  Your problem is unlikely to be associated with the event ID: 219, which warns a driver did not load. In fact the driver load a few moments later and the portable device then works.

  Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information). Select file, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Not to place the cursor in the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new information file system each time system information is available. You must allow a minute or two before the file is completely filled before exporting a copy. • BlackBerry Smartphones has tried to update the device software, now unable to connect to the device via USB

  I tried to update my 8100 to the 4.5 software.  I first updated the desktop to 4.7 software, then tried to update the device, but the process has failed.

  Now, when I open the Desktop Manager it shows not connected to the device.  I can go to the properties of the device mamager and select the balckberry, but when I return to the destop eat it says no device.

  It seems that whatever I do, it does not recognize the usb device.

  The display on the 8100 is company information only text, no graphics or by phone, and it is virtually unusable.

  There are options on the screen for some applications, but if I choose them, it says app not found.

  Is there a way to force an update to it?  Or I poohed this phone?

  I pulled the battery on the device it reboot and tried to return to a former Office Manager Update

  1. unplug BB from USB and PC. Restart the PC turned off completely.

• Recognizing the devices via USB ports

  So, I have problems my Dell computer laptop windows 8 based to recognize my Samsung flip phone so that I can upload photos.  I have not had any problems with other phones in the past, but I find it curious that windows 8 does not recognize my phone.  Any suggestions?  Just to clarify, the phone is connected via USB and it charges fine.  The computer also makes a noise (as if she recognizes the device) once it is plugged into one of the ports.  The unit simply does not appear anywhere...

  It should appear under "My Computer" (or "This PC" If you have upgraded to Windows 8.1).  But remember, you will need to go to the Samsung website and download the driver for the phone first.

  There is no USB drivers for all Windows operating systems.
  Still is it USB driver are part of the Windows system and you will find not all drivers use 3rd for a USB port.

  In your case, I recommend updating BIOS and update Win XP to the last State. All updates and patches XP must be installed!

  Well Alrighty then. I set myself, through the observation of AndyWalser here.

  I had recently installed SUSE 11.2 x 64. I thought that this would in any way be related since it was apparently USB. Turns out that, for some reason, with GRUB as the boot loader, it UN-brands Win7 partition as "Active". At the moment I have re-marked as active sleep and Hibernate worked without a hitch.

  If anyone has similar issues, just go to computer management > disk management and brand the Win7 partition as Active.

  The real question, however, is what has to do with the USB not suspending do not at all.

  Hello this is the first time I posted about people here so sorry if I get this thread a bit messed up, but to cut a long story short, I plugged in my USB iPhone and then the iPhone has crashed, so I had to uninstall iTunes, to complete the unistallation I had to reboot my computer on that next time that my computer started. My Usb drivers, Audio and Ethernet were no longer works. I tried a lot of thing to solve this problem, I downloaded the drivers and has moved across on a dvd and has not worked, I reinstalled the drivers, didn't work and I also moved my ram in a different solt because a friend told me that this could work. It did not help. I took a screenshot of the problem and transferred to it via CD.
