Do not update service plan

Team,

I created a fairly simple service that creates a service item, called a CPO process via link service then updates the element of service at the end.

Only the update does not work. I can see the information updated in the application form, but the service never item gets updated. Demand plan indicates that the step of the update is executed, but when I check the history of service item, it doesn't mention that never a step of creation.

Clues on how to debug this? I really don't want to recreate the entire service from scratch, but I don't really know where to start picking at him.

All the service items have a retention of title called "ErrorDescription. You must include it in your dictionary of base point of service that you use to create/update service element. You can hide it on the form when the Moment is order and show it when the time is filled with Service. After a SIT (point of service task), this field contains an error message associated with the update of the service item. For debugging, you can also display the name field if you do not show it already.

Common reasons that it would fail:

(1) no name property was specified during the creation of the if

(2) name property does not match a system integrator for the update

(3) a property has an invalid value for the field (type incorrect, too long, etc.).

    First of all, I'm not suggesting just deleting records in the planning tables.

    If you apply security to a member for a dimension, so I don't think the security filter update, if you apply the security for all dimensions that have security is enabled for a particular user, then it will create a filter for them.

    Unless you have the SP1 and SP2 installed, there is no support for Vista; Microsoft support ended.

    You say that you do not have SP1 installed, then of course we give you instructions on how to install it.

    And when you post here complain about anything doesn't work for you, publish a list of the things you have already tried.

    It is not installed if it does not appear under properties

    Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

    It will also tell you which SP you have installed (apparently without SP).

    Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, installation of SP1 first if it is not already installed.

    I've updated my computer 32-bit of Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 of Windows.  It seems successful in the history of windows update, BUT does not appear with programs. I can't update my computer without this service plan.  Can anyone help?

    Are you sure that SP1 is already installed on your computer

    • Click the button start , right click on computer and then click Properties.

      If Service Pack 1 is listed in the section edition Windows SP1 is installed on your computer.

  • Satellite L755 after error - BIOS update service is not a warranty case

    The problem began when Toshiba Tempro program notified me that I need to update bios for my laptop Satellite 755. I have downloaded the file to the Toshiba site, followed all the instructions. The process - there was error check. Tried twice. The same result. Decided to not update at all.

    But after that the next reboot of the laptop has not started. Black screen, cooler works like breathing.
    After searching the Internet I found there are hundreds of people with the same question. Which of course was not my fault.

    As there is no solution for this - the only way was to send the Toshiba laptop service.
    I wrote them a letter before, provided all the details, what happened. Also asked if it would be covered by the warranty. My laptop is still on warranty, purchased just half a year ago.
    Received an email from to SAV (Damax AG), I have to send my laptop and that * it's still on warranty *.

    Without any hesitation I sent them my laptop.

    After several days, I received a note that:
    1. it is not a case of warranty I was updating the BIOS. Come on guys, I wrote it you before I sent the laptop!
    2. for the repair of motherboard, I need to pay 1350 (!) swiss francs (the price for the new laptop is about 600 Swiss francs!).
    3. I can refuse the repair, but in this case, I still have to pay 100 Swiss francs for diagnostics.
    Why the hell should I pay for the diagnosis, even if the laptop is still on warranty + it was pretty clear what the problem was, like many people in the face of that, and Toshiba service for sure shoud be aware of this problem.

    What could advise you in this situation?

    Please don t get me wrong, but I don't really know what you want to read here. It is user in the forum and here you will not find an official statement here. All you can do here is to share your experience with others who have the same problem.

    I put t know how many services are listed for your country, but please try to communicate with other services and see if they will tell you the same thing or maybe there's something now about this BIOS problem.

  • Windows 7, update services does not work

    I have a problem to update software in windows 7.

    I have a HP G72 laptop.

    I replaced my hard drive. 350GB, Western Digital 750Go digital West.

    -J' made an image of the C partitie (if it is 3 months, installed for the recovery partition, new updated worked after that).

    The new disk hard there however any possible updates of windows. (the bar is red on the left).

    -After that, I reinstalled the original image when the laptop was new (DVD image). Same result on updates.

    -Remove the folders from the dir c/windows/SoftwareDistibution, no results.

    -Checked the status of services: windows update is statred and in automatic mode.

    N ' tried microsoft 'Fix - it' no results.

    -updated the drivers intel, no results.

    -Downloaded System Update Readiness of windows to resolve the error (Windows6 1 - KB982018 - v3 - x 64). When installing, I get the error 0xc8000247. So I'm not able to install this software.

    Looked after errors in the CBS.log newspaper: found M²: cannot read the time value RptTime from the registry. [HRESULT = 0 X 80070490 ERROR_NOT_FOUND]

    Do a clean boot, without result.

    Does anyone know a solution to this problem.

    Windows 7, update services does not, RESOLVED.

    The problem occurs when you change your hard drive for a bigger, in my hard drive of the case a GB Western Digital 340 WD 750 GB drive hard.

    For the Windows automatic updates again you need update the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driverdriver. It will not be updated when you have intel check your drivers! For me, only the 9.5.6.1001 version worked. This driver can be found at http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02219204 .

Why does not the superior version is not clear to me.

    Recently, I was installing a PC with LabVIEW, device drivers, etc..

    I got 15.0 FlexRIO and NI Update Service has not brought to my attention that FlexRIO 15.1.1 exists.  Had to google and download it manually; I know that some complain about programs to update Java and Microsoft as too intrusive, but generally, I would say that updater for NOR needs update.

    Team FlexRIO don't pass the exit of the new drivers on the Service update OR at least the new driver patched a major bug which needs to be brought to the attention of all users of FlexRIO.

  • Windows Server Update service does not work after the installation of KB2720211

    I have a Server 2008 SP1 32-bit Standard, which had the role of Server Update for the Windows software installed connected to a WSUS upstream server and everything worked, with 17 clients connected to him and get everything their approved patches.  It was a new server starting with WSUS added at this time 1 months ago.  He had to be upgraded to SP2 S2008 which I did and WSUS have continued to function.  After being on SP2, there was another 152 patches to be applied and after that WSUS does not work anymore.  It appears 1 patch that has been applied has been KB2720211 that seems to cause problems for a number of people.

    2 Remove WSUS and Windows Internal Database, restarted and installed it again (using the download of KB972466).

    2.1 install SQL Management Studio and logged to an internal database SUSDB and checked it is not set to single user (I believe it is set for multiuser name but I'm going from memory)

    3. install the KB2720211.

    4. installation KB2734608

    5 remove WSUS and Windows Internal Database, restarted and installed it again (using the download of KB972466).

    I am looking for any information on how to solve what is the question, because there is nothing in the log files I can find and no event in the windows event viewer.  I am ready to start with the server however if there is something I can look at to possibly solve the problem, please let me know.
