Disk option

As an educator, I would prefer a disc on the creative cloud downloading. This option is available for teachers?

Note CC Packager is only available for editing teams (Group/volume) and can be used by individual members...

But happy to say that Adobe listened to their users: when necessary because of slow or unreliable Internet connections, customers can now also order Creative Cloud DVD media rather than having to download all the CC apps originally.

  • Are unable to recovery system with a boot disk Options

I think my MBR is corrupted or my drive hard OS is dead.

I created a neosmart.com boot disk and have set the BIOS to boot from the CDROM.  After the POST, the display shows "Windows is loading files".  The Installation of Vista screen should appear and allows me to go click on "Repair my computer", but it doesn't.  It passes to the black screen with green bars of the hunt.  No window of the prompt... nothing. I want to get to the System Recovery Options so that I can run fixmbr and fixboot.  Any suggestions?

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

Read the above link what it should look like when loading, and Options, you should get.

If it does not load at which you can work with it, you have a deeper seated problem you do.

  • Low bandwidth, disk Options?

I am a long time user of Photoshop (since version 3.0 in 1993) and hesitated to go cloud option (latest version of disc was CS5) because here in Alaska internet sucks eggs if you do not live in a metropolitan area. All of the rural area here have little or no internet (same 12 miles outside Fairbanks). So that being said, I signed up for CC yesterday in the hopes that I could get the disks from Adobe, or have direct links that I could download the content to a place with internet better. But so far I have not found these links to CC 2015.5. So I ask if there is a way to send discs to paying customers who have similar problems? If this isn't the case, can provide you some direct download links so that customers who pay like myself can I access content to another location, to copy to a disc to disc/burn thumb to bring to install on your device? I use a Mac at home and a laptop that I can download the content too. I hope that other options are available, or I'll have to cancel my subscription.

    Søren

    As far as I know...

1 - NO disk... later has no link direct http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-no-more-direct-download-links.html

2 - the latest version does not have a direct download, it's a "multichannel" download using a special Downloader

I think you can download older versions from response #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2081216

If this does not work for you, I think you have to cancel

  • Second latitude 3450 disk options

    Hey

I think to buy the new latitude 3450 and I was wondering what are the options I have if I want to add the second drive (ssd). Is there a free plug inside (m.2, mSATA) that would allow me to do this?

    Hello

    Thanks for joining us.

Latitude 3450 and 3550, there is only a slit for the hard drive. However users can opt for different types of hard drives in accordance with requirements.

This model comes with the traditional SATA drives, hybrid hard drives and also 128GB SSD.

    Hope that answers your query.

  • 10.6.8 startup disk System Prefs does not route El Capitan

    I have a mid 2011 13 "MacBook Pro ("MBP").

    It worked 10.6.8

I use SuperDuper to backup bootable external hard drive to the top.

I have the 10.6.8 cloned system and it is bootable from an external Lacie Rugged Triple HD, connected via Firewire.

I installed 10.11.3 on the MBP and it works fine.

I need to boot from the 10.6.8 backup to access some files and that worked fine.

When this 10.6.8 HD is connected via Firewire to the MBP shows up in startup disk options while it is started from 10.11.3

But, now I want to reboot of HD in MBP 10.11.3 can't do running.

When the startup disk is open when running 10.6.8 from the external hard drive the internal drive in the MBP 10.11.3 running does not appear as an option to restart the system.

Y at - there a trick to getting the HD 10.11.3 appears in the startup disk?

If not, if I just stopped the MBP and then remove the external hard drive, the MBP starts its internal HD with 10.11.3, despite the fact that I am not able to select it from the boot disk before you stop? /

Thanks for any help in advance.

This is because in SystemPreferences-> StartupDisk disc is not set how you want to start.

To avoid this kind of situation when the two BONES are connected:

Hold down the Alt (option) key during startup: it will open the "bootmenu": choose the OS disk to use.

