Downgrade WIN 10 to WIN 8/8.1
I bought 17R3 AW which came with WIN 10 installed. Prefer 8.1 VICTORY... I have right to demotion since DELL/AW installed (OEM). ? AW Co/Dell there installation/installation floppies, etc.. ? I have an old version 8.1 a dead laptop, that could be used. Attempts to access AW directly to anything does not.
Dell give you nothing outside that came with the computer. As your new computer came with 10, they will provide only windows 10. With respect to records in general, Dell stopped providing the mid-2000s. They have the download links for all drivers updated and a new system of restoring image that you can use to restore your computer.
With respect to the legal aspects of the proposed options, I'm not a * just tell you my experiences :-). I don't know if its "legal" or not, some licenses to transfer windows from one PC to another PC, as long as the first PC died and is no longer used. Others are "hard locked" for the first PC, installed, even though Microsoft makes it easy to transfer anyway (weird I know). You can always buy Windows 8.1 if you wish, or if that makes you more comfortable.

Please read my answer in HP Windows 8 downgrade Win 7 HP 8300 SFF - No. Win 7 OEM sticker. Attention to the sections 1, 2, 4 and 5. Download RWEverything and ABR Beta with Support Windows 7. If your computer has a SLIC2.1 table, then he can use a certificate and SLP key. ABR Beta use to save the current key and certificate on your current factory pre-installed Windows 7 HP OS. Using ABR Beta to restore the key and the certificate to your new installation.

Mr President.
I have a hp pavilion 2320tx g6 win 8 x 64 laptop now, I want to install win 7. because I am a student of cse & we need to work on win 7. now please tell me where to find the drivers & how can I install?
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaese help out me.
Hello:
First make your recovery media set before installing W7 64-bit.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03481733
Then you need to change a setting in the BIOS to be able to install and run W7 x 64.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03736054
Then all the W7 x 64 drivers and software of this model will work also on yours.
You only install the AMD driver that will install the drivers for the AMD graphics cards and Intel in your model.
DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK
If you have a Ralink WiFi card, then you must use this Ralink bluetooth software and driver because the one on the link above is for BT 3.0, not 4.0 as your model has.

HP Windows 8 downgrade Win 7 HP 8300 SFF - No. Win 7 OEM sticker.
Hello
We bought 2 x HP 8300 Mini PC with pre-installed Windows 8. It came with Windows 7 recovery discs, so I could load Windows 7, which means that he is allowed to do this. However, we have our own image of Windows 7 customized for the PC and I would like to continue using it. The problem, however, is the new PC does not come with Windows OEM license keys, they have only a Windows 8 logo on the side.
Is it possible that I can find Win 7 license? We are looking to buy another 30 jobs in the coming months, and I don't want to run on each of them individually.
Thank you
Luke
Luke,
With the introduction of Windows 8, Microsoft requires major OEM computer manufacturers to incorporate the window product key in the BIOS. These computers are no longer come with a certificate of Authenticity affixed containing the product key.
It is a forum of HP consumer products and as HP Compaq Elite 8300 business computer is a class computer business, you can ask your question in the HP Enterprise Business Community. You can also contact the HP Business Support Center.
By the way HP 8300 SFF computers come with Windows 7 recovery disc can allow you to use the HP OEM preactivation product key and the OEM HP certificate. If the recovery discs are the same version as your "custom"... image IE "If your image is Win7 Pro, the recovery disks should also be Win7 Pro"... you can try to use the procedure I posted below;
(1) download and unzip ABR Beta with Windows 7 Support. This is the homepage of ABR for Windows Vista. Please follow the section "How to use" for information and instructions on how to use it. These steps also apply to Windows 7. Perform the 'activation' on each computer backup and back up the certificate and the key has been recovered in separate places for comparison. (He draws the original key HP preinstalled OEM factory and certificate from your factory installed OS OEM) Compare the keys and certificates for each computer, they are all the same? Please report back with your findings.
(2) download and use RWEverything to determine the version of the OA/SLP/SLIC in BIOS of the computer. See this page of Web MyDitigalLife titled "How to check or verify PC motherboard BIOS SLIC Version is SLP OA 2.0 or 2.1 for OEM Activation" for more information on how to use and decipher the information. (Windows 8 use OA 3.0 and this is where the problem can happen) Please report back with your findings.
(3) If you do not already have a copy, download your version (the version that was preinstalled on your HP computer) Windows 7 from Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River. Using the built-in Windows 7 CD/DVD burning software, burn downloaded Windows 7 ISO on a DVD.
(4) install Windows 7 from your new disk 'Windows 7' or your image by following all prompts as needed. Don't let not Windows try to scoped. Run ABR 'restoration of activation' to 'install' the previously saved until the product key and the certificate. Make sure that Windows is activated, repeat "restoration of activation" until Windows 7 is activated. (It "installs" pre-installed HP OEM factory original key and certificate from your factory installed OS to your new installation of Windows. This HP OEM key and the OEM HP certificate, as well as the BIOS is what allows your computer to HP be factory preactivated.)
(5) install all drivers from the computer. These can be found on the support page HP for your computer, or you can find newer drivers on the various websites of the manufacturers of component... Intel, NVidia, AMD/ATI, Ralink, Realtek, etc..
(6) image of the Windows installation and deploy it to the remaining computers.
Please send Bravo

