Download Appworld from blackBerry Smartphones but can't find it on the device

When I asked to download it says that it was already there I wanted more new version. He said yes, download seemed to work but no icon or the means to access - before or after the last download. When the phone was new I have deleted the icon I guess... I tried to show all.  I want to use now if you need to find out where access from pdq.

have you tried the search option... try to type the word "App world" & give it a go

    This driver belongs to AsIO.sys Asus Probe. Try to uninstall Asus Probe and if you need, install again. If this does not help, uninstall Asus Probe and other tools of control such as Speedfan. Open the registry (regedit.exe) editor and search for AsIO.sys and remove all the entries that you can find.

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    Of what you say, I read that you had BES enabled on your BB, you have separated from the company/what BES now, but your BB was not properly cleaned of it's political, that continues to limit the things. To remedy this, you perform a specific wiping of your BB as follows:

    1. First of all, review the link of my auto-sig about backups... this process will completely clean your BB and you have to start over.
    2. Once ready, follow this KB to clean your BB of the it policy:
      • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings
    3. When / if you restore, DO NOT do a full restore, restore only those databases that are essential, especially to avoid those who have something to do with the company, BES, political, etc.. If you fail at this stage and all restore, you simply put it on your BB policy and be right where you started.

  • Pearls of impossible to send blackBerry Smartphones, but can receive via enterprise server

    three separate beads, two on Vodafone and the other on the Orange network stopped being able to send emails, even if they can receive ok.

    I have suffered two own handsets, deleted their accounts on the server of the company.

    After awhile, I reapplied it represents and reactivated the phones. Added to this, we have restarted the server and restarted.

    The strange thing is that we have 4 connected BlackBerry and works on our server (in Switzerland) but also a blackberry curve in London which also works fine.

    Verify that the affected user has send as current authorization for the service (besadmin) account in AD.

    Steps to follow:

    1. go in users and computers active directory, go to view menu and make sure advanced options is checked on.

    Righ, the account assigned in AD-click and go to properties.

    2. make sure that this account is not member of the admistrators group by clicking on the tab, Member of if they follow this work around first.

    Right-click on the system container in AD, and then click Properties, click Advanced, click to select the allow permissions inheritable be propagated to this object and all children objects check box, click OK, and then click close

    3. Once you are finished with step above, do a right click on the user in AD and go to options and go to the Security tab and then click Advanced in the new window make sure besadmin is listed with shipment under permission.

    -If it is not listed and youassigned "send as" rights besadmin on the domain level, you can just put the box on-"allow permissions inheritable to propagate permissions from the parent to the child." Manually assign other wise send as rights to besadmin.

    Wait exch replicate permisisons for 20 minutes to 2 hours (according to exch how long it takes to replicate permissions) and then try to send e-mail to the device (turn off devices for 2 hrs or do not send e-mail device for 2 hrs)

    ethosb is correct, and if you still have problems that maybe it's because you've hidden your main message folder.  In the home screen, press the BB Menu key and select this option to display everything.  You should then be able to find the folder with the message of PIN code for your friend.

    I have the 8330 model.  It's something that I just started to notice.  I might e-mail or a SMS in my mailbox on the handset but the red LED does not blink or I could see it flashing but not able to get him right this second and when I go to check what came in the LED blink more until I push the trackball.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones where can I find the Media Manager for my office?

    OK I just looked at my records that I received with my BB Storm the other day.  It's the 9530.  There is only the VCast & BB media sync, but the button for Media Manager does not work... I watched the disc and there no Media Manager... now what?  I am running Windows Vista Premium Home OS, and I have the Desktop Manager 4.7 version.  Where the hell is the Media Manager and since I can't find it, y at - it a downloadable version of it somewhere on the net?  Please HELP I am ready to pull my hair!

    I had to talk to the reps to Blackberry and apparently some discs did NOT have the media for a reason Manager any.  The option was left aside.

    After much frustration, I finally got my answer.

    Format your card of media phones first, it on your phone.  Once done you will have a folder on your computer, when the phone is plugged into the computer, which said device BLACKBERRY and BLACKBERRY Media Card.  You can simply drag and drop into specified folders (for me it was the videos).

    If you already have a converter media it is the perfect way to do it and the video should be MP4 (at least that's all so far, I have converted)

    For the Media Manager, go here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ but make sure you that you have uninstalled the Manager of the desktop of your computer first, and then re - install using the download from the link above.  I did it and it works fine now.

    FYI - the Roxio is slower than the second coming during the conversion.  First use the reformat your phone option, and then use roxio if you do not have a Media Converter.  There are other media there converters that are much faster.  I have one for my Zune that allows to convert a movie in about 20 minutes or more and then it's in the right format for the phone.

    Ok. Here's what I would try...

    If you use a legacy BBOS model, remove the battery from the power, wait 30 seconds, put the battery back and try again. If you use a model BB10, try a soft reset first. There are two ways to do a soft reset and if the first doesn't work try the other method. If the soft reset does not work, and if you have a removable battery, then remove the battery for a few minutes and then try again.

    First check, open the main menu, press the menu key and select just check "Display all icons" if she is not there. Otherwise, go to your BlackBerry browser and go to http://mobile.blackberry.com and select "Visit BlackBerry App World" here to try to make a download of the app, it should redirect you to the application on the phone.     Firstly - as your official support channel and the provider of the BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) for you, really I'm surprised that your operator you can provide no support or the resolution. They actually manage the BIS system and your BIS account... then they should certainly be able to solve this problem.

    Indeed - I think they should... of what you describe, something weird happens. I do not know what that (I have a suspicion, but I don't like what I suspect), but only your carrier can investigate the "behind the scenes" to see what is happening. In addition, if they cannot understand, they have the ability to climb to the RIM base for assistance... here in these forums, this can't happen.

    I suggest contact you your carrier and do not forget to press on for climbing. Anything happens, they need to solve.

    PS - my "suspicion" at the top, it's that something about the supply of your BIS account got confused with another user/BB on your network of carriers. If so, then they should completely remove the two BIS accounts and recreate from scratch. But, once again, that cannot be done within their system... in which they alone can access.

    I recently did an update on the applications and I restarted my phone (as they usually do), which was yesterday or the day before. However only today, I realized that I can't BBM or App World.     This answer applies to these two posters above.

    Connect your phone to your PC via the USB port.  Open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Click device in up and restoration in the menu dropdown.  (If you did no backup, go to the next paragraph).  Choose the most recent backup file, making sure that it is checked and click on restore or OK or anything that is the command prompt.  This should restore everything on your phone correctly.

    If you did a backup on your phone, open Desktop software, click device up and update the menu drop down.  They tell you your phone is updated (if it doesn't, choose the update if you wish.  Otherwise, go to my sense).  In this box, you'll see other Versions.  Click on that and make sure that your current version, probably the one on the top of the list, is checked.  Click Update and wait outside.  All icons and programs must be restored to your phone.
