  Mickey McFly please make sure you download your download folder or a different folder in addition to your Applications folder.  Once Adobe Acrobat is downloaded you can install the software in your Applications folder.

  I got XI of Acrobat Pro installed on a desktop running Windows 7.  Everything was fine, until I got a new desktop computer, faster (still under Windows 7) so I disabled Acrobat on my old computer, downloaded and installed the same version (Pro XI) on my new computer with the same serial number, and now it does not work.  I get a dialog box titled "serial number Upgrade.  Under the title it says ' serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer.

• Cannot use Prem Pro CS4 on the second computer

  Initially I had Adobe Design Premium CS3 on two computers with license a single user.  One on my desk for work and a copy on my laptop when I travel and I still work.  I've recently upgraded to Adobe Master Collection CS4 that includes Prem Pro... since I'm working now with video.

  Here's my dilemma... All my CS3 update programs that are now CS4 run on my desktop... but Prem Pro does not work on my second computer which is my cell phone (works on my desktop).  He said that the license has expired.  Well, since I paid full price for this and have a license full activated and am registered I find it confusing to say the least.

  Any suggestions?  I'm resistant to call their support line since I have concluded that Adobe training of their technicians in India is next to nill and they don't have any idea of Adobe software beyond what they are film script to say.

• I can't open my downloaded Acrobat Pro XI to the point to enter my serial number.

  I got a free 30 day trial, and now whenever I try to open a PDF file or launch Acrobat Pro XI of my programs and downloads, I get a window "Your Free Trial has ended" and that no request.  It should not be more complicated to get the real thing for the trial, which took 2 minutes.

  In the window "Trial is over", there would be another option to "allow the software."

  You must click this option and enter the purchased serial number to activate the software.

  This error appears when you try to install an upgrade version.

  During the upgrade, you will be asked to enter the serial number twice.

  The first time, you must enter the serial number for the product you bought for example Acrobat XI and the second time, you will be asked to enter the serial number for the previous version you had.

  So please enter serial number previous version on the second line.