downgrade win 7 Ultimate to win 7 Home Premium original
I have improved my Aspire 5740 G-5323 to win7 Ultimate, apparently with a hack, and the added system so do not think that anything had happened until I rebooted the system. It started with Win7 Ultimate. Two weeks later I started to receive messages on an illegal version of Win7 Ultimate. I had already purchased a key of MS for Win7 Pro. I want to downgrade to Win7 Pro, but it seems very messy. Does anyone have a solution?
See you soon,.
Gerry
Problem solved. Back up your system, disable or remove all anti-virus software, disconnect the wi - fi, run the upgrade of windows software, enter your product key. At this point, the upgrade appears to plant - there is not, reboot your system from the Start button and you should be good to go. It took a few hours to understand. If you have any questions send an email.
see you soon

17 - f260nb of Pavilion: Pavilion 17-f260nb downgrade win 8-7
Hello
I got a new laptop of 17-f260nb pavilion by leaving my old company.
I went to the hardware store with her to have an installed SSD.
I asked them not to install any OS, as I intend to install my own windows 7 dvd
but of course, they went a little further and they install windows 8.1.
I intend to give it to my father, who detects windows 8-way too difficult,
and like all its other computers windows 7 is now the logical choice.
I've managed to install windows 7, but need the right drivers.
Can I use windows 8 drivers on the hp site? or anyone can report the correct drivers for me?
Thank you
Kind regards
Peter.
You are the very welcome.
For the first unit, you need this driver...
This package provides the HP 3D DriveGuard software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for the laptop models running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard software protects the drive hard by parking the heads if cell phone accidentally falls, or is suddenly struck by another object.
File name: sp71811.exe
For the second device, try this one...

Hello
I've passed my f - 114 dx, the Intel Core i7-4510u pavilion, the cpu @ 2.00 GHz 2.60 GHz. 6.00gbRam, OS 64 - bit win8 to win7Pro. Trying to find the drivers section to access the internet, but couldn't find the page?
In addition, when looking for drivers, there a number of sites offer to tell you what you need, if you download their app. I'm not comfortable with this, as they say often undesirable in your computer. Does anyone know of a reliable site for this?
Txt in advance,

Hello:
You should be able to use the W7 x 64 drivers and this model on your software.
Do not use the BIOS or firmware files well. Those who are strictly specific to the model.
The list of the parts for your model indicates that you need this driver for the wireless card.

Installation of Win 7 pro on win 7 ultimate
OK, the first facts:
My friend has a computer that came with Vista installed.
Some time before, she had a problem with the computer and brought it to a repairman.
When she got the computer back everything was in order, but the repairman installed a copy of Win 7 Ultimate instead of Vista.
Everything went well for a while, but yesterday after an update, Windows 7 has been declared as not authentic.
She immediately called the guy who told him that it is not surprising that it had installed a pirated copy.
She now wants to buy a legitimate release of Win 7.
Now for the questions:
She does not have the ultimate version of Win 7, Win 7 Pro would be better suited for her. Is it possible to downgrade Win 7 Ultimate to Windows 7 Pro without losing all data on the hard drive?
In addition, she still the Vista COA at hand. Then it would be possible to just switch to Win 7 Pro without having to reinstall Vista first?
Hello
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.Unfortunately, it is not possible to downgrade directly from Windows 7 Ultimate Windows 7 Professional, without modifying the files. You can not downgrade any Windows like the upgrade. THUS, back up all personal files and other files, and then perform a new installation (will erase the partition and install Windows 7 professional fees). You can then restore the files. Note that installed applications/programs should not be backed up because they can be installed after the installation of Windows. This process requires no installation of Windows Vista. But if you plan to upgrade, rather than clean install of Windows 7 Professional, you must install Windows Vista (new installation) first and then proceed to the upgrade.Note this upgrade can be made between architectures, i.e., x 86 (32 bit) x 64 (64-bit) or vice versa, even if it's Windows Vista to Windows 7. -

