Dreamweaver crashes immediately after launch

CS5.5, installed soon as the product has been released. Has worked for 6 months without problem. It is installed as part of the Master Collection.

First, it would yield an error after the short period of time on the start screen, saying that the MMDocumentTypes.xml file was missing or damaged. The file seems ok, as well in the directory C:\Program Files (x 86 \Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5\configuration\DocumentTypes) and in the \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\DocumentTypes C:\Users\ < username > directory.

I uninstalled and re-installed Dreamweaver. The problem remains.

I deleted the file C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\DocumentTypes directory.

Now, the splash gets up and hangs. The only significant info in the log of Crash of Dreamweaver's '' Code of Exception 0xE06D7363 ''. This seems to be an error code of VC ++, but I could not find what caused anywhere on the Internet.

What should I do next to debug this problem?

Thank you

David

What OS?  All I can tell from your statement is an operating system 64-bit Windows (C: = Windows, x 86 folder = Win 64-bit OS).

The following article will tell you how to re-create the user configuration folder.  You can't just delete a file or find yourself in trouble where DW think files are missing.  Only, he recreates the folder if all that she believes looking disappeared.  See the following article:

  • Firefox crashes immediately after launch

Help, please. Firefox crashes after launch after 5-10 seconds consistently every time. I tried things: refreshing Firefox from FF SafeMode (I don't have anyway all extensions), reinstall a new copy of Firefox, regenerating the restart, profile scanned for malware using malwarebytes, search for viruses using Kaspersky, both find nothing and done about everything I can think of and still EVERY time usually 5 seconds after launch It sometimes blocks something like 30 seconds if I'm lucky.

Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me crazy. I have provided the codes below. Thank you very much!

Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

  • Photoshop elements Adobe 12 crashes immediately after that the editor is launched

I just bought Adobe photoshop elements and 12 first. After that my first items installed, I was able to load the Organizer, but the editor crashes immediately after loading. I uninstalled, deleted all the files and folders of adobe and re-installed, only to find the same problem. The editor independently hangs if I load it from the screen flash launch or organizer.

Thanks much for the reply, but I managed to get a conversation with an Adobe support person who has finally solved the problem. I ended up uninstalling, remove both files (sorry can't remember what they were called), re - install (on the C: drive, instead of my D: drive as before) and everything now works fine. Not sure if it was the other player or the files that I deleted that has solved the problem.

I don't know, but maybe it's one of several cases in the latest version of Skype 7.0 is not able properly to interpret data from the BIOS. At least, that was the issue with the cases already reported with this error message:

    Exception code: 0xc0000005

A fix may be available in one of the next versions of Skype. In the meantime, the solution is to uninstall version 7.0 and install the 6.21.0.104 previous version.

    Hello

    1. what game you play when this happens?
    2. have you ever run properly on your computer?
3 did you changes to the computer recently?

    Method 1.
Play this game in the clean boot and then check if it works very well.

    Method 2.
I would like to look at the logs of the same observer. Here's how you can pull up the newspapers:
Type eventvwr.msc/s in the address bar.

  • Widows Explorer crashed immediately after Windows update

Original title: I think that my laptop updated overnight. Now when I try to turn on the widows Explorer crashed immediately after, sign in

As stated above I think that my updates of the laptop from one day to the next. Now when I boot, windows explore crashes immediately after the connection quite a lot. When I click on an icon

It records the click but does nothing. None of the icons will load in the right hand icon down either. Help please :(

    Hello

I suggest you to check the exact error message you get to do this in the Event Viewer:

Event Viewer is a tool that displays detailed information about the events important (for example, programs that don't start as expected or updates are downloaded automatically) on your computer. The event viewer can be useful when troubleshooting problems and errors with Windows and other programs.

    For more information, see:

What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

Check out this link to open the event viewer:

    Open event viewer

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-Event-Viewer

I suggest you to view update history to see which update might be causing the problem.

    (a) open Windows Update by clicking Start , all programs, and then Windows Update.

    (b) in the left pane, click view update history.

    (c) to display more information about an update, double-click it.

Once you know Update KB number, provide us with the same for further analysis and troubleshooting.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

I also suggest you to start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

This could happen if one of the substantive programmes is in conflict with the proper functioning of your computer. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7, mentioned in the article to start the computer to a normal startup.

    Method 2:

Alternatively, you can try to perform the scan of the auditor of the system files on the computer.

Click on the link mentioned below for further guidance on the scanning of the file system Checker

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Note: You may be prompted to insert the Windows Vista installation DVD, if any files are missing or damaged.

Hope this helps and keep us posted.

  • CC App crash immediately after the launch, the Adobe solution worsens the problem

Installed OSX El Capitan a few weeks there are applications used as usual until today, when I decided to try Lightroom. Launched application Adobe CC for the first time since before installing El Capitan. CC App crashed immediately, but I managed to close the session after several attempts. Logs back in, and each application stops working, closes unexpectedly with an error: 16.

