of installation disks of Windows and preload in place of the images in a separate partition. I need to recover this option to re - install Vista, in the worst case scenario.

  So, I need/file recovery at least get software partition all my data. There are a hundred apps out there, and it is difficult to tell which are the best (they are quite expensive). I can't find any reputable sites that do an actual test on the Soft full - for example, C/Net only tests the features of the limited demo version.

  At the very least, I would like to recover my lost data on an external drive, then recover if possible, the installation of Vista partition and do a clean install on the disk.

  Are there apps free open source reliable and easy to use? So far, I am considering

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  1. well, this $CURRENT_DATETIME is variable shell, RMAN does not interpret it (she can't and doesn't have to.) HOST calls the external commands by spawning the shell in non-interactive mode and when placing the order for her, and since you have exported the variable is available to all processes having engineered and develop properly, then files are copied in the expected location. If you remove the '; CURRENT_DATETIME export"from your shell script, you will see files copied in/u02/oracle/backup rman / / because the variable will not be in the environment of the layed shell (it will be local to the script) and will expand to the empty string. You must pass $CURRENT_DATETIME to the RMAN script as a variable substitution so that the shell expands it before calling RMAN, like this:

  Note the * & 1 * variable substitution in the RMAN script and * using * keyword in the RMAN command line.

  2. control file record is taken to the same media, that the last backup, this is normal. You can't "CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON the DISC" or something like that, you can only enable or disable it and specify format for various types of devices. Default device type does not play here, you are precisely the configured default device type substitution tape backup.
