  I recently purchased Adobe Premiere elements 12 and installed without problem. I tried to run but he repeated to me that my display drivers are incompatible. My AMD Radeon 6950 has drivers updated and I even tried to delete the BadDriver.txt, but it keeps appearing when I try to open the program. I'd appreciate any help. I almost tried everything.

  Never mind. I went the Catalyst Control Center and looked at my poster and deleted the second screen, that I only have one monitor. That has got to work.

• DVD Menu image is not correctly displayed in first Elements 10.

  When I use the model of "Family heirlooms" and place an image in the drop-down list, the image appears correctly, but when it appears on the burned dvd it's severely cropped. The top photo is of the dvd of the Show menu screen the lower image of the burned dvd. When the image is placed in the drop-down list there are no handles to allow resizing.

  I realize that the bounding box is passed to the outer limit of the menu screen and can actually be used to adjust the image in the drop-down list. Ridicule me.  Thanks to all who helped.

  I downloaded and installed the first elements 12 on a PC running Windows 8.1 64-bit with two pilots and 2 monitors to display.  When I start Premiere Elements and select video editor/new project I get an error message "we have detected an incompatible display driver.  "To get a better reading performance and faster, please update your display driver.  If I click OK, the error message appears again and then I get the bar for about 30 seconds and then nothing happens. I use an Intel onboard display driver for my second monitor and map series AMD 700 r2 for my main screen.

  Is the card display error if you disable the Intel video/graphics card and/or its driver and disconnect the second monitor?

• First Elements 9 requesting an update of driver that has been done, not read video

  I have the first elements 9, which worked perfectly for years, who recently was to give me a box of pop-up message saying that the Intel Series 4 expresschipset display driver needs to be updated.  I went to the Intel site and run their tool of diagnosis of update and update this driver and vefified has been updated.  I restarted the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Prime - it still calls for the update and does not display any video, making it essentially useless.  Any suggestions?  I have only heaviely use the program about once, twice a year... I don't want to be forced to update simply because he behaves badly, please and thank you

  Yes, the BadDrivers.txt file is for Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 running under Windows 7 64-bit when you use the following specific instructions for what you have

  Local disk C

  Program data

  Adobe

  First Elements

  9.0

  and in the folder 9.0 is the BadDrivers.txt file that you delete. Be sure to have the folder Option show hidden files folders and active readers so that you can see the full quoted path. After you open a Premiere Elements project, the program will generate BadDrivers.txt file again and I hope your problem is gone.

• First Elements 9 incorrectly displays "arrested" capture source

  First Elements 9 on an i7 Intel under Windows 7 (64-bit).

  The camera is a Sony High8 recognized as a generic "Microsoft DV camera and VC"

  Yes, I know that it is a 32-bit application running on a 64-bit operating system.

  Sometimes when I capture video, the display changes from "Capture" in "Stopped" but the band is moving, the video continues to play and elements is the video capture.

  It is more of a minor annoyance than a real problem, but I wonder if others have seen this problem and, if so, if they have identified a solution.

  First of all, with Win7, I would check your FireWire driver in hardware > Device Manager > advanced (or similar syntax) and make sure you use the one with 'Legacy' in the name. The regular FW driver that installs with Win7 has created problems for many, and this Legacy driver solved those for most.

  So, did you stop on images dropped verified? It could be that the Capture module stops when it encounters a framework has fallen.

  Also, are these new bands, or were they reused?

• Using ListView with ArrayDataModel displays only the first element in each QVariantMap within the matrix

  I have this QML who have a ListView with datasource to a full ArrayDataModel from the CPP file for creationcompleted, I loop in the table to add the hour together to appear as a label on the page, what works. However, when I want to view these items in the list, it will display only the first element of the QVariantMap within the table, no error on the log of the device. Also, triggered more does not work, but when I click it, it will have a blue border surrounding it, but the onTriggered does not fire.

  ListView determines ItemType of the element by calling the function itemType of the dataModel. By default, an ArrayDataModel returns an empty string for this call (see https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__cascades__arraydatamodel.html).

  This leaves you with a few options:

  (1) If you have no header and all the elements are the same, you can make

  ListItemComponent {
       type: ""
       ...
  

  (2) If you have headers or different elements, you can extend ArrayDataModel and implement your own function of itemType

  (3) you can define a function of ItemType on your ListView in QML. Documentation:

  ListView called DataModel::itemType() for each item in order to know the type. QML, this can be overridden by declaring the itemType function (data, row) on the ListView element. ListView then call this function instead of the function DataModel.

  Here's how to create a list in QML which creates a header for all items on the high level and aStandardListItem for each item below the top level:

• Video_TS folder missing after burning on a hard drive by using first elements 13

  I experienced some problems when you try to create a DVD from a film using first elements 13 project. After reading many past debates, I thought I had solved some, only to meet new problems. As follows:

  I was initially unable to burn a DVD from the film project, receives the message that burning DVDs has been "broken". This occurred during the encoding process that I believe, not in the real DVD writing, because it was early enough in the process. After reading the forums, I copied the project using the project archiver, to an external hard drive, since the internal drive was complete after subsequent attempts to burn (another problem). I moved all the video files off the internal drive to a backup, so there are currently 164 GB of free space. The project is on an external drive, as noted, with 1.42 free to. The size of the copied project folder is 100 GB. With the publication software + hand, I tried to burn to disk in a folder, in case there was a problem with the disc burner (conflicts w/3rd party software, etc., as stated in other discussions). The process still had to run at night, when checked, in the morning, there was a message that the burn has been completed. While they inspected the file where the Video_TS folder should have been (on the external hard drive), none were present. No where can I find the files. I then tried to burn on a DVD instead, but early in the process, got the message that the burn was "interrupted." again.

  As a side note, the adjustment disk feature that automatically compresses the video to the right size to fit in a 8.5 GB file or double layer DVD (which I use) repeatedly gave a message of low disk space. If I manually updated slightly higher compression, it would proceed with the burning. Strangely, after the Video_TS folder and the subsequent failed DVD burn, I tried another burn to DVD. In this case automatic compression does not result in the message of the lack of space and has helped with the burning to proceed, however, given the multitude of failures to date, I am not convinced that it will be successful.

  So my question is, what happened in the folder Video_TS should have been created (and a. According to the first to)? In addition, what is the problem and how to 'fix', or work around?

  Suggestions and ideas appreciated.

  First, go to the preferences (under Edit menu) and uncheck the hardware acceleration. This usually fixes this problem.

  Make sure that you save your files from the DVD to a folder on the directory in which there is no other files.

• I have a disc for photoshop elements 13 and 13 items first.  My laptop doesn't have a hard drive, so I downloaded first elements of your site using my serial number but I can't the same thing with photoshop elements.
