  • Software download of Windows Support problem

    Hello

Im getting a little frustrated here since I tried to install several times now. After you download the windows files, I'm invited to download the support software. When that ends the next thing appears.

I don't understand what it means by 'this' because I already downloaded it and I have no options other than to stop smoking.

What I am doing wrong? I appreciate the help

You are supposed to install Windows. Downloaded files can be installed once Windows has been implemented.

  • Navigate Vista through Windows Explorer.

When navigating in Windows Explorer and using the "back" icon, Explorer takes back me to the previous page, BUT the file that I was in is now at the bottom of the pane, instead of whatever point I've been to before (top of the pane, middle, Wherever). When I go to a folder that is maddening, because I always use the made keys scroll to see the files under. This has bothered me for years and my work is considerably slowed. If you jump back and forth between a list of files and the content of each individual file, shouldn't default Explorer to return to exactly your last position in the pane until you have entered into a folder?

  • Photos download of Windows Vista problem

I'm having a problem with uploading photos to my Dell Inspiron 531 that is running Windows Vista. I am taking perfectly good photos with my Canon Coolpix S4100 and downloading for photos with one cable from the camera to the computer. Shortly after they are downloaded, maybe a second or so, they distort: high contrast, low light, 3D effect, shadow. The photos are jpeg, and happens whenever I have download on this computer. They are very good when I download them to my laptop which has Windows Vista. I am only display photos directly via the photos and that is when there are distorted. I also use 3D inspection program and the photos are mixed in there also like in the photos. Any help?

Might be interesting to try to update your video driver... check
the site of Dell support for an update for your model.

If this is not the solution... it could be caused by a color profile.

  • File through Internet Explorer problem

A few days ago, a new file appeared on my computer, it must be some kind of scam because it's something that I'm not subscribed to a Bill. I tried to remove it, but every time I turn the computer back on the next day and connect to internet it returns. It has a shortcut on my desktop and when I go into properties says THST it is the target location is the internet.

Anyone know how I can permanently delete this file from my computer? Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you.

  • Copying files to target RT using Windows Explorer through FTP connection

I frequently transfer files from my cRIO to my desktop PC via a connection FTP through Windows Explorer.  This method works well most of the time.  However, if the file on the cRIO changes and I try to copy it again into my desktop PC, the old file is pasted to my office.  I remember seeing the solution to this in the past (a browser setting or something) but for the life of me, I can't find this thread.  At this point the only solution I know is to rename the file on the cRIO and then perform the transfer.

Does anyone know how to force Windows Explorer to recognize and copy only the most?

    Thank you

    Jeff

Don't know if this setting also effects Windows Explorer but it should work in Internet Explorer.

Change the cache forever setting search content updated at every visit to the page. To do this, click on Internet Options in the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click settings on the general tab, click every visit to the page, and then click OK. For FTP, this forces the content to be downloaded again as a new copy rather than chosen in the cache.

    ===========================================

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above
It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.
