Door drive DVD/CD of Dell Inspiron 530 will not be closed

I was in the middle of installation 3 disks of a game, when on the open disc 3, the door kept popping back.  Thought it was a bad drive maybe, so I tried another disc, same problem.  haven't tried any disc, same problem.  I restarted, in the remake, he closed the door, but then reopened it upward once in operation.  It will not be closed the door.  I have to take out them and put it back in or is it turned and I need a new?  It came OEM with the machine, says he works correctly in Device Manager.  in properties, he says that's DVD + RW DH 16 - W15 aPBDS.  If I need a new, where I can go to the web to find what I need?

Thank you.

Hey well, good news! Before I decided to replace it, I thought that 'let me play with him' and open the computer and tried to get out.  Well, I got all the cancelled screws and plugs disconnected, but I couldn't drag him completely out of the slot, I tried several times without success.  He would slide approximately 1/2 in. and then stop.  So I gave up, he slipped into place, screwed it back in, plugged everything back in and voila, it works!  I don't know what was going on.  There was a strip of clear band they put on the machines when they send their, a thin strip through the logo Dell Isnpiron on top of the drive with a shot to the back corner, maybe the edge of the door that was contagious?  I pulled it off.  No matter what.  It works, thank the Lord.  But out of curiosity, how one removes this player?  I couldn't go out for the life of me.

Four "beeps", could indicate a memory problem, if you are comfortable working inside the computer, try to open the case, remove and reinstall all memory modules and see if that makes a difference.

If you not comfortable working with the removal and the reinstallation of the components, then I suggest that you take the Inspiron 530 to a repairman.

  • My Dell Inspiron 530 will not light

The computer has been like that for a while now. When I have the power cable connected to the back of the computer the Green underside is on so I don't know if it means that something is supposed to happen. When I opened the computer there is a yellow light as well. But when I hit the power button to turn on nothing happens, fans did not move at all. And if I remember when I opened the computer there was a few stray wires disconnected, I tried for about 10 minutes around the motherboard to find that these cards could go on. I have found none. I followed a cord in the back and he went into the motherboard and fan and another went in a box (where the power cord goes into the back). These cords may not be connected when the computer still worked well, I'm not entirely sure about this. I don't have a lot of money to replace the points and I did well in computer science and more telling me instructions on what to do.

    peterfaix

Absolutely nothing happens when I press the power button. The yellow light on the motherboard is immediately, without flashing what so ever. And when I said the green light is the I meant right where you plug in the power cord. It's on and stays green as well. No flicker.

    peterfaix

As the power light button does not lite, better to replace the power supply first, as you need a diet 'known' work to check the system and motherboard.

As you have a mini-tower 530 standard ATX power supply units can be installed, with a 24-pin or 20 + power connector 4-pin main motherboard, with or without the on/off switch.

You should be able to buy a compatible power supply either a local computer or online store.

Note: A power supply with four SATA power connectors, is necessary.

Power supply replacement procedures are here:

FYI: I don't know if this means anything but I have a Dell Inspiron 620.

The other day I tried to burn a disc, something was wrong and the cd/dvd will not open. I used all of the stem to remove the CD. Now it says an error occurred while ejecting ' DVD RW drive (d). I uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, and made sure my drivers are up to date, they are, same problem. I need major help.

Whenever the CD/DVD cannot be purchased, it is longer practice of using the average pin hole. But this should be done when the computer is turned off as ejection outwardly replaces the internal control of the drive. Therefore, it is very likely that the problem arises.
    You can try this:
Restart the PC-> press F2 when you see the Dell logo-> control if the drive is displayed in the summary of the BIOS settings screen. If this is not present, contact Dell support - the drive must be replaced.
If it is present, try to press the eject button to see if the come out. If so, leave the BIOS settings, start Windows and check. The drivers will be installed by Windows in most of the cases, and if not, you can download it from Dell from the link mentioned by Manasa Sirahatti. In addition, if you use third-party programs to burn the disc, try to uninstall it and check. If it works, and then reinstall the program.
The problem will be solved in most cases, otherwise, the disc must be replaced.
  • Dell Inspiron 17R will not start

    Hey,.