Yes, I have the same problem as well. And have requested such assistance. Toshiba does not help this problem. I even paid technical support and they couldn't deal with it. But the only thing I've found works is that if you convert the hard disk to format GPT format, then maybe the laptop detects the hard drive via a usb connection, which you have described.

before PROCEEDING I must warn you that if you do one of these things that YOU back UP THE information PRESENT ON OUR SSD, OKAY.

So try and have access to a command prompt.

You could just hit escape in your keyboard while making a start cold.

Or even boot from a usb thumbdrive image operating system to access the repair options.

Then try to access the command prompt.

Type "diskpart" in command prompt. Then press

Enter "list disk" in command prompt. Then press

Find your hard drive from the list of hard drives. Make sure that you fit the hard drive on the list with the size of the disk ssd.

Once you do this, note the number of the disk.

Once you make a note of it, select this drive by following these steps:
Enter "Select disk (for example" select disk 3 ' would be a good example, but it depends on YOUR disc for your ssd number). " Then press

Enter the command 'convert to GPT", press

You will see a message response to leave the command prompt you stating the conversion process succeeded in TPG.

And if you get a message that it could not be converted, then maybe it's because you have information on him and he needs to be formatted to convert format MBR to GPT format.

ALright. Well he he converted to GPT, and then we continue:

    (1) of type "exit".

    (2) the first step to exit the command prompt.

    (3) restart your computer.

    (4) try to install windows from usb media and ensure that your hard drive is detected in the installation menu.

Note: If you still don't see not your hard drive then convert the hard disk MBR format in the same way that I told you to do it with the conversion to the GPT format. Then you can consider making a virtual hard drive partition on the SSD, as TPG VHD format and simply boot from your usb thumbdrive and access os repair to have access to the cmd prompt to attach the virtual hard disk options.

    type diskpart. Press ENTER.

NOTE make sure your hard drive designated virtual name.

type of the select vdisk file = ------------.

    Type "attach vdisk" press ENTER.

It will spit out an answer saying that you attached with success.

type of flight from the list, and then press enter

find the letter of your thumbdrive os install.

Once you find it, hold that thought in your head.

    Press exit.
type followed by a colon ( press enter)

as in the following line type the word "setup".

You should get a pop-up of the start screen for the installation of your windows operating system. Yes, click on setup. Agree to the terms. Do a custom installation and NOW YOU WILL SEE your virtual hard drive partition and now you could install os windwos on it.

Please note: it worked only with image bootable usb windows 8.1 carrier os and not for windows 7 and it may work for windows 10, but I'm not too sure that it will work because it has not worked for me.

I hope this helps. If you still have problems with detecting the ssd or HDD virtual so I don't know what to tell you. I must warn you that if you do one of these things that YOU back UP THE information PRESENT ON OUR SSD, OKAY.

  • Satellite A500 - HARD drive recovery option is no longer available at the F8 Menu

    Hello, this my phone trees.
I reset my Satellite A500 and due to a power failure reset did not finish. When I have inexplicable with F8 I can see HARD drive recovery option, and then must log on my account that I did not at all because of the power failure.
Then I installed a copy of Vista retail, hoping to create an account and be able to retrieve from the HARD drive.
PROBLEM! : Now I don't see the "Recovery disk" option at all.
QUESTION: There must be a way to integrate this option in the windows Startmenu (F8). Can someone help me with this issue? I burn the DVD recovery and the recovery partition is still there.
    Thanks in advance.

More big mistake made you ve, it's that you don't l l create recovery DVD such as recommended by Toshiba.

Why you didn t ask how it works before you do anything?
You've misunderstood with username and account.

Now, when you use your own installation, you need to remove the option for installation of HARD drive recovery and the recovery image can be installed with recovery only DVDs.
    Now, you have two options:
-to order the new recovery DVDs or
d ' use the clean install of the OS.

What do you think of this?
To be honest, I think you need to use Windows 7 on this laptop.

I recommend you to install Win7. Download page for all the necessary drivers, you can find and download from Toshiba

If you have more questions or need help please let me know.

