  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
  • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite L850-1j9, (PSKG8E-02D00KCE), in collaboration with i7-3630QM and an AMD Radeon HD M 7670.

  The first time that I was using Win 10. I did the update to win 10 about a month ago and everything was ok until 4 days ago. I was working with my laptop with an external screen connected by HDMI and all of a sudden the screen started to Flash some green lines with a black background (something like you can see in the video).

  I saw on the internet that some people have problems making the update to wion10, I have installed new Windows 8 to see if has something related to win10 but the problem persists.

  I tried to install the intel CPU, a graphics 4000HD Intel GPU, but may not use it as a main GPU. I had this problem: "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

  I have a Satellite 2450-201. Very often when the system comes back to hibernate the system will not reboot, it gets stuck after the opening logo.   Are you using the original Toshiba pre-installed Windows or your own version?
  Display driver original included in the original recovery image is tested, so you shouldn't have trouble with basic stuff like flash video playback.

  Since when did you notice this problem? Can you give us an example when this happens?
  You have installed updates?
  To be honest, I can't imagine that this issue is on the first day of use.

  Please note that other graphics drivers (not Toshiba page) can be used and installed only at your own risk and there is no guarantee that these drivers work correctly!

  Looks like you've ruined the whole OS. Perhaps the installation of the graphics driver for the Toshiba page will help you. If this isn't the case,->, try to reinstall the entire operating system since the Toshiba Recovery CD!
  The drivers on the CD are tested and should work properly!

  Did you run HP Support Assistant to facilitate updates of HP?

  You did all your Windows updates?

  Here is a link to Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool that can help to find additional drivers.   Although it lists Windows 7 it does not work in Windows 10.

  Once launched, it should show a screen like this.

  

  Use the second "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" option, this should lead to an update of strength of the 'Windows updates' which cannot be automatically applied c ELA could fix some of these issues.

  3 weeks ago, my laptop screen started to stay black. If I waited a few minutes he blinked white and after that, he remained white. A google search resulted that the display cable may be damaged. I changed the cable and it worked a few days. Now, I have the same problem again. The dark thing is that, if I unplug the display cable to the graphics card (under keyboard) and reconnect it again, this works very well, but I think this isn't the best solution.   I updated the drivers directly from Nvidia, as I have the Geforce GT 330 M, it ceased to display the error message, but the screen is still blank. Anyone has any ideas how to solve this problem?

  Also, a small separate question, sometimes my laptop will automatically resume after hibernation (I don't use mode 'sleep') when I open the cover, without pressing the power button.   With regard to the problem of black screen.
  You used the nVidia driver that it is not advisable due to the missing overheating protection. You must use the driver from Toshiba page.
  Please also check if the BIOS is updated.
  If the BIOS newer is available, please update that I read in some discussions that might contribute to solve these problems

  Regarding automatically resumed from hibernation.
  You must check in the BIOS if the Wake up on LAN and wake on keyboard options are disabled. If both or one is turned on, then off, save the changes in the BIOS and reboot the device
