  • Question about the USB wireless adapter for Windows XP

I'm trying to set up a wireless connection for my desktop pc with Windows XP. I don't see any options for a wireless connection. A USB adapter would do the trick? Looks like the easiest option.

For a desktop computer with Windows XP, there was probably no built-in wireless card. Some systems Windows XP later had these as optional.

You must meet your Dell model.

A USB dongle should work, but make sure there is a Windows XP driver on the suppliers Web site before you buy. Windows XP has reached its end of life and is no longer supported by Dell or, more importantly, Microsoft. Be careful with the continued use of Windows XP, especially if the connection to the internet.

You can install the unofficial service pack 4 before you connect to the internet which will help a little:

  • Sync problems Xbox 360 wireless receiver for Windows and the controller (Windows XP, SP3)

I'm having trouble connecting my controller to the wireless receiver. I use XP, Service Pack 3, 32-bit. I read dozens of help sites for help, but none has my same circumstances. The most common suggestion was to look at the driver for the receiver appears as a device not recognized. I checked the Device Manager and the receiver is recognized and does not appear as device not recognized. My controller does not appear in Device Manager as a new group named Microsoft Common Controller for Windows class, on Xbox 360 Controller for Windows. My controller syncs perfectly with my console, and functions very well also. I also downloaded the file Microsoft Xbox 360 accessories of the Microsoft hardware Web site, such as recommended by many establishments but do not know how file functions. A last help, my receiver is genuine and not fake with the XBCD holographic logo.

  • Windows Mobile Device host process for Windows Services farm...

    Greetings...

I used my iPaq for years with several versions of Windows up to Vista x 64 final, with Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1. But now when I plug it into a USB Port it does not connect. Shortly after plugging in I get the message: "Peocess host for Windows Services stopped working and was closed. If I reboot or try another port, I could see a new driver installation message, but the result is the same.

    I tried:

    1 reset

2 system restore to a time where the iPaq connected

    3. delete the partnership (a new partnership can now be launched because Windows does not connect to the device)

    4. to install the latest Windows Mobile device driver x 64 (6.1 I think)

5 install the latest Windows updates

So, what did you do to my system to stop what was working? Please advise me on how I could fix your Windows error?

    Thank you very much

    Kenneth Spencer

OK chaps... I'm afraid to say that the support system missed me at this opportunity.

However, I am happy to say that I solved the problem after spending several hours on the subject. What have I done? I did a soft reset on the iPaq and hey presto, it connects now.

I was invited to do the soft reset because I noticed that ActiveSync on the iPaq couldn't be started. I tried to verify the boot parameters, but as it would not start, I could not see, and still less set.

So for the MVP: I suggest that next time arises a question about the failure of the connection for an iPaq, or the host process to crash when it is plugged in, you should firsat suggest a soft reset of the iPaq.

    Thank you very much

    Kenneth Spencer

  • Drivers Dell 370 Bluetooth for Windows 10

I have Dell Studio 1555 and looking for the drivers of Dell 370 Bluetooth Mini Card Windows 10.

BT is not detected in W10 and Device Manager shows no odd entries.

I tried to install the drivers from the Dell website, but they cannot be installed even in compatibility mode.

    Please provide the same.

XPS 1645 370 BT driver Win 10. > I had the same problem and what I found was that I needed to go into Add/Remove programs and uninstall the Broadcom of Windows 7 driver software. Once I did I then used the Broadcom drivers for Windows 10 provided by Lenovo (which is identical to Broadcoms but the works of the Installer). Lenovo Broadcom driver version can be found on the link below. (if the link is broken just get Lenovo Broadcom Bluetooth Windows 10).  Another issue that needs resolved is garbled audio via BT and which can be solved by downloading the audio codec Realtek HD 10 Windows. I hope this information is useful to anyone who has faced the same problem. Personally, I know that I spent many hours with Dell and Microsoft is desperately trying to get this resolved. Luckily I have just given and plugged away to my own research and managed to get the issue resolved. It took me about 3 hours of research and five minutes to actually get it going (including reboot and device pairing). So happy that I got this solved... good luck.
