  Hi Chris,

  You can create your own component with only pins and layer information 3D-Info (no form of screen printing info, maybe some text).

  To do that follow these steps for guidance (I might be missing something in the Middle, but this should give you an idea):

  -Go to Tools/Database / Manager

  -Create new part of PCB to the title of the user database

  -This will open a new page in the print. In there, include all your (place/pins) and 2-d shapes IN THE layer of "3D-Info Top.

  -In the 2D shape properties (that you just inserted), you can go to the data tab 3D and add offset heights and create 3D shapes

  -Once you have finished go to file/save in the database as

  -In your original project, you can include this part and should not give you errors DRC if placed correctly, to switch to the 3D course view and take a look

• Many bogus netlist MS/UB 11 errors are produced

  I'm all kinds of false netlist errors in UB11.

  It is not the problem here:

  Is missing pins that do not yet exist on the track that is pin 11 to a size of 10 pin or pins which are actually missing.  He seems to think that some pine shouuld be connected to two different networks.

  What is going on?  DRC error report is attached.

  • See the list of components in the
    netlist Editor (Tools > editor of Netlist). It is a comprehensive
    research and would take a long time if you have a large design.
  • If
    you know the name of the faulty nets and components, export of the
    netlist to a file (transfer > back annotate to Multisim > return)
    annotate the file), open it in your favorite text editor and look for
    the offending items.

  The first suggestion might work, but a real pain as mentioned.

  The second not because the party in question does not appear in the file exported from BA.

  Here is the best solution (except NEITHER solved the bug):

  • Place a piece with lots of pine trees and the label "U13", or whatever is the refdes.
  • examine the pins and see one that shows the connection in the ratsnet.
  • Look at the net name
  • Open the netlist editor and go to the net and remove the offending axis.
  
  Worked very well.   If the part you place didn't have enough pins for one of them to be the offending pin number, you won't see the bad connection.

• Ultiboard 11.0.1 questions

  Hi people,

  I use the evaluation version of CD 11.0.1 and I encountered some problems. I don't know if they are my defects or bugs so I would ask some experts. This topic may be useful to others raise similar issues.

  The main problem is when I try to connect the pads of TQFP-48 case I can't do or get the DRC errors. I have attached the file.

  There is a small problem I found. If you switch to the 3D view, you find an error in rendering on the pins of TQFP-48 packages. It only occurs when you place the package to the opposite side of the Board.

• layer sequence

  Hello

  I need a way to indicate the sequence of layer on my circuit printed 4 layers.
  

  The idea is on each layer, the layer number must be placed.
  Top layer is 1, 1 = 2 inside, inside 2 = 3 and low = 4...
  Now, I wish it were a little different from the image (it's like that now). Changes:
  -Number 2 should be cut off the number, not a box and the number copper. The number must be just the material green PCB.
  -about number 3 and 4 should not be the mass of the layer 2 (inside 1) plan. With keep it out, it works, except for the mistakes of the DRC (just ignore it or?)

  Can you share a sample project from what you currently have? (you can remove components "not shared")

  If I understand correctly, you have 4 layers?

  1 top = copper

  2 internal copper = 1

  3 = 2 inside copper

  4 = background copper

  Based on the explanation, is not 100% clear how it should look.

  (2) copper should go up to the border of the Dungeon on the area that you want to have a '2' cut.

  So it would come down to the creation of a Dungeon on the subject (i.e. the number 2) in a copper plan, right?

  3 and 4), it may indeed give DRC errors.
  The error message say?

• MS/UB 12.0.1: Where it begins execution of customs clearance?

  I just transferred a design of MS at the UB and received DRC errors such as net x too close to the net y and so on.

  The list of nets for UB spreadsheet showed a variety of set of permissions.  Some were zero, others were great that the value of clearance I had put in place in the design of Board rules before transfer.  This makes me think that something MS must be conducted on these values.

  When I return to the SP and look at the view of worksheet for components, I don't see share spacing.  Worksheet for the threads view shows many possible settings, but they are all empty.
  

