Disabled wireless lan adapter. How can I solve it it?

The laptop is a HP EliteBook 8440p running Windows 7 Professional Win7Pro.

The HP Wireless Assistant has the following message: Wireless LAN adapter: this device is disabled in the Device Manager and cannot be activated from Deputy Wirelss.  It can still be disabled.

I checked the Device Manager do not see where to put them on.

There is a blue light on the top of the keyboard and on the front of the laptop.

It is enabled in the bios.

Trying to resintall the driver.

The model of the wireless device # installed is:

Intel model: 622anhmw

SPS: + 572509-001 OB

Any advice on how to proceed?  I hope that to avoid a complete resinstall.

Hello:

At this point, I have no idea except to say, for some reason, the map is dead, and that your laptop is still under warranty, so I would contact HP Support.

Look in the wireless device and see if somehow the radio got turned off.