  • Satellite A200 - recovery disk problems

I just bought the (all new store big tech) Satellite A200 for a few months and not used because I was on business trip to take. This weekend, I opened it up and running for a while.

After that I read the manual and found that I need to create a recovery from the tools provided disk. However, the problem start here:

    1. when I click on "Recovery Disc Creator", a message is display "no HDD Recovery area!, the toshiba Recovery Disc creator cannot be launched."

2 then I call center service support and to inform that there is a problem with the "recovery disk creator" and I have to retrieve the laptop using the hard drive partition recovery (waiting when 0 turning on the system) and the next step is complete:
    a. the laptop's boot in the recovery screen function.
    b. when I try to "restore windows PC" (option 3), it is display and error message on file not found.
    c. when I try to click on "restoring the recovery disk" (option 5), it asks me to put in the recovery disk which I do not have?

NOTE: I'm sure that the hidden recovery partition is therre. 1.46 GB. There is no way that I can access the hidden partition from a normal windows vista screen (without drive letter).

Then, I called the support center again (now what difference person support) and to inform you that:

    1. my recovery partition is corrupted and I need to get the recovery disk again (which I did not), it's going to cost me AUD $66 (I got from HP one and cost me AUD $15 and will be free if I come and Pick-up) for administrative costs. And it is a procedure.

    2. I explain to the support staff that it is brand new in the box laptop and I consider it as defective on arrival (DOA or FOA.

    3. I also ask what causes the problem and has been a consultant with the following reason:
    a. I may have deleted the partition accident (impossible because I still can start on the recovery partition, but can not recovery which all).
    b. There may be a virus infect in my laptop which was remove my recovery file in the hidden partition (ridiculous, you can delete some files in the drive on which you cannot yet access).
    c. I should create a recovery disc when the first time LAPTOP computer service. Which it is recommended, I get a question that if I do not, or I forgot to do so, this means that the software will automatically delete the system restore image file? I have no answer for that.

State (when I try to post this messgae), I'm still waiting for the staffs of complaint call fomr back (very tie when you talk in support of service these days).

NOTE 2: I would like to raise these issues, not because I want something (I do both IT support) complaints but I just want to solve the problem:

    1. is there some sort (software) allow me to access the hidden drive in and out of recovery disc image, my laptop still have the partition.

    2. is there a link I can download image recovery (in iso format) disc again? I've known it is not a question of wise, but when I ask the support staff that can re - install windows vista with the license key from the bottom of the laptop and has advised that it is not work or turn on.

    3. is there someone out there has similar problem

    Hi Thomas

I have a European model A200 (don t know what you model is) and the A200 was NOT equipped with the option of HARD drive recovery! This means that you cannot create your own recovery disk!
My laptop came with the Toshiba Vista recovery DVDs!

Still is it that your 1.46 GB hidden partition is not the Toshiba recovery partition but Vista hidden partition. It contains the WinRE files that are useful for repairing the operating system if something will go wrong!

Second, the Toshiba Recovery folder is too big for the partition of 1.46 GB!
So it is not possible that it would be placed on this s partition!

So finally, it seems that you will not be able to create the own recovery disk and therefore, you have to order it from the ASP in your country.

    Welcome them

  • Can not recover the laptop using the recovery disk

    Hello.

I want to reboot my Toshiba laptop and I inserted the "Recovery" CD and you press F8 and went on the Help menu, and when the list came I clicked on one who said about to restart my PC and lose all the data and then I clicked on "Restart" and rebooted the computer and the drive was in but he just came back as usual.

What should I do? I tried all the other options and they all work as usual.

What should I do? What I have to press something else?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    ~ Confused ~

To be honest after reading your ad, I am more confused you.

Can you please tell us what phone do you have?
F8 and disc into the optical disc drive. Sorry, but something is wrong with that.

Either you can install Vista again using image stored on the HARD disk (option repair my computer of F8) or use facilities Toshiba recovery media. There is no sense to use both at the same time.

    Please you the necessary details.

