Draw text within the rectangle in OpenGL

I want to draw text in a rectangle and I also need to make sure that the text does not go beyond the limit. Can someone give me some idea/advice for this problem in OpenGL?

  • How can I make the image that is within the rectangle to move?

    Hi, I'm doing a Web page with muse and I found the Coffee pastries Katie page. There are some pictures in the home pages this movement inside the form when I scroll the page. Could someone please tell me that how can I make the image that is within the rectangle to move?  Thank you very much

    You can apply the scroll to fill the picture or the rectangle itself if you are referring to scrolling rectangle on the page.

  • Draw text on the graphic waveform Plot

    I need to understand how to draw text on a waveform graph during execution. This could be a text box, a picture of the text, a label and an additional plot with text... etc.

    Yes, I know a graph would be better than this, but need to use a graphic for my application.

    The graph is updated every second, and new data are added to the history of the ranking. (Which means that the chart bigger every second) So if I draw the text above or behind the table, I'll have to update their location every second. I'll have to use card to XY Coords in an event, (mousedown or mouseup) to place the text (or image of the text) in the field where the user clicked.

    Step 1 to resolve this problem is to find first class, learn how to draw or text on the plot of the graph area.

    Does anyone have ideas of how this could be accomplished, or some ideas of a sneaky work around to make this work?

    Example:

    Unfortunately, graphics (graphic and graphic waveform XY) have support Annotation and slider, exposed programmatically through properties, but the array of waveform is not.

    What you could do is to place an indicator of 2D image that corresponds to the size of the chart above.  Make the value of the image that you draw be transparent and just print the text with transparent backgrounds.  However, I do not know the considerations on the performance of it - many times user interface elements, overlap (portions of even transparent) can cause problems of performance due to forcing redesigns... then again maybe a graph is always be redrawn in any case.

  • definition of text within the specific Web div object

    Hello!  I am trying to find a way to take the text of a text caption and assign it to a specific div inside a Web object.

    I tested it with a site regular html with embedded iframe and it works fine, but with Captivate, I can't get the text to a web object.

    The WebObject is named CC_box and inside, there is a div tag with an id of 'text' - this is where the text should go.  The text caption containing the text is named CC_source_1 for the first slide, then CC_source_2 for the next, etc.

    Here is my code:

    var slideNumber = window.cpAPIInterface.getCurrentSlideIndex ();                                Gets the number of the current slide

    var ccText = document.getElementById("CC_source_"_+_slideNumber).textContent;     Retrieves the text of a legend of text on a page in progress - works fine

    $("#CC_box).contents ().find("#text").html (ccText);                                                          This line of code works perfectly in HTML, but not in Captivate

    What is a good way to access this div within the web object of Captivate?

    Thank you!

    Thank you, I'll try that!

    in the meantime I kept trying different things here and found that if I go 'deeper' and call iframe directly as opposed to a container div, everything works, so in this case the following worked:

    $("#myFrame_CC_boxc").contents ().find("#text").html (ccText);

    Interestingly, Captivate attached a 'c' at the end of the name of the div, so even if I named the CC_box of Web object, we call it actually CC_boxc if you look in the DOM Explorer

  • Blocks of text within the illustration/container management

    Hello

    One of the things I do most often, as a technical writer, creates frameworks anchored including an illustration, some blocks of text and a few lines that connect them. Import into FrameMaker, a related illustration (or create a frame and import is the illustration), resize the frame surrounding the illustration, and then create blocks of text inside frame illustraton to include captions.

    I would reach the same goal in InDesign CS5, but have yet to understand what is the right way.

    First of all, I assume that the equivalent of "Below the current line" anchored frames, ID, is a framework inserted, that must be repositioned vertically.

    But then, after that I placed a picture in there, I don't know how to add text blocks that remain fixed within the frame of the illustration (the framework 'container', I would call it). It seems to me that any item, other than the illustration cannot be included within this framework 'container '.

    Any suggestion on the other how it would be welcome.

    Best regards

    Paolo

    You'll want to make your artwork and blocks of text as separate objects, and then group them before pasting in the text stream to anchor the group.

  • Impossible to vertically Center the text in the rectangle with rounded corners

    Hi, I use InDesign CS4 on my Mac.  I want to confirm if it is possible or not to Center vertically the text in a rectangle rounded.  So far, it seems that if I change the corner on a rectangle options, InDesign will change the vertical justification to the top of the alignment page.

    Someone else has done this successfully?  Thank you!

    You need to change the inset to match or exceed the rounding RADIUS.

    Select the rectangle and then from the menu bar > Arrange > Send backward. Or select the rectangle and press F6.

    I hope this helps.

