  Hello, I'm trying to understand this for a long time, but I failed. I decided to sign up here and ask.

  I have Windows 7 installed and fully upgraded, everything works like a charm, but in my device manager, I have two displayed graphics cards
  ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series (works well)
  ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics (boot error, code 10 device) - well Yes, looked at the list of error codes MS, tried to update the drivers, nothing works

  As far as I know on desktop it s normal behavior because the card will be installed as a primary and secondary card...
  But in Device Manager shouldn't t no yellow exclamation point.

  First you must make sure if more recent display of the official website of Toshiba driver is installed:

  If it doesn t work it would be interesting to know if you can see the same (yellow exclamation mark) on pre-installed OS from Toshiba.

  I want to speed up my editing process. My current bottleneck is the GPU. I have a Zotac GTX 960 AMP Edition, would throw another one of the same card in SLI, or even on my editing speed profit? What about another card GTX with or without SLI? It seems to be a ton of information for the game, but not really talk about creating content. I also use Photoshop and indesign a lot, so no advantage with these programs in mind would help a lot.

  I use for my setup triple monitor double cards ATI HD4650 (even make & model). Performance parameters 'enable opengl' is checked, but when I create a new document, it is not active opengl (no view rotation, panoramic flick etc.). However if I move the Photoshop window for the main monitor and close/reopen it, all opengl functions operate smoothly. Is there a way to make opengl works on any other than the primary monitor monitor?

  What says Christmas. This is a typical behavior of most cards multi / multi monitor setups, usually related to synchronization and priority issues / limitations at the level of the driver and graphics bus to your system. Maybe even that your PCIe connectors are run on completely different multipliers (one 16 x, the other 8 x), so it would become a limitation in your motherboard and not be fixable somehow.

  Without replacing your power supply, then the NVIDIA GT 240 1 GB DDR5 is a very good choice.  I use this card in one of my PC has the same motherboard as your PC.  This card is a simple map width.

  If you were to replace the power supply to 500-550 watts then you'd have other choices of video card.  The NVIDIA GTX 460 1 GB is a double card broad, and would also be a good choice.   The GTX 460 is a double wide the adjacent card PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.

  Also, I have increased my 6 GB memory using theKingstonbrand.  Make sure to match the memory clocks, calendar and AC to your existing memory DIMM.  Look carefully on the specifications.

  KKingotu, welcome to the forum.

  The problem you will have with the GTX 950 is, it requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released on February 5, 2010.  There is no way to update the UEFI BIOS.  You can contact Technical Support PNY to see if they have a VBIOS update for the video card that will work with your motherboard.

  Meanwhile in the space provided, you can measure e/s rear plate on the front of the computer case to see if any of the components.  In addition, it is a wide double card (two locations).

I made the space for this double-card slot; and upgraded POWER of Antec 650W PSU.  When mounted, the graphics card is quite close to the above TV tuner card... I can move the tuner card to a location that puts it above the PSU, but allows generous space above the graphics card. The Tuner card generates a lot of heat? It would be a wise move? I asked a similar? but referred to as a 'video card' tuner card... a different animal... excuse my bad, my intel severely limited.

  I have the drive Bay multimedia Pocket, Personal Media Bay, two hard drives, power SUPPLY Corsair HX 650 block (extra long cables), Media Player and the NVIDIA GTX 460.  Everything fits. The cables are a little squished but otherwise it's okay.

  My firm works on the edges of the top and the PSU's fan mounted to the top, as was the original power supply.  Otherwise, my firm is the same size as yours.

• Need a dual band card WiFi AC for Probook 4530 s

  We have several laptops ProBook 4530 s (less then 2 years) in our society (product # A7K05UT #ABA) provided with stock simple strip cards and will not recognize the 5 ghz band.  I have a 5 yr old DV5 which has an Atheros card that recognizes them both and a DV7 new desire that I just put an Intel card in which works perfectly.

  When we put the Intel card in the Probooks - at startup, BIOS flashes instantly that it will not recognize the card with a 702 error.

  I can't believe that HP would be intentionally block the ability to update their products.  The ProBooks run the latest BIOS Upgrade and have no driver card dual band listed.

  Does anyone know a double card strip 2 x 2 with BlueTooth that works?  Or y at - it an easy way to unlock this paralyzed from the BIOS?

  If this upgrade problem cannot be resolved - looks like we get a different provider of portable computers.

  Yes, unfortunately, there is a BIOS "whitelist" on this model that locks the unsupported cards.

  HP seems to have put an end to this practice recently (maybe in the last year or so), as consumers have indicated being able to install any model wireless card they please.

  This helps any questions with the 4530 s.

  According to the maintenance manual, Chapter 3, the card only dual band with BT that works is the Intel Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 - HP 636672-001 part number.  This isn't an AC card.

  Due to the restrictive nature of the BIOS, you should also get this card with HP number thereon, or it won't work.

