Disabled phone blackBerry Smartphones?

The CAPS LOCK would fit very frequently and this morning must have been stuck when I tried to enter my password to unlock my phone.  I kept trying, but eventually I used all my 10 attempts. Now the phone has a white screen and won't do anything, even when I remove and reinstall the battery.  How can I fix this and JAMS to paste the problem?

If you do not get anything, even after a battery pull, you will need to reload your operating system. You can do this with BlackBerry Desktop Software. Once your phone has been recognized by the BDS, click Device > backup and make a backup, and then click Device > Restore and restore that backup on your phone.

I hope that helps you.

  • Less than 24 hours of charge dead phone blackBerry smartphones

Hi I have a blackberry 9300. Three months despite showing a full charge within minutes to make or receive a call or a text, the phone goes dead. I bought a new battery. Arises again the same thing. I don't have I'm aware of other operating outside of the basic ones on my phone that will run without my knowledge. I disabled the blue tooth as well. Please please can someone help, thank you very much

A battery may fail in different ways and have different symptoms, in function. You see one of them.

I figured it was a knockoff and not an OEM battery.   It is OEM, and you bought from a retailer, I would tend to believe that the battery was ok when you guessed it.

As the battery worked for a while, I tend to doubt that there is a problem with the device.

If it were me, I'd get another battery and change my habits.   Top it off when you can and load when you sleep, see what happens.

  • My phone blackBerry smartphones is extremely slow and eat the battery

I have faced this problem for 3 days and went to my service provider today to inquire.

My phone has been extremely slow, the time clock thing is for still running, and so my phone dies in 3 to 4 hours with no real use. I was told that it was because I need to update my OS but when I got home and plugged in it says that my phone is up to date and there is no upgrade available OS. I bought a spare battery to see if it was the problem and it is not. This is getting very frustrating. He even got to the point of when I lock the phone I can't unlock it during the same get the screen to turn on. the only way to start is to pull the battery out and put back.

What is the problem with my phone?

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry will register (on Airtel with prepaid card)

    Hello

I tried to get the BIS enabled on my phone and so far have failed. I searched on the net and do not have anything conclusive.

Basically, I am able to connect to the internet using my camera, but I'm not able to get emails or other data of work services.

During registration (airtel.blackberry.com, my provider is Airtel) I get a message that tells me that the device is not registered with my provider of wireless and asks me to register by going to 'Host Routing Table' of the 'Advanced Options '.

I was able to do, as many times and always without success. Also, I've rebooted several times and no. - GB.

So far, I have also contacted my provider of service several times, they were not able to help. Suggesting a reinstall the BB software, advice, I'm skeptical of.

Another interesting thing is that I am able to use Google Maps and GMail, applications when I activate "APN Settings" in "TCP/IP" and if I disable them I get a message saying that I don't have data services enabled.

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Kind regards

    ShiftingPain.

On your BlackBerry device, go to:

1 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

    Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American carriers - scroll down to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    2. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

  • E-mail account of decoupling of lost phone blackBerry Smartphones

Hi everyone, I need your help. I recently lost my blackberry and I had connected my hotmail account to the phone. Is there a way I can disassociate it now? I myself have retired to the fact that theres nothing I can do on the card memory and messages, etc., but is it possible to link the hotmail account so that he who has the phone has no access to my e-mail account? Please help because it can become a serious security problem for me. The only thing I could think is changing the password for the hotmail account so the phone would not allow the verification of authentication. I don't know if it would work. Worst case I have to disable my hotmail account and I really want to do. All advice would be a great help.

    Very much appreciated.

    -Shiv Kodnani. (Mumbai, India)

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Change your Hotmail password will work... DO IT NOW! Then worry about the rest.

You can connect to your Web of BIS carrier site and remove the e-mail account configuration. Or you can call your operator and ask them to do-, you must call them anyway to report the loss.

On your next BB, consider using a device lock password... that would protect your data against the one who picks up your BB where you lost.

    Good luck!