  • Floating text within the text

    QUESTION: What is the best way to float a box of text within a paragraph of text, such as the floating text does not appear at the top of the paragraph containing?

    BACKGROUND

    (1) I know not how how to float an image captioned with a < p > tag floating at the top of a paragraph (see http://homepage.mac.com/moogoonghwa/practice/CSS/floatedImageInParagraph.html), and

    (2) I know how to float a letter inside a < span > or semantic HTML tag at the top of a paragraph of text (see http://homepage.mac.com/moogoonghwa/practice/CSS/firstLetterOfParagraph.html).

    This time, I want to float a paragraph of text inside another paragraph of the text so that it does not appear at the top of the paragraph. I examined three possibilities:

    The < span > tag
    This option seems preferable, because it is online, and the floating text always appears at the same place in the container < p > tag. I fear, however, that this approach would limit the ways in which I could put in the form the text inside the < span > tag, I could put a tag < p > in a < span > tag, for example? If I remember correctly, the answer is no.

    The < p > tag
    Using the < p > ensure that floating text always appears in the same place in the flow of the document. It would also format text "embedded" in a variety of ways. Unfortunately, it would necessarily be split the paragraph containing two paragraphs.

    The < div > tag
    Although this tag may organize the text incorporated in anyway that I wanted, I fear that this would cause disturbances in the paragraph that contains text similar to that of an inserted [p] tag.

  • Find and move text within the existing framework of anchored

    I have a great story that spans several pages text. It contains a number of paragraphs that have the following content:

    [empty anchor for an existing character, but the anchor text frame] [important book that contains NO tab] [TAB] [intermediate text containing NO tab] [TAB] [end text containing NO tab] [empty anchor for an another existing character, but the block of anchor text]

    I need a script (Javascript, preferably) that:

    1. find a paragraph that starts with a character of anchor;

    2. find and cut the main text between the character of the anchor and the first TAB after

    3. Paste the main text in text anchored at the beginning of the paragraph;

    4. in the same paragraph, find the final text between the second (and last) TAB and the character of the second (and last) anchor at the end of the paragraph;

    5. glue the final text under text anchored at the end of the paragraph;

    6. repeat 1. -5. for the paragraph all in the same article that starts with a character of the anchor.

    I'm a JS programmer advanced, but new scripts CreativeSuite. I just understood how to search for some text, and I know that the 'parent' of an anchored object is a 'character' - but now to I access the contents of an object anchored to its parent character?

    Even better:

    function movetoanchored(find) {
      var myText = find.characters.itemByRange(1, -1).texts[0];
      var myFrame = find.characters[0].textFrames[0];
      myText.move(LocationOptions.AT_BEGINNING, myFrame);
    };

    function main() {
      var myStory = app.selection[0].parentStory;
      app.findGrepPreferences = app.changeGrepPreferences = null;
      app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "^~a\\S+";
      var myFinds = myStory.findGrep(true);
      for (i = 0; i < myFinds.length; i++) movetoanchored(myFinds[i]);
      Window.alert(myFinds.length + " moves performed");
    };

    app.doScript(main, ScriptLanguage.JAVASCRIPT, undefined, UndoModes.ENTIRE_SCRIPT, "MoveToAnchored");

  • RH8: Centering table page Centers text within the page

    I have a webhelp imported from MS word with plenty of tables. I used a table style to set up tables in word format.

    What I want: table centered on the page. Text inside the left-aligned table.

    What I get previews and webhelp output: Table centered on the page. Text inside table centered in the table

    (In the editor of HR, the table looks at how I want it with the table centered and text aligned to the left)

    I tried setting the text on the normal style, but has done nothing.

    I know I can manually edit the HTML code, but I don't have the time to do it.

  • Draw text on the XY graph

    Hello

    There is a technique to draw a text note on graph XY.

    For example the text "AAAAAA" put near the upper left of the XY graph.

    Thank you.

    Previous version is wrong: this only works if an annotation already exists on the chart.

    If no annotation it does not work.

    Here is the solution for the empty graph:

  • Is it possible to add text to the rectangles and eliipses onboard animate?

    I use edge animate 2015 and it is more than a drawback not being able to add text directly to a rectangle or ellipse without super establishing a text box on the top. Is there a way around it?

    You must select the step, and then you will get the compositionReady option as Joel shows above. Not you item itself.

  • Search for text within the range of specific pages

    Hi all

    I have a pdf document that is 1000 + pages long. I wonder if there is a way to search for certain words in a certain amount of pages; for example, if I wanted to find the term "heart", but only in pages 560-600. Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you very much!

    This option is not available. If you do a Ctrl + F, click on the arrow pointing downwards in the search window and choose "open research to drive full" then "Show more options", you will see all the options available.