  • Time Machine see a disk that is no longer connected

I have a MyBook World NAS drive that I use for backups Time Machine.  The unit was called MyBookNAS.  I had trouble with Time Machine, so I deleted the Time Machine backups, deleted the Prefs file, renamed the MyBook-NAS device and change the address MAC of the NAS.

The problem I have is that time machine preferences show the old disk, and it cannot be removed from the Select Disk option.  I click "Select Disk" click on the old name of device, click "Remove disc", click on "Stop using this drive" and yet.  It also lists my last back up from July, even if I had a recent backup device 'new '.

It seems to me that the time machine has somewhere preferences that are corrupted.  When I "enter Time Machine" it can't find the backup of July (logical) but does not even backup 'new '.

Is there another file of parameters of Time Machine that can be removed?  I want to start with Time Machine.  I tried to remove the drive with Time Machine, before the restart, after restart, all combinations.

    Operating system is Yosemite.

    Thank you

You are aware that Apple strongly recommends against the use of NAS drives for Time Machine backups storage?

  • prohibitive gray screen, but the start of the option works

    I have a strange here.

    Early 2011 MBP - OSX 10.10.5.

Everything was fine with the computer, and then all of a sudden the small wheel of death... computer slows down to a stop and then screen black.

At startup - gray screen, blinking prohibitory sign several times and then begins to my second hard drive installed (I replaced the optical drive with a 2nd hard drive just in case something like that happens... more... that uses optical discs still!).

I checked the "Startup disk" options in the preferences, then re-selected my SSD as my default player.

Restart in safe mode... works as expected on the SSD.  Check disk utility, verify and repair permissions, checked the disk and, say, "could not mount the drive" (perhaps something to do with safe mode?).

Restart again normally - prohibitive flashes and then after a few seconds, it starts as normal.  I checked the disk utility again, checked and repaired permissions, disk verified and no problem with the disk on THE.

Stop and try again... lightning prohibitive and then after a few seconds, it starts as normal.  I have reset the SMC and the NVRAM.

Not sure why I get this prohibitive symbol!

I have restart holding 'option', all disks appear (SSD, HDD, recovery), so I click on SSD and it opens fine.

Tips for how to start normally (without the prohibitive sign)?

    Thank you

  • Broad-band spectral scanning ni5660 the disk?

    Hello

I would use the ni5660 to save the (100 MHz) spectrum broadband on the disk.  I understand the limitations of bandwidth in time real (limitation of SDC to 1.25 MHz, 20 MHz bandwidth total possible if dumped first in the amount of memory on-board), but I do not know the limitations of scanning speed (how long can reset the niTuner to a new Central frequency and is there a risk to damage the tuner by sweeping too fast over a long period of time?).  My interest is the 2, 4-2, 5 GHz (ISM band of about).  I would like to imitate the 5660 demo Panel scanning feature, with a backup to disk option and, perhaps, I have Q data instead of amplitude only.  I'll save is worth a day of HD of the PC data.

I'm looking for suggestions and code of y to achieve the highest resolution for adjustment of scan rates given.

    Thank you!

    Hi Chris,

The 5660 OR not is the best equipment to perform this operation. Mainly because the limitation you mention (1.25 MHz DDC). This means that you can enjoy at the maximum rate (64. MECH / s) and then the software will run the SDC operation that could take a long time. Now, there is no need to worry in tunning faster that the material can, the driver will not let you damage the unit and you will be able to get the data you need into pieces. You will then need to concatenate these data.

The pilot DAMA performs this operation automatically but not the NI 5660 driver. Save all the data for a day would take the enormous amount of time and processing power. I recommend watching some of the latest devices with more bandwidth SDC as the NI PXI-5661 and NI PXI 5663 with respectively 20 MHz and 50 MHz of bandwidth SDC.

If you have any other questions or thoughts about this.

    Yardov,

Yes, it's a question of costs.  I have placed a proposal for the 5663, but will not have funding until the summer (or not at all ) and the 5661 would require the purchase of a new chassis SMU anyway.  Thanks for the info on the speed setting!
