• Multisim for transfer Ultiboard Glitch

  Hello

  We have made many PCBS using Multisim as our software for schematic capture and Ultiboard for layout. The last room back does not work because the netlist in the schema is incompatible with the netlist in the provision of one piece (which is used several times on the map). Not only all the pins are reversed, but one of the pins is quite non-connected. Since the 8 pins are connected to the schematic side, this clearly isn't simply a matter of mixed up of PIN, but when I annotate with impatience, it is said that found no difference.

  I went through and double and triple checked the symbol, the footprint and mapping of the PIN, and everything is OK. As a witness, I created a new schema with nothing else that the part in question and transferred to Ultiboard, and everything was OK.

  Everyone knows about this problem before? This is a known bug and is there any workaround or recommended solution to avoid something like this happening in the future (outside routing by hand and without taking into account the ratsnest altogether).

  Please contact our support group.   You should not see this question in v11.0.   I'm not aware of the important issues with annotation front/rear, since we redesigned the annotation capability and improved reliability in v11.0 (from 10.1).

• Formate Ultiboard Enterprise support export Valor ODB ++?

  This question relates to the request of the House of PCB Fab I treat for an export format that works with their new Aegis 'CircuitCam"System. are there characteristics "additional export format" in the Enterprise of Ultiboard version?

  There is no 'Ultiboard Enterprise' version, so I'm not sure that you are trying to compare the versions, but there is no export ODB ++ to Ultiboard.

• Question of SDIO grounded in page/upgrade

  Hello

  I have two questions, that I need a little advice.

  (1) anyone know guidelines regarding available SDIO or examples that they can share? Having a hard time to find empirical rules and examples on the web. My circuit is the interface for line 4 and the processor has a driving force of 4mA. Processor manufacturer was no help (TI).

  (2) I have a Council which has a switching power supply and some digital circuits on the top layer. I was wondering if adding a copper ground pour over all was a good or bad idea. I saw this fact and I was wondering when it was applicable. I did some analog cards just to try it. When some of you use ground also pours on the top, so you just stick with vias along the end or throughout the casting?

  Any help or advice you have would be very much appreciated

  (1) I personally have no experience with SDIO interfaces for a processor - what is the interface that you use?   I just pay attention to the actual specifications on the chip and create the shorter paths to the connector as possible with minimal use of VIAs.   A good rule of thumb is to route traces high-speed digital or sensitive analog traces first.   If you want to configure the routing bus to keep the set traces, you can configure these in Ultiboard menu (Tools-> Group Editor).   Use Ctrl + B to start the bus line and click on each spindle starting you want to move the group.  Note that routing bus works best before other routing signals.

  (2) on the casting of land of up and down, I would say that "it depends."  If you plan to expose your design of a highly sensitive 'noisy' external environment (such as an AC source nearby or near the boards with noisy communication signals or otherwise) may be a good idea.  Essentially a mass of appropriate construction plan can act as a shield of "Farrady" and limit the effects of the noise on the inner layers (make sure you use the solder mask on it pour).  How many layers? -You can just put a single ground plane (or planes) on the inner layers?  You don't need to be careful for several reasons:

  (a) do not forget loops (especially a loop with a large confined area) can act as an antenna and so you can defeat the effectiveness of your grounded by an involuntary loop - which can make it worse still noise performance.  If external signals EM cross this 'loop' which will produce a plan of mass 'loud '.

  (b) if it is to Rev A. (and you don't have the luxury of doing a second room), there is the possibility that you will rework the Board in some way.   Extra copper on high-low can sometimes be annoying to work again (especially if it is hole fixing or other things to do).

  The best suggestion (if you have the luxury of doing a Rev B) is to go without the shield of copper on up/down (maybe just a plan beautiful land on an inner layer) and then determine whether the noise operation/performance is adequate.   If you feel you have a noise problem, you can experiment with experience and external shields (sheet steel is the best) If this will eliminate external noise.  If it does not help, then it may be appropriate to add the shield up and down (once again, 2 attention a above)...

• Ultiboard make printer laser method

  Hey guys im new to this program. I got a diagram, transferred to ultiboard, autoplaced and routed automatically. I have some problems. One I want to use the method to fabercating the real jury laser printer. When I'm putting my copper layer on the top not the bottem highway. How to fix this? And also I need to print a mirrored from the actual size of the copper layer. I couldn't find that. Sorry for asking here guys but I spent like 2 hours looking in the help file. Im a student in electronics and this is my first design of the card.

  Hey Kevin,

  It was the missing piece of information. Boards front has had problems and have been removed in the latest version to avoid problems such as this one. Of course, it is always possible to create them (it's just a two-face where it is not used).

  For your second question, you can change the shape of the cushion directly in Ultiboard.

  1. Make sure that the selection filter, Activate by selecting Pads and SMD by selecting activate Pads , are turned on (I don't know if this part is THT or SMD, so this covers both cases)
  2. Press the Select button, then click on Edit > properties (double click also works)
  3. You can change the form in the dialog box that displays on the tab of Pad . If it is a part of the THT, you will need to change the shape, on each layer of the Board of Directors.

  A last suggestion (dealing with nestor) is to make sure that everything is once you're done. You can do this by printing the Board with footprint of paper and making a Visual check of the part.