  I checked the HP part store for availability, and HP has more article for sale, so my recommendation would be to look on sites like eBay and query by part number and buy a card used, but tested and functional.

Are there drivers for this card should I download rather than using what windows 8.1 installed for me? When I choose 'have disk', there is only a set of drivers to the choice. I really want to keep this card, but do not feel like I should remove my wife USB every time it connects somewhere.

  IbrohimMsry, welcome to the forum.

  Both of the cards you plan are too long to fit in the space provided. You should stay less than 9 "long.  In addition, you will not have to buy a PSU with 850W.

  I like the graphics cards XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  The map in the link should work.  The specs list the minimum power required.  However, I believe that it is no more than 500W.  Given that it is a double card profile it will cover one of the PCIE x 1 slots.  I suggest you read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.

  I love the Corsair and OCZ PSU.  They are the manufacturers that make good, reasonable price, products.  I suggest to measure the current PSU and comparing measures that you choose.  This will save any return.

• Simple Eye - fi a99 / Wi - Fi card Firmware Adjustments - REQUESTED

  The a99 wi - fi slot feature is almost usable, but it lacks features simple and make it useful.  What follows is requested for improvement through an update of the firmware:

  1. allow the user to specify which card to save video files to in a double card independent adjustment of the jpeg + RAW sort.

  Why is it useful?

  Many users use an eye - fi / SD wi - fi for the transmission of small JPEG images using a card of high capacity and high speed SD for RAW files.  When you use jpeg + Raw sorting and shooting video, video files supported voluminous record into the slot 1 - the only one that takes an eye-fi/wi-fi card that are of smaller capacity (maximum 16 GB available) and slower.  It would be extremely useful to separately indicate where to save the video files, so you can record on a greater capacity, a faster card in slot 2 (and do not mix with the JPEG images low resolution for import purposes).  So small JPEG would save the wifi to slot 1 card, while the FIRST & video files could save to slot 2.

  2 allows the user to assign the 'Protect the Image' function to a button while reviewing the images via the playback mode.

  Why is it useful?

  Often, it is not feasible (due to connection limits) or undesirable to transmit images.  So users use the eye - fi function to pass only the selected images.  On a Sony camera, a user specifies these selected images by setting them to be protected.  The current workflow of the image protection is heavy and buried in the menu structure.  It is much easier to be able to protect an image just when reviewing it via the playback mode.  One of the buttons could be assigned to a key to 'protect' then in the game / image view mode (the key can return to its original during filming function).  This is useful beyond transmission wi - fi - protect images is unecessarily currently heavy treatment.

  CASE STUDY

  I currently use a Canon camera + transmitter wireless transmission of images due to these problems rather than my a99.  For some events, I transfer more small jpeg copies in a folder on the computer for live view images on the monitors for customers to see.  They are taken to review the customer only in the moment.  I don't bother import so the card for that game simply lives in the unit because the FIRST important & video files save on the main map.  I would like to be able to use a Sony camera to do this but not until it's faster to select the images to be transferred and then choose which card to save video to.  While my example is specific to my needs, I know that a lot of users will benefit the small changes that will yield improvements in usability.

  Any chance that Sony updates ever the a99 to allow the user to record video files to map 2, when shooting Jpeg/Raw sort?

  Your on the team of Nvidia or AMD according to what you like.

  Personally, I'm on the AMD team. These are my reasons.

  1. better bang for your buck (value for money)

  2. largest (in general) ability of Nvidia GPU

  As Tesla mentioned in a previous post, simple maps are better than double, less problems and a lot, a lot less heat in the case (bi - GPU of in an Aurora that give about 10mm of the gap between the GPU - ridiculous!)

  If you go with bi - GPU then don't forget if you don't you OEM GPU, you will need to buy the standard of 'reference' of the GPU, not GPU which is sold to the computer vendors.

  Use of the GPU to reference a fan that sucks hot air from inside the case and expelled through a vent at the rear of the GPU instead of recycling/expel hot air inside the housing of the computer as the standard GPU do, they are a little more difficult to obtain than standards, but if you go double, I don't recommend using anything else you have overheating problems.

  In my opinion, if you want something on the cheap side giving you a leap upward in performance and speed then I would recommend a single 4GB AMD 6990.

  If Tesla autour it may be able to give you advice a little better than me, he is the man to talk with Alienware desktop computer (sorry of Tesla, I hope that this post don't bombard you with messages :)!)

  FYI - in one of the previous posts on this subject, it has been mentioned that only a few GPU have been "authorized" by Dell, just to clarify that for you.

  Dell has only affirm that they have not test anything after the 6990 on your machine, it means absolutely nothing to the end-users of no guarantee of left, pretty well all of the cards, even the new GTX780 or the 'R' AMD series and other work on/in your machine, it's just political: P

  Using a "replacement card" in your PC even if you have the remaining warranty cancels not it, you just won't have any guarantee on the aftermarket GPU, that is not a question if you buy the aftermarket GPU new since it will have its own guarantee.
