DVD drive no longer works after the installation of PowerISO
I recently installed PowerISO and he took my physical DVD drive so I can't use it. The drive does not appear in Windows Explorer. The drive appears in the parameters of the material, but with the note that the driver has been disabled, and another driver provides functionality. There are questions on the net on this WRT to PowerISO (wish I had seen these before that I loaded it) but no real and tangible solutions. I tried to uninstall the device, reload the drivers and even bought a new DVD player and installed it but it happens with the same question. None of em fixed work. I did a complete refresh of BIOS and CMOS, nothing helps. Readers do not appear in the BIOS settings but show (with numbers) to the setting of the material. I also removed PowerISO, which did nothing. Then I re-installed and changed the setting Virtual Drive 'None' in thinking that this was taking on my physical drives. Nothing. So I still once uninstalled.
In addition, if the problem persists, can you check the following registry key? :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
To the registry for this key, in the right window, in the world is here, under 'Name', a LowerFilters and UpperFilters value?
If so, for UpperFilters and LowerFilters, value which is listed under "data"?
There is most likely a bad entry in one of these values that would have made the installation or uninstallation of software.

P6-2270ea: speakers on my monitor HP 2009v no longer work after Windows update 10
Recently, I noticed there was no sound when using my desktop and when I clicked on the icon Audio (lower-right) I was told that no speakers are connected. I checked all connections between the tower and the monitor, but nothing obvious has been disconnected. There are some speakers on my HP 2009v monitor so I couldn't understand what was going on. The monitor is connected to the desktop computer, although it does not show as existing on the HP support assistant.
After a lot of research on websites and download updates from microsoft and HP, I found advice on your forum to download the software updates Windows 8.x. This and now my headset worked, but the speakers do not always work. Help please!
The monitor has its own set of controls and menu and I feel that something will not sit well with Windows 10 - when I tried to use the Auto function and the menu on the screen its has already disappeared (I got the extent of noise in the headphone previuosly). I'm not in touch with this set of controls now, in which case I will go back to no sound at all!
Any detailed suggestions please? -I don't know much about computers so I am a little intimidated by things like open in safe mode, etc.
See you soon

CD no longer works after windows loading 8.1
Hello. After the upgrade to Windows 8.1 my CD stops working. Load discs and it would turn, but nothing on the computer has welcomed the presence of a disc in the CD or even a CD-ROM drive.
According to the instructions of Microsoft, I removed the driver (they said restarting the computer would reload the driver, but this seems not to happen).
How do I install the correct driver, correctly map my CD and get it all working again?
Thanks for any help!

Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help!

Upgrade of VN7 bluetooth devices - 791G no longer work after Windows 10
After the upgrade to Windows 10 on my 2 month, Acer VN7 - 791G, could not pair my mouse Logitech bluetooth mouse, my bluetooth speakers could not pair and could not by Nexus 7. All these devices have been works fine on Win 8.1 earlier.
In Device Manager, only the generic drivers Bluetooth of Windows, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and THE enumerator showed (dated dated 21/06/2006).
Under network adapters, the display driver has been the NVA of Qualcomm Atheros QCA64x4 10.0.0.62 dated Date 18/05/2015.
I checked that this model is indeed compatible under ACER for Windows 10 website. I was also check the ACER drivers to win 10 for this model, but there is no new update Bluetooth.
I downloaded the 8.1 earn more and install, but they would not always work (Microsoft ones are still showing in Device Manager).
I had to actually downgrade back to 8.1 days earlier because of this problem but thought I would try to update to Windows 10 again, hoping that it would work, but still no luck.
I had google but can't seem to find a solution and think that I need a bluetooth update driver for Windows 10 of Acer or Broadcom. The site of Atheros do not have Windows 10 bluetooth drivers as well.
I might have to go back again and try again in a few months time unless someone could please point me in the right direction.
Thank you.
Hi, so I only installed the Atheros drivers because what's in my system (I visually checked before when I added an SSD). I had no luck with NFA222 and have not installed the 3.0.0.373 (a way).
I also tried to install a few other atheros, drivers of win10/win8.1 I found other sources. None of those who work.
My standard method of installing the new drivers is to uninstall all existing, then use the available to download setup.exe. Then restart.
Here's what I look at. Note the LG Mini is my active BT stereo. I had also connected it to my android, so I'm sure things work as expected.

touchpad no longer works after windows 10
S7-392
I installed the upgrade for the Synaptics driver, nothing helps.
TPN and Alt.7 do not work.
Any ideas?
As a result of a thread from the previous Microsoft forums, it worked for me yesterday to restore the trackpad function. Go to the page of the Acer driver for your computer. Download the intel chipset drivers for Windows 8.1 i/o. Run the Setup program for the 'compatibility' mode driver and install it. You will need to restart the computer. The computer will then recognize the trackpad as a device is valid. Then download and install the driver Synaptics (or impetus) to win 10 of the Acer support page and restart. If the trackpad is not immediately active on reboot, press F7 function. At least it fixed it for me.

Computer with pre installed windows 7 no longer work after Windows installation 10
Hello
A few months ago, my son ordered a computer with Windows 7 pre-installed. He installed Windows 10 such as recommended with the message 'free upgrade'. Unfortunately, now the computer does not work at all and the computer doesn't seem to have a possibility of recovery (at least we cannot find it).
In addition, the computer manufacturer does not meet one of e-mails and calls from some time. What can we do to recover his computer with Windows 7 or Windows 10 (I don't like which version of Windows)? Windows setup does not work 10 from scratch, the product key has not been accepted, probably because there is only a product key for a pre installed windows 7.
Help, please!
Kind regards
John

Designjet 4000: HP Designjet 4000 no longer work after Windows update 10.
We have updated a Windows machine 10 - a new PC DELL Precision T1700 which is only a couple of months. The update has been problematic with two printers netwoprk, but Canon A4/A3 is now printing.
Updated since Win 7 lowered 8.1.
The Designjet 4000 A0 has not printed since and is not found on the network through this machine.
We looked for drivers, but Win10 won't even allow to install the old drivers: installation fails every time.
(the original drivers have been in the PC, but I tried to delete to a new facility and since then, cannot install at all).
Any help is appreciated for busy office!
Thank you, very good suggestion as it has us going again - no perfecf, but feasible at the moment. Thank you!
