T9000 - display cable problem?

Hello

3 weeks ago, my laptop screen started to stay black. If I waited a few minutes he blinked white and after that, he remained white. A google search resulted that the display cable may be damaged. I changed the cable and it worked a few days. Now, I have the same problem again. The dark thing is that, if I unplug the display cable to the graphics card (under keyboard) and reconnect it again, this works very well, but I think this isn't the best solution. Has anyone ever experienced this kind of problems, or any expert Toshiba does know something about this?

sincerely
Hans

Hi Hans

You will be very happy if someone has enough experience with this problem. I put t know how much you are familiar with the hardware components on laptops but just detailed survey can give you answers.

Before you wait here I recommend you to make a call to the service partner. Explain the problem, perhaps they will be so with kindness and give you some useful tips.

Good luck!

MY Apple Watch more than four hours shut off and on screen display to show green with the charger cable

    and I can't turn on

    What should you do?

    Hello

When you reload your watch, check that:

    • All the plastic film was removed from both ends and both sides of the cable support (consult closely on the head of the charger).

    • On the back of your watch and the head of the charge cable are clean and dry (clean with a lint cloth and try again).
    • The Chief charge is directly aligned with the back of the watch, with the curved side touch fully (some stands watch may hinder this).
    • You use only the genuine magnetic Apple Charging Cable.
    • If you reload your watch by plugging into a power outlet, try using different maps of the following:
      • The real Apple USB Power Adapter that came with the watch, or;
      • A true 5W Apple (iPhone) or 12W (iPad) USB power adapter, or;
      • Power adapter certified by Apple (MFi) third 5W or module of magnetic charge.
    • If loading via USB, make sure you use a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, the computer remains turned on and awake, and the cable is plugged directly into the computer (not on, for example, an external keyboard).
    • In normal operation, the load should take up to 2.5 hours.

    More information:

Check your battery and load your Apple Watch - Apple Support

After leaving time for your watch load, try removing the charger and restart or if it does not help, force its restart:

-Restart: press and hold the side button until you see the cursor off the power, then drag to turn off (wait until it does), then hold down the side button until you see the logo.

-Force the reboot: hold down the side button and the digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, until you see the logo.

If you still have problems, contact the Apple Support (mail service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation in order to have your watch and/or verified under guarantee of power accessories:

  • Display Z470 problems

Hi I have an Ideapad Z470 weeks and started doing a few scratches on the screen as interference, to only when it was used with the battery, but is now both plugged in or on battery use. It's worse when I move the screen, the screen become white with color bars, I guess it has to do some flex or something. I hope you can help me. Thank you

    Welcome to the forum!

If the display is corrupted on physically move the laptop or the screen, then it will be a problem of water. The best way to test this is by observing the display in the BIOS and also by connecting an external monitor (such as a TV, VGA monitor, projector).

If the same question is seen in the BIOS and external display works fine, then it will confirm a problem with the screen of the computer (mainly the flex cable)

    It will be useful.

    Hi SDF15,

Sorry I'm a little late getting back to my answer.  I tried to remove and reseating the connections screen, but had no luck.  Try a few other things, I noticed that when I applied pressure on each side of the switch and moved the display cover in both directions, the problem did not happen.  I ordered a new one from the power button and installed and which corrects the problem.  Search the old of the power button, I noticed that the ribbon cable that attached to it was loose and perhaps has not been in contact with the power button.

  • display clone problem / dual

Hi, I am using a t61 (7661wbl) on vista 32 professional. The problem I have is output to a monitor position through the vga port. It worked fine so I did some updates through the update of Lenovo and installed the latest optional updates, and since then, is to recognize that there is a hanging monitor but just do not display on my TV. It is not the TV because I have a desktop that displays well on using the same cable that I have always used. For some reason sys restore is to let me restore before the updates despite showing the restore point before the updates. I rang the line of Lenovo and their advice has been re install the o/s! Don't want to do that atm. Despite some knowledge that I fight. I tried to roll back the driver to the display without result too.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • Display refresh problem: Pixellations

Pixelation occurs only in Firefox. I tried to plug in computer screens and other screens, LOC and the problem is that the same no matter what screen is hung. It only happens with Firefox and not other browsers or other programs on my computer, including the desktop. Because I can't post a screenshot, I will try to describe what I see. The header sidebars and Firefox display a master random gray squares that hide the text as the text menu, but not white address bars. If I move my mouse over the gray block, it refreshes and correctly display the menu icons and text. The passage of the mouse refreshes the text and icons, but not the background of the menu headers or the sidebar. They remain cut upwards with random blocks of color opaque dark squares, rectangles and the combinations of these sizes.

    Hello

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

    Hello

I have a Tecra R850 with the ATI HD 6450 M and every now and again it crashes and BSOD appears.
I have observed that mainly happens when playing flash videos.
After reviewing the events system, I discovered that there is a problem with the display adapter driver.

The said event system is perhaps a solution [here: http://wer.microsoft.com/Responses/Response.aspx/21682/en/5.1.2600.0.00000000.9.9?SGD=13feb1cd-4c8b-4c3a-aeee-ca4ca2c99729]

    Thank you
    Jose.

    Hi Jose

Are you using the original Toshiba pre-installed Windows or your own version?
Display driver original included in the original recovery image is tested, so you shouldn't have trouble with basic stuff like flash video playback.

Since when did you notice this problem? Can you give us an example when this happens?
    You have installed updates?
To be honest, I can't imagine that this issue is on the first day of use.

Maybe you used a bad driver?  :| Why you n t use the driver graphic European Toshiba page!

Please note that other graphics drivers (not Toshiba page) can be used and installed only at your own risk and there is no guarantee that these drivers work correctly!

Looks like you've ruined the whole OS. Perhaps the installation of the graphics driver for the Toshiba page will help you. If this isn't the case,->, try to reinstall the entire operating system since the Toshiba Recovery CD!
The drivers on the CD are tested and should work properly!

I have also this problem such as a freezing of the computer and the notification "driver Nvidia has stopped working". ". It's because of the display driver and we can nothing but just wait when Toshiba will broadcast a new, improved driver.
That it was a dead pixel, you can read about it here

    Hi @Dentist_9251,

    Thank you for your query.

I understand that when to play your screen will become suddenly blue and your computer restarts.   Continually, you get a message that the display driver stopped responding and was recovered.

Did you run HP Support Assistant to facilitate updates of HP?

You did all your Windows updates?

Here is a link to Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool that can help to find additional drivers.   Although it lists Windows 7 it does not work in Windows 10.

Once launched, it should show a screen like this.

Use the second "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" option, this should lead to an update of strength of the 'Windows updates' which cannot be automatically applied c ELA could fix some of these issues.

Have you ran the Windows troubleshooting tool?
