Do not print documents

Hi, my problem is when documents are sent to print, the printer sees the document in the queue, but it does not print. It seems to me there is a problem of communication between the pc and the printer or responses please! I have windows OS 7 Professional and the printer is a HP Deskjet 1220C, Asrock N68C printer (no parallel port) connecting directly to a parallel port mounted on the main card. I hope someone can help because I do not want to invest in another printer and the problem is becoming 'do my Fruit' thank you...

USB/PARALLEL connectors are problomatic, if it's a PC desktop purchase a parallel PCI card, well in your first post said you that you use a card.

    Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1: Disable Antivirus

    If you have installed any third party such as antivirus or firewall security software, I would say you temporarily disable and check if it works.

    Disable the anti-virus software

     

    Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.

    Method 2: Update the drivers for your printer.

    Method 3: Restart the print spooler service.

    You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.
    a. open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type administrative tools, and then click Administrative Tools.
    b. double-click on Services.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    c. right-click the print spooler service and then click Properties.
    d. on the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.
    e. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation,
    type the password or provide confirmation.

    If nothing works, then manually add the printer to the local port and check.

    Method 4: Manually add the printer to the local port.

    a. go to control panel and click on devices and printers.
    b. click Add a printer, and then select Add a local printer. Click on create a new port. The default value in the drop-down list is Local Port. Don't change that.
    c. click Next.
    A dialog box appears for you request that you enter a port name. Type the name of \\computer name\printer.
    d. type your user name and the name of the printer (name \\PC\printer)
    e. click ok and exit.

    Last updated, at 01:10, estimated the printer works now. I installed the new print head, and as a first step, I have no positive results. Then I tried the printer alignment... that did the trick. The printer works now.

    Now, I wonder if it was the culprit with the old print head (alignment) maybe it's always good. I'll hold on, events, if necessary. Thanks for your help and mucho laurels.

    The version of MS Office is not the problem it's the corruption on the computer. I recommend that you uninstall and reinstall MS Office and ensure that the updates of Windows are updated.

  • All-in-one printer will not print documents.

    I tried to print documents from my printer on a computer with XP operating system and transplanted paper and went out in white. I put the printer on my other computer with a 8.1 operating system and get the same results. I ran the printing and scanning doctor and checked the difficulty of printing. He tells me everything retrieves and prints a test page is not due to a lack of ink, I thought that could be the cause as my ink is low. Individual items on difficulty printing do not run through one at a time, they appeared all at once, and the bar for what is printing is full until the printer starts to feed paper.

    He would make copies either, so I change the ink cartridges and now it prints. I still don't understand why it would print a test page with ink, but not anything else.

    I have a new HP 2540 series inkjet, I setup for wireless printing and do not print on all documents, reserved example a flight online today and wanted to print docs 4 4 pages it will only print two pages, then an error message appears top right of the screen of the laptop, unfortunately, the error message disappears and is not there long enough to read or write.

    I see that you have problems printing.  I would like to help!

    If you make a copy of multi page, you have any questions?

    I recommend you to remove the printer ink cartridges and perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

    I recommend also to download and run the HP print and Scan doctor.

    1. are you referring to MS Office documents?
    2 are you able to print the text on the document?

    Try these steps and check the result.
    a. in Windows, click Start and then click Help and Support.
    (b) in the search box, type the Windows Printing Troubleshooter, and click the arrow to start the search.
    c. in the suggested topics box, click list of troubleshooting services and then select print in the list.
    d. follow the instructions in the Printing Troubleshooter, and check if the problem persists.

    My printer does not print what I scanned. It will print other documents so I know I'm connected, but whenever I try to print something scanned and then it stops responding. I tried my mac - min and rom my ipad and none worked.

    Did you download and install the drivers for the printer, or you use the Apple drivers?

    Check the name of the driver that is installed by the printer. Make sure that it shows just the name of the printer.
    Click on the Apple menu, click System Preferences. Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen it should show the name of the printer. (Deskjet 2542)

    If the full name of the printer is not correctly, delete and add the printer name back from the list. Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver might have to drop-down list to select the name of the printer to add a click.