I want to downgrade from windows 7 to windows Xp sp3
I have win 7 32 bit & need to downgrade win xp sp3 pls help
Usually, there is no method of downgrading to XP. You will need to "reformat" the computer with Windows XP.
Please note: you must first locate all the possible drivers of Windows XP you will need to: 'this computer', if they all are!

Satellite C850 - downgrade to win 8 to Win 7
Epilogue:
OK, so I tried my best. I realize there are a few nice things about Win8, but as a daughter-in-law ginger I just can't accept it as part of my life. I've had the phone for 6 months now and what are the changes that I do, I just keep coming back to the fact I'm trying to force Win 8 in the way that Windows 7 works which is stupid when Windows 7 is available. The only real reason I braked, Win 8 was the preinstalled operating system (Toshiba should really reconsider that decision, it of a horrible OS for anything other than the occasional use of Tablet and actually paralyzes their material). But the time has come, I can not simply continue. Win7 should return to the throne.
Go ahead:
Anyway, preamble, I have a few questions about the "downgrade". First off I used the Toshiba 'Recovery Media Creator' to create the backup disks (which I assume the laptop back to the State 'out of the box') and back up important data. I have Windows 7 on a USB bootable (a legal copy of too - oh, how decadent!).
I think I need to put the Boot_ _Secure to * Disabled * and the _Boot Mode_ to * CSM Boot * so that my USB bootable to be detected. I read several pages to this subject and some people suggest I need a kind of SATA drivers on the stick too. Can anyone confirm this is true or not? If it is true, where can I get coming from (URL if poss?) and where to put them on the handle (root? It ask for a location?).
In terms of installation, it is just the standard installation of Win 7, but you must delete all partitions on the HARD drive to remove things inherited from TPG, right? Once the Secure Boot/UEFI malarkey went it is just a standard laptop - or I am me wrong?
What to do next:
YOU! I need you! In a Kitchener way (if you don't know what I mean, google Kitchener), I need you to tell me if I'm being a fool. Not on the "downgrade" because it may be the thing the smarter I'll do with this laptop - win 8 is so frustrating awkward that I wouldn't be surprised if this is not the first operating system diagnosed with a personality disorder - the thing I need people to tell me what if I missed anything on my list "return of zen". Is it really just BIOS, USB boot (with SATA drivers?), delete partitions, create new unified partition and then finally to install the new OS? Did any of his right or am I'm going to be stuck at halfway through to see that I forgot to change something leaving my fubar' laptop computer ed?
TL; DR.?
Win 7 on Win 8, need help.
Summary:
Thanks to all who answer. The power of your, em... Well what you want to (except it dirty you rabbit!).
:)
Before restoring W7, take a look at the classic interface (classicshell.net) and you can change your mind. It looks like W7, it behaves like W7, so it must be W8!

Portege Z30: Fingerprint software no longer work after Win 7 32-bit downgrade
Hi, I need a little more help with my Z30.
Have just downgraded to Win 7 Pro 64 Bit to Win Pro 32 Bit.
Everything seems to work except for the utility of fingerprinting.
My laptop has biometric device of validity and it shows up as working in the Device Manager.
I have install then it appropriate Toshiba Fingerprint Software listed as fp - sw - 20140811102806.zip.
The installation seems to go smoothly. However, if I run the software I get an icon on the taskbar, but nothing else. By clicking on this icon (or going back to the program via the start menu) and no registration window opens. Basically, nothing happens.
If I try and close the window in the bar of tasks, nothing happens. I have to use ctrl-alt-delete to close the icon and stop the running program.
I ve started to change the settings and made sure that the biometric device is enabled and checked the box to allow users to log on to Windows using their fingerprints.
I ve uninstalled Validity Sensor and allowed to reinstall.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Toshiba Fingerprint Software. No luck.
I think that I m doing something pretty obvious, but need some help on this.
Anyone got any suggestions?
