Discovers server and firewall security problems

I throw myself to everyone thank you.  After 4 days of trying to get the firewall configured for my security server, still no joy.

Unfortunately, the firewall management is outsourced and I can only ask to put rules in, but have no way to see if they are actually there or whatever it is in conflict.

I put "sniffer" on the Security Server, the connection to the virtual server and the client.

What I see is that the client connects and request the credentials, the credentials are passed to the desktop computer - if I am connected to the desktop computer, I get the hang.  But I get a white screen at the level of the customer and after about 30 seconds, it says it is disconnected.

I can connect to the desktop computer using HTML, but not the full client.  On the "sniffer" I see no traffic on port 4172 on the boxes.  4172 is open for UDP and TCP on the front and backend firewall.

Is there anywhere I can look, newspapers etc. to see what happens or does not happen in this case?  We have opened the ports for MMR and USB - R.  Essentially followed the right document on vmware pubs for security in the DMZ server - but I have some ideas on where to find the next.

I use a Mac client to connect to it... it is anyway seen 5.3, according to me, the last version 5.x.

If someone could give me some advice on where to find other than the firewall, or the sequence of the connection so that I can check with the sniffer which is getting blocked and what is not get thru, I would appreciate it a LOT.

It depends on if you have configured tunnel. Check your settings in SS and CS for tunneling. If you all tunnel then you should see the traffic pass customer <->ss <->cs <->agent otherwise he might go customer <->ss <->agent

    I had this problem too. I looked and looked for a solution without success. But there is a simple solution that I accidentally discovered the problem.

    1. go in Control Panel > administrative tools and run Disk Cleanup
    2 when the disk cleanup is finished to calculate how much space can be freed, click Clean Up system files.
    3 disk Cleanup recalculates and when to ensure that there is a check mark next to the Windows Clean-up update.
    4. click OK (depending on the amount of the Windows Update files to clean it can take some time.)
    5. When this is done, restart your PC/laptop.

    The problem should be solved, at least it was for me, if there is no 100% guarantee.

    In FIREFOX, I'm IMPOSSIBLE read JPG img. < DomainName > despite his img. < DomainName > crossdomain.xml in place

    OK, so what we have done to resolve this;

    1 eliminate root - entry TGV on our well field force redirection to HTTPS

    2. on machines where the HST problem has been cached and cannot be resolved by the Firefox article.

    2.1 uninstall Firefox

    2.2 remove all traces of Firefox - remove C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Mozilla and C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla

    2.3 reinstall Firefox

    Then...

    That sucked.

    We have installed oracle 10g R2 on a Win 2003 server. We have created 3 databases. We have created PWDFILE on windows for each. But in sqlplus, we can connect sys as sysdba with any password (I mean that you need not know the correct password, you can enter any word).

    And we have this setting for all:

  • Microsoft Security Essentials and Firewall error code 0 x 80070424

    I am a user of both Windows XP service pack.  I get the error code 0 x 80070424 every time I try to say Security Essentials to begin to monitor my computer.  I can't throw it as my windows either firewall.  It all started as a result of a virus/malware attack I could clean it with Malwarebytes.  I have was able to restart Windows Updates and went through several updates, the facilities and the re - start, but I still can't get Security Essentials or my firewall running.  I also ran Microsoft Fixit and yet the problem remains.  Help, please!  Thank you!

    Furthermore, I now use a new firewall from sygate and I also did a scan with temporary microsoft virus program and it come clean.

    Method 2
    Error code 0 x 80070424 you describe also means "ERROR_SERVICE_DOES_NOT_EXIST". Windows Update depends on the following two services:

    (1) Windows Update
    (2) background Intelligent Transfer (BIT)

    If it turns out that these services are disabled or missing, you will encounter this error code. Therefore, you will need to ensure that the necessary services are available and running. Here's how:

    a. Click Start, click Run and type "services.msc".

    b. double-click on Background Intelligent Transfer Service.

    c. If the start State lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK.

    d. double-click Windows Update.

    e. If the start State lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK.

    f. double-click workstation.

    g. If the start State lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK.

    h. close the Services window and try to install updates again.

    Method 3
    I suggest you to scan SFC. Scan SFC will be scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    Scam.  They said that my computer was downloading malicious code and therefore transmit signals the error on their server.

    On the Tandberg Web site, there is a page that contains updates for the OS that have been tested for use with the administration server and content server security.  However, the last update was 9/2010.  Is there a comparable download page here on the Cisco site, with versions I hope more up-to-date?  I have looked, but could not find.

    I asked one of the ancient engineers TANDBERG, who is now with Cisco, just on this subject, and he indicated that he had used the Windows Update normak, even for the TCS, feature and if there is a problem, he would just roll back this particular update.

    I did exactly that with our TMS server and have not had a problem yet.

    The second generation servers TCS are not devices and doesn't look anything like first generation servers, so I'll start doing the same thing with the TCS as soon as the remaining 2 were replaced by more recent, industrial research material.

    Cisco had a contract to upgrade in place for some time, maybe even the case, that they are eager to get rid of the old boxes of TANDBERG TCS - well, it's the impression that I myself still.

    I got McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems.   • Set up the RSA only for security server and not internally?

    In the view Configuration > servers > Edit View connection servers > authentication, you can enable the RSA. However, I would like to use RSA for people who connect through the Security Server and not those who log internally.

    Does this mean that my only option is to add another view connection server and point the Security Server on this connection to the server on which I have activate the RSA?

    If so is not necessarily a problem, but it would mean, I have 3 servers of connection and server 1 safety for an environment of view rather small.

    Ideally, I was balancing these aswell which would mean 4 servers connection and 2 security servers. It is perhaps a little exaggerated, heh.

    Anyone know of an alternative solution?

    The way you describe it is the way to do it. The Security server is always associated with a connection to the server, so no way around it.

    Well, officially, you can use the Security Configuration Wizard to lock your server more far. But I saw that it really breaks things. I would just disable services you need (as always) and trust in your firewall. Of course, only open ports on your firewall required specifically by the Security server. Internet: 80 and 443.

    My guess:

    A few weeks ago someone messed with the permissions on your server and made a mistake. So, you got an inappropriate list ACL (Access Control), which is rampant in the file and must be removed or fixed.

" Click on the recommendations for suggested actions... [what I did without success, i.e. update.  «[I uninstalled, stop, rebooted and reinstalled and updated]»

    When I shoot to the top of MSE it says, "protection is enabled, and updated definitions.

    Windows Defender said: "Nothing detected" and "computer running normally."

    Before the uninstall and update, I ran System Mechanic from Iolo, who has done wonders for speed.

    When it comes to antivirus software, you want one and only one installed and running on your computer.  Two or more may come into conflict with eachother and degrade performance.  I advise you to uninstall Windows defender and use soley mse.

    also I strongly suggest that you avoid using "PC optimization" tools.  They can help a little, but they often do more harm than good.