My Dell Inspiron 17R laptop 5720 was working fine until today, she won't start now. I had a virus, but Avira seemed to clean it properly, so I thought everything is ok now, but after restarting my laptop I didn't even have the "Dell" screen more. I've been Googling this topic for hours, but no one seems to have this kind of problem. Most of the users get stuck after the POST screen, but I don't yet get there. I just press the power button and that's it - laptop starts, but doesn't show anything. 1 out of 10 times, I managed to start and it works perfectly, even restart Windows it works then, but once disable us it probably will start again for the next 7-8 attempts.

    Things I've tried:

-Remove the battery, hold the power button / stop for 60 seconds

-In the course of running Dell Diagnostics (regular and thorough mode) test - it detects no error

    -Commissioning with or without battery

    -Flashing of BIOS (A14)

    -Reinstalling Windows, even tried Linux

-Remove the strips of memory, trying to start with one stick (I had 2 x 4 GB) - will not change anything

It looks like a problem that does occur from time to time. It is a hardware or a software problem? Is there anything else I should try before sending it for repair?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi randomthings,

I appreciate for all stages of misjudged shootings.

I recommend you to disconnect all external devices. Turn on the system and check if there are codes of beeps at startup.

Given that the system turns after several attempts, it may be due to poor nutrition or inadequate food, bad drive HARD or other hardware problem.

A poor, distressed or inadequate diet is often the cause of this problem. If the hard disk does not have enough power during the first time the computer starts, it will not be able to spin the platters of hard drive fast enough to start the computer. However, if you restart the computer, two, three, or four times, because the platters spin already, he is able to get the drive to speed and able to boot from the disc. Try with an AC adapter / CC known good and control; If the problem continues, I suspect it is a HDD failure.

Please, remove the HARD drive and turn on the system and check the status.

  • Dell Inspiron 17 - will not start - get hard disk clicking noise

I am able to boot up the laptop to the BIOS (F2) and the laptop passes all diagnostics - I upgraded from Windows 8 to 10 Windows about 6 months ago and everything has been great to work - no problem at all.  Then a month ago started the problem of loud noise clicking.

Here is my problem laptop > I start pressing the power on button - I can hear the fan start - power and the drive light - but one or two seconds later, the drive LED turns off and it's the disk hard clicking noise starts.  I have to then press and hold the power button until the laptop stops.  I can hear the stop of the fan and Park disk heads - then all the lights will turn off.  Then I have to start this process all over again [sometimes more than 8 to 10 times] until the laptop finally gets up and allows me to connect.

Nobody knows what will fix this problem?

  • Windows VISTA Home Prem on DELL Inspiron 1521 will not start

Read the message below. It has been copied from another thread and the poster has been informed to start a new thread with his question. What is ironic, is that I have exactly the same problem on my Dell.

After downloading some updates to Vista my Dell desktop computer restarted and tried to load step 3 updates, it moves very quickly from 0% to 100% and then restarts, only to go back into the same loop of trying to set up step 3 and restart.

I tried the following, starting in safe mode, same results updates are trying to configure.

Auto repair, I am told by a message, it cannot be repaired.

System Restore, I have only 2 system shown to restore points and they are at the time of the upgrade, if I try these points to restore I get an error message.

I tried to reboot from the original installation provided CD but all I get is 'windows is copying files', then a black screen.

I tried the boot iso but neosoft option again to the message windows is to copy the files, and then the black screen.

I'm in thr stage where I can not think of anything else other that to go to a data recovery specialist, to recover the files most important (have over 200 GB of various things on the hard disk) and then reset to factory settings and load data and try and find the sources of all the programs that I had. It looks like an enormous task and it is the main computer for my business. If a kind soul has suggestions as to how I can get this situation somehow, I would be eternally grateful.

