• Photoshop & AfterEffects CC (2014) refuse to update

  Hi all

  I have a strange problem with my account a few days ago, an update appeared in CC for Photoshop and AfterEffects. When I tried to update as usual since the Cloud creative application, updates failed both, citing an error code U43M1D204 ("download appears corrupted").

  At this point, I started to follow the suggestions of the community and does the following:

  1. Delete the contents of ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0, restarted CC, restarted the computer, etc. - no difference
  2. Uninstalled Photoshop and AfterEffects, and then re-installed. They both gave a message saying that the installation had been completed but that a fix has failed, and subsequently, I received the guests even update which failed with the same error code
  3. Attempted to manually run updates of each app (help > updates...), both of which failed with the same error code

  At least, the last step has revealed that the problem is Camera Raw 8, which has a Camera Raw 9.0 update. Knowing that, I tried to manually install the latest version of Camera Raw (8 and 9), but even after that, and reset, cloud creative and Photoshop/AfterEffects claim that they need to update, and of course these updates aren't always.

  To make things even more interesting, the same problem is present on my machine under the second license, not just this one. Both are Macs, Yosemite (10.10.3) running. One is an iMac, and one is a Mac Pro 3.1.

  Anyone else encounter this? Is there another place that update data being downloaded I can delete to force it to try to download again? Is there another solution? Would appreciate any assistance.

  By performing these steps solved the problem (basically, I had to manually provide the download CameraRaw CC).

  I have a Sony RX100 and 5.7 LR matter files ARW ok, however I just bought an A7 Mk2 and Lightroom will not import this camera ARW files. I downloaded CameraRaw 8 so I can convert the files first and then import into LR, but it seems strange that I can't import and convert from LR itself from the inside.

  Hey, I'm unable to install the Camera Raw plug, and I'm unable to edit raw images using photoshop (which is a big hassle, I should be able to do this for work)

  I downloaded the installer from adobe Web site CameraRaw_9_6_1.exe. I ran the installer, but I can't always open the CR2 files in Photoshop.

  I use Photoshop CS6

  The camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T6 (minimum version for camera raw was 9.5 on the adobe Web site).

  I use windows 8.1 x 64

  Things I've tried so far;

  -Ran the installation program several times. No luck

  -Restart the computer after you run the Setup program. Nada

  -Removed common files as version 7 CameraRaw was still appear every time I checked the plug after installation. Taking actually does not show even now.

  Seriously, I am at a loss. Any help or advice, or even a link to a plug-in I can simply copy and drop

  Camera raw support for CS6 ended with version 9.1.1.

  CS6 is several years old and will not receive any updates more.

  You can download the free DNG Converter here: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows and allows to convert your DNG files raw files that can be read by CS6.

  Another option is to subscribe to the plan of creative photography of cloud, which gives you the latest versions of Photoshop and Lightroom for $10 per month.

  From photoshop elements on windows vista can only use up to camera raw 8.3 and I believe that the updater for pse 12 will be automatically updated on vista, a manual of installation

  Camera Raw is a plug-in. All you have to do is to delete. Photoshop CS6 can use up to Camera Raw 9.1. If your camera is new and not supported in this version, then you have two choices. You will need to upgrade Photoshop or Lightroom has purchased. Or, you can download the latest DNG Converter and use it to create copies DNG that you can use with Camera Raw 9.1.

• Cannot get CameraRaw 8.7 installed in Windows 7 Lightroom 5

  Purchased a Canon 7 d Mark II to my wife for Christmas. Don't want her to be able to download the photos she takes, but can not get CameraRaw 8.7 to install.  I've updated to Lightroom 5.7.  Lightroom updated very well, but I downloaded the plugin installation package twice and every time it says it installs but then I can not always open raw images, I've tried.  I have a physical copy of Lightroom 5 not rent monthly one (I know if that matters).  The card does not appear in the master in the Manager section at all.  Lightroom has said that it is up-to-date.  Information system for 5.7 5.7 says just isn't and not 5.7.1 but clicking on update says I have the latest update installed.  Spent the last 2 hours doing cela...  Hoping that it is just something stupid on my part.

  OH, I'm a fool...  I'm not the photographer.  I can be the tech support person.  I just realized perhaps I should try to import photos instead of just double click on them and it worked.  Thanks for your help though.  Wish I could get the last 2 hours...  Time for a beer.  Cheers mate.

• CameraRaw is not updated in CC Photoshop and Photoshop CC 2014. The active version is always 8.3, 8.5 is available. MAO and CC App say out loud - to.date.

  On my PC Windows 7 (x 64), I have Photoshop CC and since this morning Photoshop CC 2014. If I open a RAW or DNG file in one of them, CameraRaw version 8.3 opens. When I search the updates via help-> updates, no updates are found. The application of creative cloud displays no update as well (all day).

  For Photoshop CS6 (installed in parallel, local license, no cloud version) I got an update to 8.5 CameraRaw today. And it works in this old version.

  Already tried to download the manual update of keeping up to date of Photoshop. However, Setup fails with "update failed. Updates could not be installed".

  How can I make CameraRaw 8.5 available for CC / CC 2014 as well?

  Solved! Found another post in this forum that gave me some useful advice. You need to download Camera Raw 8.5 manually.

  The Installer did not work, so I only unzipped the file. You can find the plugins from Camera Raw in the subdirectories:

  32-bit version:

  -> payloads/AdobeCameraRaw8.0All-050614141453/Assets1_1.zip

  check out the "1003" file and rename it to "Camera Raw.8bi.

  copy to c:/Program Files (x 86) / Common/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/File Formats/CameraRaw.8bi (previous CameraRaw is replaced, you must copy the older version of a record first place)

  64-bit version:

  check out the "1002" file and rename it to "Camera Raw.8bi.

  Just try to Photoshop CS5 update and a window pops up saying to close Photoshop, but it is not open.  The whole reason I do it is because I got a new camera and does not open the raw files in CameraRaw.
