  I work in my company with automation. We use the vCO to automate tasks.

  Today, we can remotely running scripts and command-line inside the machine virtual linux.

  When a machine virtual linux is supplied at a distance, I can execute a command for puppets or run the bash script, for example.

  I want to run remote commands as on windows server.

  According to my research, it is possible using PowerShell. Right? Is there another way?

  As an example, I want to run the command as follows:

  -install puppets (msiexec /qn /i puppet.msi PUPPET_MASTER_SERVER = 192.168.0.10/l * v log_install.txt)

  -run any bat script;

  Resume my doubts:

  Well, technically you can use the Powershell plugin and dynamically configure each virtual newly deployed as the target host computer (temporarily).

  However, if you just need to call a few commands, which seems to be a bit of an overdose.

  Alternatives:

  -Use the powershell plugin, to a "midwife" powershell static host, which then calls the new virtual machines via psexec or remote powershell

  -Use the SSH plugin (in which case you can have a SSH server in the windows model)

  -Use the operations of comments (if you only need vmware tools installed on the Windows machine). Check the package to "get comfortable": comments script package manager

A rep trouble shoot the problem with all of its resources in Godaddy, it also help with my problem of Dreamweaver, together, we couldn't solve the problem. All my creditential is correct, but the message keep error display.

  I recently created a new site using Dreamweaver CC. I have all the passwords that are required and the SFTP, 1 & 1 host information. So far I did the following things to get my site online:

  1 Manage Site > click on the name of my site > change > servers >

  2. Add a server with the correct information by using SFTP, user name and password

  3. click on "Test Site", one of two things occur:

  a. half of the time I did the test was a success

  b. the other half, I get an error message stating: "an FTP error occurred - cannot establish a connection to the host." Maximum number of users reached or not authorized to make the connection because of local firewall blocks FTP data). When this happens, I checked all my firewall and they are all closed, so I don't see how it can be my computer blocks.

  4. click on save.

  So, basically, no matter what I do, even if I put the correct information, the old site is still one that appears when you go to the URL, even the time where the 'Test' Site was successful. Please if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, I very much would like to know!

  This means that the files are not uploaded to the correct root folder on your server.  I do not use 1 & 1, so I don't know what are their default values.  But most of the web hosting on Linux servers using public_html / or htdocs / in the root directory of the server.  See screenshot.  If in doubt, check with your hosting provider.

  The domain name was purchased?

  The domain name was still filled to your server?  If in doubt, contact your Web host to confirm the account is activated.  And you have the correct credentials including the root directory connection.

  Alternatively, you can go down the route of Dreamweaver templates.  But you must republish site pages whenever you modify your Template menu.  Even on small sites which can get rather tedious.

• Problem with to work with DW 5.5 server

  Hi - I thought I was ready and able to connect to the remote server.  But when I tried to open a file for editing I got an error message (see image 1 below).  I've basically just went to the window of the remote server and double click index.html to open the file for editing, but received the error below...

  

  Also, here are additional images of site management to allow you to see where I am and to help you solve problems.  It's been a while since I had to set up the parameters in DW manage sites so I hope someone can help me.  Anyone have an idea what is wrong?