  • Storage of media file in the memory of the phone blackBerry Smartphones

I'm puzzled. The assumption that the memory of the smartphone (I have an a BB 8310) would store media files for example tunes, or at least some of them, but every time I try and drag a file from the Media Manager in the memory of the device, according to me, a message appears saying that there is not enough disk space. I only just bought the article, so I don't see how this could be possible. Is this a fault on my phone or they can be stored in a multimedia card (which I don't have yet)? Can someone help me with this, sorry I'm not a complete technophobe, it's just that NOWHERE in all the advice I have read it say NOTHING clear on this subject.

If you want to transfer multimedia files to the device, it is recommended that you purchase a microSD for storage of media. According to me, there is a limit of 2.86 MB file size when you transfer media files to the main memory of the device. Also, when you start to store multimedia files in main memory of the device, it eats memory, which can cause problems like the logs of calls and messages deleted to save space.

  • Switch phone blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello...

    I have a Blackberry Curve 9360 and I thought I'd swing at 9380.

I installed Vlingo while it was offered by Blackberry for free. It is passed the period of promo and I was wondering, if I make a telephone switch on Desktop Manager, Vlingo will be transferred to my new phone or is it just left on my old phone? I know I got it for free, but I'm not looking forward to a $19.99 just to have him still to pay.

It is a deal breaker as possible for me.

    Any answer will appreciated.

    Hello

I haven't actually tried a switch of the device with any one of these free apps, but I understand that the 'promo' apps fall into the same category as paid all your apps (and, indeed, all your apps). See this reference:

All your AW got apps are linked through your BB ID. Therefore, if move you your existing BB during a new BB ID, all your apps will come along. Usability of them will depend, of course, on the applications are compatible with the new BB. But 'ownership' of them will stay with the BB ID and pass it along to device to device (up to a maximum of 15 changes to device in a year - the link above is actually outdated, stating only 4 changes are allowed).

    Good luck!

  • My blackberry phone blackBerry Smartphones has been stolen in 2012

my blackberry phone has been stolen since February 2012. I bought a new 1 August 2013 I want user my id of previous phone on my new phone, but it keeps telling me that these id already exists. How can I remove from my stolen device and make use of this id on my new camera.

The line you mentioned "this id already exits" appears on the screen when we try to create the new code. Better to try to connect with your ID and password rather than create a new one.

  • Same problem different phone blackBerry smartphones

I have a 8310 I read of similar problems, but with different models. each time my memory falls to zero, erase my messages, txt, emails, call logs and a few other things. This does not happen very often but when he does his pretty agrivating. usually I add something very large like games, but it happened the day after when I did not add anything other than a few txts and a few phone calls, it will erase everything. NOW, I reallize that happening to me. My supervisor has the same phone and its been more that me... my question is how much memory should be free? should I have more memory than this? right now my phone says

    file free 18,423,920

    total 58,064,896 of the folder

I read in another thread that the 8330 has a clean function of memory in the folder security options. I don't have this option. I'm quite familiar with my phone, but am learning still a few things here and there. I deleted a few programs that I have no use for and it seems right that I should have more memory.

I don't have a lot of ringtones (maybe 7 maximum), has 18 photos on the camera, I have also a memory card of 1 GB everything is stored on.

    Hello

Please tell me if you have a memory card?

    Your memory is low,

You have a lot of third-party applications on your time BB, icall, bbalerts etc?

I don't know your level of experience, so if you know I'm sorry but if please read and let me

not know if this is the case.

Most people close the applications by pressing escape or the red button. This does not close the applications.

Each application has an option CLOSE. For example, if you are in the calendar, press the menu key (spotted) and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and then press close. Go to the menu press browser and options select cache operations clear all categories and reached escape it will say cleaning memory.

Go to options - security - garbage collection - enable. The BB will now clean up the memory when idle for 5 minutes.

you will have an icon on the screen to clean the memory of you make sure you press it. Make sure that you use the button CLOSE whenever you're done with an application.