Try this solution without help: aunch.html https://helpx.adobe.com/Creative-Cloud/KB/CC-Desktop-application-Close-immediately-after-l

Reformat the hard drive, reinstalled DVD Cougar, upgrade to El Capitan, to see whether the problem was related to the third party software. No help. Tried the solution tied once more and managed to launch Illustrator on the first run after install in safe mode, but it is broken as soon as I signed it in the CC system, still in safe mode. Does not not since. But: Now Adobe CC App works in mode without failure, but none of the applications, tried Illustrator and Dreamweaver. Nothing works in normal mode.

    Any suggestions?

I contacted the Support, and I recommend others to a similar issue to do the same. Creating cloud still does not work, but my applications need.

Your ATI video card driver crashes - you need to update the site Web from ATI/AMD.

The sniffer of disabling is NOT a solution - it just means that you are running without any error checking applied to your video card driver, and the driver can fail at any time.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 crashes immediately after opening

So, I recently installed the Adobe Production Premium Suite for Windows 7. I installed all the updates and everything worked well. Then a month ago, I went to edit in Photoshop CS6 and it crashed just after importing the files. So just out of curiosity broke down when opening anything in the suite, After Effects, first, etc. So I uninstalled, reinstalled and downloaded all the updates and everything worked very well. Now this nastly little problem has arisin once again. Illustrator and Photoshop seem to work, I can load files, edit, save, restore, etc.. But Premiere and After Effects won't start. First starts very well and I can create a new project and set up, but once I am finished it first is actually opened, it instantly before I can't do anything. All I get is a message saying Windows this program has stopped working and then just exit out. No first error message. I then decided to open the project file, its opening and creation has not crashed. I imported the clips, no problem. I selected a clip to start editing, and first crashes everything as he has done before. If this problem happens with the TWO CS6 first Pro and After Effects CS6. With After Effects, I get the error message: After Effects error: current Crash. Last logged message was: 4224 > < ae.blitpipe > < 2 > make new context. Then I click OK and a second error message appears, it read: After Effects can't continue: Sorry, After Effects broke down. Using After Effects and support, go to (Adobes site). If you can't always solve the problem, contact Technical Support of Adobe (2). (0: 42). Then Windows appears with his message informing me that After Effects has stopped working.

    Data sheet:

    Windows 7

    Intel Core i7 3570 k

    8 GB ram G.Skill

    Motherboard ASrock Z77 Extreme 4

    XFX Radeon HD 7950

    2xAdata SP900 64 GB of SSD in RAID 0

1 TB Seagate Barricuda HARD drive

I can't see my version number of my applications because well I can't start their. I download the last update for first as I type this, it is currently updated according to the Adobe Update Manager.

    Thank you!

Unable to launch fully is often related to the video driver. I'd go to AMD/ATI, check your video driver installed. If not the most recent, then download and install it. Note: there are a few problems with some of the latest drivers from AMD/ATI (especially in the PS CS6 forum), then it might be necessary to roll-back to a previous video driver.

If this isn't the cause, in your case, then you have come to the less ruled out one of the main causes.

    Good luck

  • Audition CS5.5 crashes immediately after starting.

    Hello

I'm under hearing on a MacBook Pro Version 10.6.6 - immediately after the start of attempt and I get a message informing me that the app has left unexpectedly. I try to reopen the application, but in vain. Any suggestions?

Rename the folder to something else (for example, "4.0_backup").   This will simulate the compensation of your preferences

    ~/Library/preferences/Adobe/Audition/4.0

Launch and then after that hearing is in the "Hearing Log.txt" file that is created in the new 4.0 file that will create the next time you start hearing.

You also don't mention if this has always happened since you've installed and activated the product, or if it started after something else.

  • Photoshop CS4 is suspended / stalls / hangs immediately after launch

PS CS4 crashes, stops, freezes either during startup or immediately after causing the computer to crash.

    System

    • Dell XPS720,
    • Dell 24 "MAP reference
    • XP MCE,
    • RAM 4 GB, (2.75 available)
    • 250 GB of free space on 750 gig hard drive,
    • NVidia GeForce 8800 GT & latest driver,
    • Canon MX700 & latest driver.

Here's what I've done so far, (sorry if I missed something)

    • No recent updates or changes made to the system after started.
    • Renamed PREF file - no change. (the new pref file has 0 bytes)
    • Components of the system under test - all past.
    • Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted the software - result = no change.
    • Updated drivers for printer/scanner & video card - result = no change.

As well as thinking about the PSU, two things you can try.

    (a) uninstall Adobe Bridge. Might as well remove Version Cue Server too, if installed.

    (b) disable all startup Photoshop scripts. To do this, go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Startup CS4\Adobe Photoshop Scripts. Rename the file Photoshop.csx in Photoshop.disabled (for example). [Added:] Do the same for other startup scripts in the folder.

    Try Photoshop again.
