• CS6 Dreamweaver crashes whenever a document HTML is updated in another program.

  This only happens to the CS6.  Normally when an HTML document is updated in another program just Dreamweaver updates the open copy.  But CS6 actually crashes / freezes and requires a forced exit and restart.

  I frequently files open in Dreamweaver and media without any problem.

  When DW starts acting weird, the first thing to try is removing corrupted Cache.

  I recently upgraded to El Capitan and bought Adobe Creative Cloud. I worked in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign without problem.

  I worked in DW. At first, my only problem was that he hung on caching every time. I delete the Configuration file and restart. This is a problem, but I was finally able to work. Now if I make changes and try to save, it just hangs. Unable to work and save at all.

• Assembly of persons with reduced mobility in Live View mode

  I scoured the web trying to figure why I am unable to change the thing in Live view with Dreamweaver CC. When I click on the button Live while properties and Insert etc. is disabled. All the tutorials I've seen for Dreamweaver CC everyone is adding/subtracting elements in Live View mode, but for me it is all grayed out and is not possible. I looked for options enable editing mode live view, but I can't find anywhere in dreamweaver. Help, please!

  I'll try later, but I think I may have found the problem. It seems that the cs6 dreamweaver made two files confquration on the same day, but only about 4 hours out. This does not seem normal to me.  Does anyone know why an expensive program like this would do that? Was it a mistake of the operator? I asked the woman who runs this program and she doesn't know anything about the configuration files. • How to use Dreamweaver CC 20141 Live View to copy text formatted complex into a web page?

  Since Design mode has been removed from the fluid grid Layouts and could disappear completely in the next update, I can't use Live View to place the complex text in my web pages.

  Our company needs a list of the descriptions of complex tasks on our web pages.  Design view has worked well, Live View does not work. The following two examples are recorded.

Obviously, as seen above, I do something wrong, or the Live View does not all the functions that the Design mode allows to.  I know that I can always access Design view in documents non - presentation of the fluid grid and it is my current work around.  I copy my Word file in mode available in non-fluid Design, then copy this code in my grid fluid, not true paper effective use of my time.  And even this workaround may not be available after the next update.

Regarding your problem above, I guess that you are into editing (orange box) and then paste text.

Have you tried to paste the text directly in Live View mode? It does not preserve the formatting of text.

• Dreamweaver CC gel on Live View

  Hey all,.

  Using a Mac Pro since early 2009, Mavericks. Great work.

  I'm still in my trial version, do not know if it makes a difference here. Going to buy soon, but not if this problem persists.

  Edition of my site, in almost any page - when I go to Live View, the program crashes. Can always initially scroll upward and down into the code in half, but not the Live View mode (Furthermore, it'll show an old version of what I am working, as in, does not not the changes that I've made since the last viewing in Live View mode). Then it becomes more serious and can not click or touch anything in the whole of the program. I'm going to click on the Live button to get out, but it will be frozen for approximately 30 to 90 seconds. Then he catches up, click on what I did in the period of jelly and switches back me to normal mode. This is not good.

  Any help or idea?

  If it turns out that the answer to my original problem was resolved when I bought the CC licensed version. And Yes, it is in fact different. The user interface is more recent, and it seems that compatibility issues have been resolved. Hooray!

• I'm unable to use the Live View function when working with JavaScript in Dreamweaver.

  I'm currently trying to set up my own Web site with dreamweaver and am very familiar with the languages Java and JavaScript. However, whenever I try to use the Live View function it never let me. In addition, I can't get a preview of my work in a browser, as to do so is greyed out.

  However, I noticed that when using html in a project, all these functions are available. Any ideas how I can be able to use these features?

  Or perhaps you mean a .jsp file that is a Java Server Page.

  Modern web pages are almost entirely HTML code with CSS for styles and JavaScript for functionality added as games & slideshows or interactive menus.  It does not seem possible for me that you have been creating web pages entirely with JavaScript.

• After upgrading to Mac OS Sierra Verson 10.12 Dreamweaver Live View is extremely slow

  It's the iMac and MacBook Pro. The two machines are powerful and new.

  After the upgrade to the new MacOS Sierra seems incredibly slow on everything that Dreamweaver. Create a new page.

  The last time I had problems with Dreamweaver was energy, it has been fixed in an upgrade later. This time the problem is something else.

  Mode Live View shows not alive, must constantly keep Refresh and it's incredibly slow when it works.

  After a short then nothing works and you must restart Dreamweaver. It is a problem between the application and the system. Will it be fixed in the near future by Adobe or should I go the road big return to the old system.

• How to configure Dreamweaver to accept PHP mode live view when configured with a local test (ie., localhost:8888) server through MAMP (not MAMP Pro)? My site appears in the browser, but not in mode live view DM. Thank you.

  I use a Macbook Pro with Yosemite and can not get the mode live view to work in conjunction with my local server or with my php files.

  What could be wrong? I put top/synced everything with my folder in htdocs root.

  Not necessarily. I often develop PHP in Dreamweaver, even though I have ZEND Studio (which is a great PHP IDE).

  A true IDE will give you debugging tools and a large number of small features that make the code more effective.

  I use and Filezilla to connect to our FTP site.

  do-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;

  I see on line 180

  do-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

  and I see FontAwesome used in several places.

  I can only conclude that Courier New is the applied font.

• Live view DreamWeaver CC 2014 not correct

  I use the new DreamWeaver CC 2014 on Windows 7. I have a doc html using a separate CSS style sheet, JQuery, JQuery UI, and Modernizr. The page is configured using flexbox and displays as expected in Chrome and IE. All valid outs without warnings or errors.  I turned on the mode live view and the page isn't yet about how chrome displays the page.

  Is anyone else having similar problems?

  I filed a bug with Adobe report. They contacted me later that day, request a copy of the files, which I provided. Yesterday, I received a reply stating that they have solved the problem and it would be included in the next update. I can't wait to see it in action.

  I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm going to

  1. File / new / Page from the sample / Mobile starters / JQuery Mobile with (local) theme.
  2. Then, I save my page.
  3. Then when I go to preview my new page in Live View mode, it displays a page without styles, etc.
  4. When I download the page and other files created by Dreamweaver to my server. I saw it and it will look like the JQuery style default page, but when I click on the button to see the content of the page, there is not a 'back' button to return to my home page.
  5. Too, when I try to apply a shade of JQuery mobile, the Swatch window said "No theme applied."

  I feel I'm missing something really simple, but what? Is there a setting I need to change, or am I missing a step? I looked at many video tutorials online, and I think I take the same steps.
