  If you are not able to install the 3rd party device IRDA driver on Vista, it seems that the disc is not compatible and don t support Vista.
  Seems you have to contact the manufacture of the IRDA device and ask the compatible reader

  I just got a new phone and I am trying to restore from a backup of my old. The problem is that my iPhone is not showing in iTunes. It appears in the 'My Computer' section as a device. There is a problem with the 'Mobile USB Device Driver' that I couldn't solve. Whenever I plug my iPhone, the said driver installed in vain. The choice of 'Roll Back' for the driver already installed is there, so I chose to see what happened. This allows the driver to "Mobile Device" appears, where my iPhone now charge when I plug it into the computer. I go to this device and try to install, and it refers me to a screen that says "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error when you try to install it" and then lists the mobile device as the problem driver. I think I can be "go back" to a bad driver, but I can't find out how to download a driver that is correct and working.

  Unfortunately, USB 3.0 is not officially supported in VISA 5.3 when you use VISA Driver Wizard.

  A non-official solution is to work around the "information in the descriptor' by selecting 'Other' in the list of devices. You will need to manually enter the 'USB manufacturer ID (vendor ID)' and 'type USB (Product ID) Code. You will then need to find your driver in Windows Device Manager, right click and select "update driver software". This, however, is not a workaround solution guaranteed as NI-VISA 5.3 is not officially compatible USB 3.0.

  Are you sure that the USB is not bad? Also have you tried on some other computer USB3 ports to see if those who can see the drive? Looks like your USB is not USB3 if it can read the disk HARD USB3 but not the USB3 Flash in question. Also make sure that your laptop ports are USB3 ports?   I suggest you uninstall the drivers for Bluetooth, fingerprint usb controllers and the sensor. Then reboot the computer this should install it the appropriate drivers for it.

  I did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit and everything goes fine until I started to add the specific drivers of lenovo t61p.  I get the following in the Event Viewer error message:

After two years, I found a solution.  I installed a previous version of Lenovo sw fp and it fixes attention on win 7 sp1 2 t60.  I've been running for about 3 weeks and warning went on two PCs. then, download and install IN1FGP08WW1.exe.  It is fp s-o of Lenovo in UTEK and there the pilot to clear the warning.  BUT it's not as safe as the current Lenovo sw fp.  Apparently, she was abandoned when authentic bought UTEK because of this.  as I understand it, if someone has physical access to your pc they can decifer pw of windows in the registry.  This isn't a big problem for me.

  I understand you have two external hard drives USB that you want to connect to your airport Time Capsule via USB, but one who is not recognized by the Capsule from the airport. Given that this player connects to your iMac without problem, I would recommend that you backup all data stored on the disk, and then follow the steps here to re - format the drive using disk utility:

  Backup disks, you can use with Time Machine - Apple Support

  Format a drive connected to an AirPort Extreme 802.11ac or Time Capsule

  If you are using an AirPort Extreme 802.11ac or Time Capsule, you can connect an external drive to the USB port on these devices for use with Time Machine. Follow these steps to reformat the hard disk in the first place, it is ready for use.

  1. Connect the hard drive to a USB port on your Mac.
  2. Open disk utility.
  3. On the left side of the disk utility window, select your external drive (or one of its partitions).
  4. Click the delete or delete button on the toolbar.
  5. On the Format menu, choose Mac OS extended (journaled).
  6. Type a name for your drive, and then click clear.
  7. After that the drive is deleted, close the disk utility window.

  Once the disk has been reformatted, try to connect this back to the airport Time Capsule to see if it is now recognized.
