DMP - 4310G

I need advice, I'm new to the digital media player and my company bought a DMP - 4310G I am able to connect

and assign a number of static IP, but how in the world can you video game? I have not a DMM BTW is a DMM a piece

is this software or hardware?

Thanks for any help you can provide

Hey Joe,

A DMM is not absolutely required, but it is very recommended if you plan to create your own presentations or use the DMP several at the same time. The multimeter itsels is a software, but it can only work on some special hardware. You can see the full compatibility to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/video/digital_media_systems/dmscompat3.html#wp1089548 matrix

How to use a standalone DMP to play the content, you have all the information you need to

http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/video/digital_media_systems/5_x/5_1/DMP/user/guide/DMPDMcfg.html#wp1053851

I hope this helps

  • How to create content for my DMP - 4310G

    Hi all

I am very new to my Cisco DMP - 4310g. I'm looking for some quick knowledge about how to get the content created and sent to play on my DMP.

When looking for a player of signage, that I fell on the DMP - 4310g, reading the Cisco's Web site that explains the units looks like what I was looking for, but I was a little confused on how to get this operational thing. I contacted my dealer which I explained then to them that I wanted a player signaling that I could put in my reception area for visitors. I wanted something I could show images of society events, tickers for the news and maybe live TV streaming if possible. My dealer told me it's the unit, I needed. They said that I need the player DMP - 4310G and the DMP-4310-SW52-K9 software license (which allows me to create content?).

Cisco's Web site was not exactly clear on how to create and publish content on these units, but I assumed that the license of the software they sent me was for the designer of digital media software. So, as you can see I'm stuck. I have the player and a software license (at least that is what it says on my packing slip), but how do I access the software Desginer? I can't find anywhere on the Cisco site to get it. How can I create content to display on the player?

Help, please. I'm so confused. I have these two things, but where do I go from here?

    Thank you

    Steve

Sounds like your dealer was not familiar with the solution. You can read the content on the DMP-4310 without the rest of the very, but it's a very manual process. The correct way to use the reader is to add the rest of the solution (Digital Media Manager, sign a license and licenses of DMP functionality). The design tool is part of the Digital Media Manager.

You can also see the arms industry. They write software specifically for the 4310 DMP who will make content creation and management of small deployments as you have.

I'd be happy to help you if you need help.

  • DMP - 4310G no Audio

Maybe someone can help me with this... I have a DMP V5.3 - 4310g connected via HDMI to an E422 NEC LCD screen that works very well with our telepresence equipment, the DPM can play the video but there is no sound. I tested with SWF, AVI, WMV... I'm I missed something?

    Thanks for any help

    Hey Joe,

Have you tried to check the volume of the Audio DMP channel in "DMP display attributes" in the DMP Device Manager:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/video/digital_media_systems/DMP/user/guide/5_x/5_2_x/display.html#wp1160137

Also, be aware that the audio Flash is not supported on the DMP.

    Kind regards

  • SWL with ActionScript 2 files using

    Hello

Hopfully this will get not too stifling... I have a cisco DMP - 4310g can locally use flash files on the device that I am tring to find out what kind of SWF files can be used. Here is a link to help... Please refer to the part of shockwave http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/video/digital_media_systems/5_x/5_2/dmd/user/guide/playlis ts.pdf

It is said in the document of the device do not support the 3 ActionScript ActionScript 2 only. Which make me to my next question how I need to create SWF files, this unit can play. I'm not too savy with the creation of the files and the thought that I would ask couse I know too that I know what I need to create them.

    Thanks in advance

The info you mentioned responds to your request... you can only use SWFs that use Actionscript 2.  You can use any version of plu Flash from Flash MX to do.  Prior to this version (inclusive), there was no AS2.

  • Is there a way to get the list of open URL of file (.dmp) incident, mdmp [NOT BE]

    Hello

My Firefox session crashed, which was little in private meetings. I have the mdmp (.dmp file) dump file saved. Is there anyway that I can get the list of URLS open in private in windows.

If so, how to read the file OR open it for debugging.

    Kind regards
    bnrsubs

All data are kept in memory during the session in incognito mode and will never be saved on the hard disk, so these data are available for normal use and things like restore closed tabs and windows and cookies still function as in a normal session, but this data is deleted from all the private browsing mode Windows Open (tabs) are closed.

  • Is it safe to delete the .dmp files in the program directory?

I found a big enough .dmp file in my Firefox installation directory:
    c:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox\core.20130617.XXXXXX.XXXXX.XXXX.dmp
It seems that the main file is labeled with a date stamp; the "X" are other digital numbers by hiding I am those out because I'm not sure they're relevant. Is it safe to remove this? Note that this file does not appear in topic: down.

Delete it and restart the computer, make sure that firefox is not open as windows usually makes those when you get BSOD.

.dmp files are memory dumps when you have a blue screen. You can consult with Nirsoft BlueScreenVIew or WhoCrashed. You can look at them yourself, but you should zip, upload to the sky by car or elsewhere and let someone take a look at them here.

  • That means the closing blue screen problem down in WinXP? DMP attached.

Received the blue screen error and need help to interpret .dmp file. Having read the advice here and don't understand the error.

The dump file suggests that Hitman Pro is the culprit.  They just released a new version last week.

Here's what the dump file has to say:

    ==================================================
    Dump file: Mini100311 - 01.dmp
    Crash time: 03/10/2011 15:38:19
    Bug Check String: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    Parameter 2: 0x806048f9
    Parameter 3: 0xa6d6baf0
    Parameter 4: 0x00000000
    Caused by the driver: hitmanpro35.sys
    Caused by the address: hitmanpro35.sys + 1ab5
    Description of the file:

    Company:
    Version of the file:

    Computer name:
    Full path: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini100311-01.dmp
    Number of processors: 1
    Main version: 15
    Minor Version: 2600
Size of the dump file: 65 536
    ==================================================

You only install only recently?  You can uninstall, reboot and see what things look like.  If things look better without it, you can be sure that you use the latest version.

I used BlueScreenView to interpret the dump file and so you can next time.

    Download BlueScreenView here:
Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files.
If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).
BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.
Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files.  Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).
Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt.

Open BSOD.txt with a text editor, copy the text and paste it in your next reply.

You can always put stuff on your SkyDrive of course if you need another set of eyeballs - BSV is not perfect - sometimes you have to dig deep with the windows debugging tools.

  • Accidentally deleted C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP

using antivirus software to remove the malware file c:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP has been removed.  What is a key file?  If so, can I get it back?  I have windows vista.  a system files will get the file back, and if so the malware will still be in it?

    Hello Zimmied,

The Memory.DMP file is used for the purpose of debugging.  It is created when you have a failure of the system.  If your system crashes again, it can be used as a tool to analyze what the problem was.

If you want the file back and if you have Vista Ultimate, you can navigate to the Windows folder, right-click and use the option restore a previous Version.

  • The file c:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP was removed, what will happen without it?

Using antivirus software to remove the malware file c:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP has been removed.  If for any reason, the system crashes, the system will create a new c:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP file? If this is not what would happen without the said file? To what extent it is essential to restore the said file?

However, there is no sequel. Memory dumps are created to help users to discover the cause of a system failure. If the problem oersist the system will create futher landfills.

CCleaner and disk cleanup can be set to remove the dump files. Maybe it's what happened.
