I understand that your phone is not detected by your computer. The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with the USB and Windows device. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

Method 1:

Please try the fixit (s) provided below which will help you solve common problems associated with devices and USB ports.

If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

Method 2:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

  1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
  3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
  4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
  5. Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

If the problem persists, go to method 3.

Method 3:

This method will install the latest device driver for your compatible phone to Windows 7.

  1. Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
  2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
  3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
  4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
  6. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

    I suggest you to uninstall all the drivers, that is Samsung as well as Bluetooth.

    Then, restart the computer and plug all phones Samsung three each so install the drivers and software from Samsung kies from the link below:

    From my research, this error message indicates that you have an old version of Samsung drivers installed on the computer.

    Several clients are faced with this question after that they have updated the version of Android to 4.3, but the version of the driver is not updated.

    I suggest you uninstall all traces of Samsung is installed in the list programs and then reinstall the device drivers Samsung from the link provided in the previous post.

    Windows will not synchronize Galaxy S3 synchronizes a mobile computer.  When I attach USB cable the computer flashes added new hardware, but when you click the icon it goes in loops.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in Kies and always the same problem.  All other cell phones synced to computer, including the Samsung Galaxy S3 but my iPhone no matter what I do.  When I open Kies and connect the USB cable there is no reconition of the cell phone.  I've seen a Code 31 error appear in good devices.

    The latest version is ver.v1.4.6.0 out June 19, 2012.

    I recommend you to please update the USB drivers on your computer and check if it helps.

    The patent office uses a PDF file without a download link. There is no plugin Adobe Reader for Android. If I don't have a work around.

    I downloaded all the drivers, re-installed a new copy of windows and even factory reset the phone, but it was all in without success.
    The computer recognizes now all other phones that I have connected and the phone in question works on all computers that I tested it on.
    I know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with the phone or the cable USB or the USB ports on the computer (had it checked by Samsung that the phone is in perfect working condition).
    In addition, there nothing wrong with the computer since he recognizes all other phones that I connect to it.
    It is really confusing and was made of my head for the last two weeks or so.

    It is more a question that you should study from the other end (Samsung/Android) to this end (Windows).  Hardware and software support for any device always has (probably always will be) from the manufacturer of the product.  They did, they decide what software/drivers that they provide and how they provide.

    For most of the devices like this - just use it as a USB hard drive works well.  ;-)

    Double check your cable and make sure it is not damaged.

    Just FYI, you must follow the below mentioned way to remove manually the drivers SG 2 and let it automatically reinstall the drivers.

    Click Start > type in devmgmt.msc in the search box, press enter > right click on the printer drivers in the device list and click on uninstall. And restart the computer.
