Double-click issue when it should only click 1 time

I'm having a problem when I click my mouse 1 time, he thinks that I double clicked it.  It must be the new computer with Windows 8 as my old computer has never had a problem.  I use the computer to place their orders online for a particular company and now when I single click it's duplicate each order I place.  I had someone access to their computer and enter an order for me and that they have no problem.  I thought that maybe it was my computer then I used my laptop which also has Windows 8 and it's the same thing.

I looked at my settings/click of mouse and it shows a small folder icon and you click to select the speed of the double click you want; However, I thought that maybe it would show that the folder open when I click 1 time.  There can be no.  I certainly had to double-click it to open it.  Shouldn't this mean then when I use my mouse to click 1 time it has clicked 1 times.

Then I thought that maybe there are some types of viruses on my computer, but I scanned and nothing shows.  Could it be something with my internet provide?

The speed of the double click you speak is to check how it behaves when you double-click on a folder. In addition, the mouse clicks are the same for Windows 8 as well.

Have you tried to install a different mouse of the computer and the laptop to check the status of the question?

This problem can occur for the following reasons:

  • Are you inadvertently double-click instead of single-click.
  • The mouse settings have been changed, either manually or by another program, to send a command of multiple clicks when you perform a single physical click.
  • Mouse drivers are corrupt.

    Adobe have recognized a problem concerning the projects with the borders where if you have any overlaping smartshapes on the edge of a slide area there are problems with your edge on your project, once published and / or in the Web browser.  Noted a bug with Adobe.

    A solution is to position not smartshapes outside the area of the landslide.  Or that I also found if - rather than rework my projects by inserting a blank slide that shows a fraction of a second before the slide containing the landslide area outslide objects also corrects the problem.

    If downloads are gone, it is possible that Windows deletes the downloads based on security policies defined in Internet Explorer. I realize realize that sounds strange, but it is related to the functionality of Firefox to submit downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.

    If this does not work, your user profile may be damaged.  To fix this use http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.  If that is the only available Administrator Profile (you need to be an administrator to fix this), enable the Hidden Administrator Account (HAA) using http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?&lang=en&cr=US&guid=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.windows.vista.administration_accounts_passwords&p=1&tid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055&mid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055.  If you don't remember the password, try nothing because that's probably what you (or seller) did during the installation.  Once that is done, don't forget to disable the HAA to save it in case it is necessary once again and for safety reasons (since people often try to hack into systems using this account).  Do NOT use the HAA as your administrator account because if you lose the only administrator on the system account or it is damaged again, then you're watered.  Then see if you can open your desktop icons.