  Source these values of game?  Inheret doing MS in the footprint of the parts selected at schematic entry?

  Is there a dialog of entry design rules given in MS that would allow me to drive these values?

  It seems unnecessary to configure for a UB PCB design rules, and then transfer a schematic drawing to UB and substitution of the transferred data PCB design rules.  That retrograde design rules to be some parameters.  I think when I work with design rules, I describe all restrictions on how I want the PCBS turn UB, including restrictions necessary for the PCB properly turn the FAB home, regardless of data from schematic entry.  A design rule cannot afford to be so soft as to be changed by one source other than manipulate me the design of a dialogue of design rules rule.  A DRC error should indicate at a time that the values of the imported netlist are not in accordance with the rules of PCB design, or something like.

  Well I might not be entirely understand your question, but I'll try to answer what I think you're asking. All permission settings that you can add in Multisim (those spreadsheet viewer) have a default in Ultiboard is generally the maximum parameter or the default size (so a width maximum default trace will be the largest size available in Ultiboard, while that a min will be as short as possible - constraints of width will be the default size - 10 mils). If these fields are filled with Multisim, then they must replace the default values of Ultiboard during the transmission of your design. As the releases of the component, it can be defined in Multisim, only in Ultiboard (in the properties of the component), however, you can set all permissions for the nets.

  Regarding the transfer and annotation, when you forward or backward annotate to and since then, the pop-up dialog box that asks you if changes are ok will inform you of any change in distances in the air to allow you all to ignore them or attribute changes to specific threads.

• How to disable the DRC in Ultiboard 12.0.1 error dialog box you?

  Whenever I move a part anywhere on the design, this dialog box appears saying "this action will result in errors DRC do you want to continue?". I know that there are parts that overlap on the design, but I would like to go about my business without being disturbed by this message of nuisance. How can I disable it?    Thank you.

  To resolve this issue, go to the Options > global preferences. Go to the tab design of PCB. There is a drop-down list in front of when an action causes an error in DRC:. Change to remove the error and continue. Click OK. Now you need not be invited for a confirmation e-mail.

• DRC RDWC & between XP and W7 NLA error.

  I can connect remotely from XP to W7 in the DRC without any problem at all; However, I can't do the same thing by RDWC due level of network authentication error. CredSSP keys are properly configured as suggested by MS and the setting on W7 to accept an incoming request is ok; so that could be the problem and how I can solve this problem. ?

  The first time when I try to do a ROC I got error NAL, I corrected the CredSSP registry key and then problem had disappeared. After that I installed IIS 6.0 and I couldn't even present a RDWC using the same parameter in the DRC Idid.

  Hello-

  We also received this error message after the deployment of patches to the PC.  We have had several reports of the issue and reduced the fix for the problem.  The issue seems to be caused by 2956283 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2956283/en-us).  We uninstalled the patch and IE11 started working again without problem.

  So far, we see only this on Windows 7/IE11 machines and Windows 8.1 does not appear to be the problem.  The behavior that we see is that IE does not open even when we receive this error message, nor can you access Internet properties via Control Panel, or trying to start running inetcpl.cpl.

  MS will be able to fix this patch or to determine what is the cause?

  Try to get itunes working to make a backup of my faulty iphone before repair.

  First-itunes does not start says error. I'm trying to fix it, who said success but same error when you try to start it.

  Then uninstall completely worked. Then reinstall that seemed to be over except for a message "an older version of Apple software update already exists" then he went down and install itunes apparently had not been completed.

  Hi, I searched some forums and found this script below which I modified. It works great except for a single statement:

  runScript If = 1 then number error -128 I want the script to do is, when a USB drive is mounted and is in the ignoredVolumes as "USB Untitled" I want the script to stop. What I can't understand is, runScript is set to 1, "Untitled USB" Monte, runScript is not changed, why don't the script stops with an error "user cancelled"? On the other hand, if a key USB Monte is not in the ignoredVolumes, runScript is set to 2 and copy the file I want it. What hurts? It's probably something that will be very obvious when I see the answer.