    Thanks in advance

I'm fairly warned to get to a point to get my data before a complete reconstruction, however, I give that easy. Anyone else having this problem. I'd really like to find a way to solve.

  • Error "the network card experiences driver or hardware problems" and "To ensure that your Internet protocol bindings are Correct" on Dell Inspiron 530

Original title: 'make sure that your Internet protocol bindings are Correct (DELL Inspiron 530 Intel 82562V and Desltop)

I'm doing tech support for the family and I'm stumped. They had a Dell 530 with an Intel 82562V-2 and is no longer connected to the internet.

    ipconfig/all statements

    Hostname...: wayne-PC
    Suffix main DNS...:
    Node... type: hybrid
    Active... IP routing: No.
    Active... proxy WINS: No.

That's all. Windows gives errors two errors:

    (1) the card network knows of driver or hardware problems

    (2) check that your Internet Protocol connections are Correct

I installed the latest Intel drivers and TCP IP settings are checked for V4 and V6. I even went as far to install a new Dynex Ethernet card that gets the same mistakes.

I even tried the netsh reset ip and netsh winsock reset command. I have no idea what to do next. I searched glasses and found similar problems with the same model of Dell and card, but they have been fixed by rebooting.

    Hi MButIer,

-How long have you had this problem?
-Was any change in software because the computer before the show?

    Follow the steps mentioned below:

    Step 1:

Temporarily disable the antivirus software (and any other security software) and the firewall on the computer as a test. Once disabled check if you can connect to the internet without any error.

If disabling the antivirus software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the antivirus as a result program. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

Note: Make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall programs.

    Warning

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 2:

Perform a System Restore to a point before the show and check if this solves the problem.

If the steps above do not help, the best would be to get in touch with the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.

  • Dell Inspiron 530 close

    Mr President

I have a dell Inspiron 530, I bought in 2007.  It worked fine until last night.  He comes to close, I have it will re-start stop you it again, finally I connected with dell, run a diagnosis with the material, and all this past.  He asked me if I wanted to restore to an earlier point, and before he was finished restoration, the computer closed again, after all the software operating system seem to disappear, I can not connect to the computer at all, the screen is all black, the logo of microsoft doesn't even show up.  What can I do?

    Bob Brown

    Hi, Bob Brown,.

Follow the steps below to locate the problem:

    Unplug all external devices:

    • A piece of equipment can interfere with the normal Windows startup process. Try to unplug all the devices in your computer, including:
    • Printers
    • Scanners
    • Media card readers
    • Small cradles of media (iPod, PDA, MP3 player, etc.)
    • Digital cameras and video recorders
    • USB storage devices
    • CD or DVD of all optical drives

The only devices you should leave on your computer are your monitor, mouse and keyboard, if the computer is a desktop computer.

Check if you have run diagnostic computer equipment:

To run PSA Diagnostics, turn on the computer and press the several times at the Dell logo screen. This will start the unique Boot Menu. Select Diagnostics to start hardware diagnostic assessment.

This test takes about 5 minutes.

Reset the BIOS to default values:

If your computer is set to the first attempt to start on another device, this can cause problems with the successful start-up of Windows. To reset the BIOS of your computer to the default settings, follow these steps:

    Restart the computer

At the Dell logo on reboot, press of repeatedly until you see entering setup in the upper right corner of the screen.

According to the BIOS, you may have to press a button on the bottom to load the default settings. For example, on the Inspiron N5110.

Press ESC to exit the BIOS and be sure to select Save and exit to save your changes.

Check if the computer starts in Mode safe:

    • Start the computer.
    • Type on the keyboard immediately after the Dell logo screen disappears until you see the Windows Advanced on-screen Menu of Options.
    • (If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, restart the system and try again.)
    • Select safe mode and press .
    • Log on as an administrator or as a user with administrative access.