    Let me know how the name of the printer is listed. Your home to fix a screen shot if you wish. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

    What scanning software is you using and what format are saved scans as?

    If you save them in PDF format and using Adobe Reader to open, try the following:

    In the print dialog, press the Advanced button and select print as Image.

    Try to print again.

    I have a wireless HP Photosmart C4795 printer and a Windows 7 operating system.  I had put in place for several months and was working fine and then suddenly it will only print blank pages when I try to print processing of Microsoft Works documents or any other program.  When I try to print a printer Test Page every print, is the emblem of Windows and the words of Windows printer Test Page.  Help, please!  Thank you.

    Method 1.
    Then, try the printer troubleshooter, which will attempt to diagnose and solve your problem automatically.
    Here's how:
    a. open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button picture of the Start button, click Control Panel.
    (b) in the search box, type troubleshooting and then click Troubleshooting. Under hardware and sound, click on use printer.
     
    Method 2.
    Clear printer spooler files and activate the spooler service
    Stage I.
    a. Click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the Open box and click OK.
    b. double click on "Printer Spooler" in the Services list.
    c. click on stop, and then click OK.
    d. Click Start, type "% WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" in the opened window and delete all the files in this folder.
     
    Step B
    You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

  • Printer does not print document

    (1) I have Win7 and the test page and the diagnosis of my Officejet 4620 page print OK.  But when I want a document on my computer to print on the copy of 4620 Officejet 1, blank paper will spell white paper. Then I get a message on the printer that is printing of document.  I have read the help file and made sure that I have the correct printer selected.  Only the variation is when I press OK, bar indicates 50% of the document sent to green printing.  How can I get this printer to print documents rather than be a great paperweight?

    (2) in scanning on my old PSC 1610, I could specify that the scans were recorded in a monthly subfolder in E:.  The 4620 scans are grouped into C:.  How can I specify the rescue in a monthly subfolder in E:?

    As a result of my first posting here, I contacted HP support and they have reinstalled the 4620 drivers again.  Unfortunately, it was still impossible to print off the internet, even if a Word document did print.  She suggested that there not be a browser problem.  I was printing using FF as my browser.  When I tried to print the internet document in Internet Explorer, it is printed.

    I understand that you have a HP Photosmart 7510 e-all-in-one which you connect wireless to your PC in Windows 8, but when you try to use Airprint to print from an Apple device it says "no printer found AirPrint". I would like to help with that.

    The main condition for Airprint printing is that the Apple device and the printer are on the same network, and the Web Services and ePrint must be on.

    New computer will not print in Quicken 2008 software.  Tried all the possible solutions. I installed Windows 7.  I downloaded and installed the new software for HP Office Pro 8500 work with Windows 7.  Software program Quicken 2008 order printing accordingly.  All other software programs prints perfectly. Help!  I get no support Quicken's help.

    You have the 64 bit version of Windows 7?  This thread suggests printing from Vista 64 bit (and WIn 7 would be similar) is a problem in Quicken 2008 and 2009.  The thread suggests there is a solution, but the link requires registration for the forum of Quicken and who did not work for me this afternoon.

  • XPS Viewer will not print document

    Judging from the research, it is a common problem but there are no answers available.

    I have consulted a XPS document with the last version of the viewer that is downloaded and installed. My .NET framework is updated and I am running Windows XP SP3.

    Other applications you can imagine will be printed on my printer HP Laserjet network with no problem, but when I click on print in the XPS Viewer, I get a box of message that says "the Viewer cannot print all pages in the document. Check that the printer is correctly installed and that you are authorized to use this printer. »

    I suggest that you can open the control panel and access the printers and faxes and delete all printers, if you find Microsoft XPS document writer from the list, you can remove it with the exception of the HP printer and try to print the XPS document and check if it works very well.

    If the deletion of other printers does not help, you can try to remove the HP printer, then restart the computer. Later, reinstall the HP printer and try to print the XPS document and check if it helps.