• Connections missing in ultiboard when transferred to multisim

  I made my design in Multisim, then transferred to Ultiboard.  Organized everything how I wanted and make small changes in the schema as needed.  All annotated before with no problems until today. All of my lights are not connected although the net are in the files of the Multisim and Ultiboard.  Highway runs, but still does not connect...

  Very frustrated, if someone could help, that would be appreciated.

  LEDs have a personalized footprint and I got map a symbol to a fingerprint brooch pin not in the database manager.  It must be something that shows an error if it does not occur if the user knows where the question is... in any case, it's very good of automatic routing now

  I have a couple of "faces" in the issue of people who are coming in white, but acknowledged same 'face' of many times.  Is anyway to update it for photo comes actually?  At a few faces, I don't know that facial recognition found since it is coming from white.

  Congratulations on your iPhone 7 more running iOS 10! I understand that some of your faces in the album of people pull up as a draft and you want to refresh. You can try to use the steps below to fix the faces on the thumbnails in albums.
  

  Difficulty faces and names mixed-up

  If you notice that there is a photo of someone in a collection that is poorly identified, you can remove it.

  1. Tap the person you want to remove in the album of people > select.
  2. Type Show done face to emphasize his face in every photo.
  3. Press on each photo that is not the person.
  4. Type > not this person.

  You can hide the people or groups that you don't want in your album of people.

• Question of cloning for SSD upgrade on 12 Macbook Pro

  Previously, I did an upgrade to SSD on my Macbook Air to 2012 according to the instructions of JetDrive transcend. Basically connection via USB 3 and using Mac OS X to clear (and format) disc utilities new SSD, then restore again SSD and then remove the original 128 GB SSD and insert the new 480 GB SSD.  For about a month and so far without problem.

  Now I'm trying to 2012 Macbook upgrade my Pro partner (on 10.11.6).  I got a Crucial SSD MX300 to replace his HARD drive.  Crucial comes with (or recommend) Acronis software.  And a lot of the messages of the forum recommend Carbon Copy Clone.

  My question is if I can use the same method for the cloning of the HD as my Macbook Air (just restore disk of Mac OS X utilities)?  This time, I'm upgrading HARD drive and I don't know if something is different.  At the same time, if I got lucky the first time, I don't not ruin Macbook Pro my spouse this time.

  Yes, you can use disk utility to clone your MBP wives, but unlike CCC, it will not clone the recovery and Partition.

• Question about resolution movie downloads

  If I buy a movie at a certain resolution (780p for example), but I want more later re - download at a higher or lower resolution (SD or 1080 p), can I do so and how?

  Same question perhaps for music. Some of my songs have been bought before the latest Apple codecs.

  Once you have made a purchase on the iTunes store, you will see your purchased items in the menu under accounts bar > bought. You can simply select the item purchased and re-upload.

• Bootcamp Windows 10 question

  Hi all

  Stumbled upon a problem, try to install Windows 10 an end 2014 27' iMac w/retina education runs Yosemite 10.10.5. Bootcamp is V 5.1.4. 32 GB, 3.5 ghz Intel I5. Disk of 1 TB of Fusion. Before you try this, I read the guide of Bootcamp to install windows, but also a number of other tutorials and forum messages about potential problems. This research, I learned that for EDU edition you must change the name of the file from Win10_1607_Education_English_x64.iso to Win10_1607_English_x64.iso. Apparently to have the former name of the file may cause OS X to not recognize the ISO. That fact I started Bootcamp, waited while the software downloaded and created a bootable USB key and partitioned my drive giving Windows 70 GB of space. After that, I got the message that my computer is restarts. Upon restarting, I got the black screen with the blue Windows logo and a spinning loading animation. After a few minutes, a blue screen with a message "Windows has encountered and error with computer and must restart," or something similar. He was pretty quick, so maybe it's not word for Word, but it was not a helpful post in terms of saying something specific. When the computer reboots, I am sent directly to OS X, though a bit slower than normal. I tried to restart with the flash drive to see if the installer would start up, no dice. Try now the Option key at startup, the flash player is not available. Went into my settings to see if I could change my startup on Win disk install USB, no luck it no more.

  Now for the question: How can I get the Windows installation again? What I have to start the process, and if so, what should I use Bootcamp to delete the partition that was created? I have re-run Bootcamp and the only option that is checked is the partition and start and install/uninstall windows and delete the partition.

  If you use a USB drive, not a USB flash drive, you will have problems. It is recommended to use a 8-16 GB USB2 flash drive.

  If the installation program is located on a USB Flash drive, stop your Mac, connect the USB key, restart and hold down the alt/option key and select the Windows icon in the USB port. This installs Windows in BIOS mode. If you click the start EFI icon, it will install using the EFI mode (faster). You may need to change the partition from MBR to GPT using GPT Fdisk.

  I deleted my Yahoo account last week, but I've heard that the 500 million Yahoo accounts were hacked in 2014. I made my account in 2015. Im sure it is hacked since I made my account a year after the supposed hack, but if my account has been hacked and I deleted which would be safe?

  If your account did not exist in 2014, then it is has not been hacked. Removal of the guarantees it will not be new since there was more pirate. Normally, at least the hackers got access to more information in the narrative, as credit card numbers, change your Yahoo password would have sufficed.
