  As much as you cannot believe that it is a problem, it is indeed a problem. The reason that the application overview of Mac OS is so light and fast is that she is not completely and correctly implement the complete PDF language specification. Preview is OK, open the simple PDF files made from simple Word documents, e-mails, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, but it often miserably fails on all that is graphically rich with significant amounts of and/or complex live transparency.   Note that PDF is a fully documented ISO standard. It is not a question of not having Apple does not have access to the PDF language specification or having to reverse engineer any technology. At this point, Apple seems to believe that his product preview is good enough for the majority of its customers.

  Note that the preview for iPhone and iPad iOS version is even more problematic than the MacOS version!

  For example, in the technical information, you can select coherence Documentation, then Guide the developer, then 'View PDF' option on the top right corner to the PDF version of the manual.

I click on a link to a book, then on the page following, I get my email address, then I get an email confirming my registration, by which I can get an e-mail newsletter every day with a new password to download e-books.   For a minute there, I thought that this site was a kind of lure because on the page "to subscribe/instructions", where I get my e-mail, there are 2 jpeg images that resemble password fields and links, but they are not... I'm not sure of what those who are for.
  This mintywhite.com seems to be quite the site for amateurs and Windows technicians.

  Images II 7 d would be directly supported in Photoshop CS5 as requiring a new camera raw.

  So, you must download the free DNG Converter to convert these images to DNG and then open the DNG converted in Photoshop.

  It doesn't look like Camera Raw 9.1 is compatible with Photoshop elements 13. But you can download the 9.1 DNG Converter and create DNG copies that work with Photoshop Elements.

  Unfortunately, this is not a solution. Acrobat DC Standard is not available for Mac. If we look at Acrobat Pro DC, it requires Mac OS 10.9 or higher. Adobe essentially do not sell you anything of any utility on Mac OS 10.6.8. Older versions are simply abandoned.

  That said, I think you can still get basic PDF files. Here are two important things you don't know.

  1. the pages of a PDF document are not a special PDF do app. They are manufactured in any app you would use to make a printed page, as a Word for example. Acrobat allows a conversion, adding interactivity, management of files, make shapes, all sorts of things.

  2 mac OS, even the old version, you, includes PDF making integrated. Make you a page and go to print. Then you will see options for the PDF in the screenshot. They can also be fantasies than those made with Acrobat, but should suffice for a resume, letters, etc.
