• Drop-down controls stopped working.

  My drop-down controls suddenly stopped working in the middle of working on a document. I changed my font of portions of the document by selecting the text using the right click command. I noticed that I could always change it by using the tools at the top of the page. Nothing in my command click right and no works does nothing in the drop top as file, editing, layout etc. For example, I can't save or print without using keyboard shortcuts. It lets me select the action, but does nothing. I do not think I would have accidentally hit something because what I was doing is a fairly simple task. Any suggestions?

  Hey gang,

  I have a function in my C++ class that seeks a couple of drop downs by ObjectName and their Options adds.

  the feature works well - except that when the application first starts, the function cannot find the menu drop-down, then the drop-down list is empty.  At various times during the execution of the application, it refreshes the drop-down list and those all great works.  It is only on the first attempt when the application first starts it fails.

  Here's the function:

  so when the application starts, I get this message of qWarning() and dpList (and logDpList) are both 0.

  I tried the dissemination of calls to this function in various places at the same time the C++ class, so in onCreationCompleted() different signals in the QML IU - as for the homepage, TabbedPane, drop-down menus.

  No matter where and when I call, I can't get the drop-down list to provide information on the first try.

  is there a way to find a way to make this work?  It's (quite) a little annoying.  I wish that the onCreationCompleted() for the drop-down list would work, but alas, no joy.

  Quite simply, if the object is not in the scene tree, you will get a result of findChild. It has not been created or added to the scene.

  You say that you did above in onCreationCompleted of a drop-down list, but this would only guarantee that one of your drop-down menus has been created and your conditional statement requires that both happening simultaneously be non-null. You must run the above, when the two objects are created.

  It seems that you can split the above function to manage separately, the dpList and logDpList after the onCreationCompleted of signals for each drop-down list.

  Note: If you run findChild on the user interface of your entire application, your application has a serious design flaw.

  I need to pre-select an item in a drop-down list, but I don't see how to achieve this using the current or existing methods.  I know that if I set the rawValue then it works, but later when I try to retrieve the data in the selected drop-down list the order of the day list, I get an 'empty' which does not help.  What he needs, is the value, the pair of label to work properly. When I manually select an item in the drop-down list, it works perfectly. But not when I try programtically set. So now I wonder if it is possible to set the index for the drop-down menu, so that he believes have a selected item, when I survey I get the correct value.

  You can use the selectedIndex property to set the desired value.

  And to retrieve a value, I recommend you to use *.getDisplayItem (*.selectedIndex);

  Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar. Then;
  Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: clear now

  and

  • Delete Cookies

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar. Then Tools > Options > privacy.

  Under historical, select Firefox will use the custom settings.
  There is a button on the right side, called View the Cookies.

  If there is still a problem,
  Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
  While you are in safe mode;
  Press the < Alt > or < F10 > key to bring up the toolbar... Then

  Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

• Site drop-down list does not work - DW CC 2015.1

  Someone knows how to fix DW so that the drop-down list of sites appears in the files Panel? When I click on the drop down menu, I see he's trying to do * something * but I don't have the drop-down list.   So far, I added a drop-down list so that the user could choose which pages to put a pdf/indd file: odd/even/as well.

  

  However, I encountered a strange problem: on Windows, it works as expected, but on Mac, nothing happens when I click on the shortcut menu. When I write a dialog box, I almost always use the automatic layout and never encountered such a problem before. But in this text the author uses a fixed position for the controls so I followed his style of coding:

  I don't think you're doing something wrong. If you change the vertical position of the popup to 90, the popup works if you click at the top, not if you click on the bottom.

  I know that it would work, if the '- choose or type -' has the value '000', but it is for example very big change for validation scripts, that we cannot accept in this phase of the project.

• ComboBox drop-down lists appear not at all.

  From the drop-down lists 16 FF ComboBoxes stopped to appear. I click on the element < select > on the page, but it does not display the list of < option > elements. I so use the keyboard to select an option. This always happens on all, totally ALL the internet sites.
  I tried different versions of FF: 16,17,18,19, or 22 (all night), but no difference. Other browsers show ComboBox dropdown lists correctly.
  I tried the solution on your forums, but the suggestions I've found (like disabling hardware acceleration or reload cache) did not help.
  Tell me please, how it can be fixed. Thank you.

  OK, I know where is the problem now. I have an Actual Windows Manager program changes windows rendering, so comboboxes firefox window do not work.

  The heart of the problem is the ability to place windows to some monitor at startup, it crasges comboboxes.

• Quick drop-down list doesn't show more :( LV2009f2

  My quick-drop list does more when I press ctrl-space.  When initially, I press ctrl-space (after the loading of LabVIEW) my machine behaves as it is responsible for the drop-down list (LabVIEW gal and my hard drive of thrashes for a minute), but no drop-down list.  My computer is a bit slow and obsolete (the long time loading initial from the drop-down list hense) so perhaps that's the issue.  I'm running a 1.6 GHz Centrino w / 1.5 GB of ram and Windows XP SP3.

  I tried to restart.  I was using the drop-down list a little before it stopped working.  I would avoid a complete reinstall of LabVIEW on it.

  Any advice?

  Just grasp at straws but...

  In the VG. INI file there is a line

  "QuickDropPosition ="

  This apperas to save where the window QD waas when last used. Maybe yours is defined for a position out of the screen.

  I use windows7 (64-bit) MSOffice 2010 (especially Excel runs large leaves with complicated formulas & macros VBA) on a HP Probook 4730 s computer.  I run Kapersky Antivirus 2014.  Everything is up-to-date and has been paid for.

  For the past few weeks, every time I click on a drop down of the web page freezes.  Clicking x, I can leave the page and do a right click on a few links allows me to open a new page which works until I have try & use a drop-down list box again.  I can use the drop boxes but when I boot Windows in safe MODE with network. So I suspect an addon - but neither restore the system repair convenience stores MSOffice2010 neither Microsoft nor try Google Chrome fixes the problem.  I would be grateful for a fix.

  A drop-down list is the bad INTERFACE design where an element can contain more than 100 entries. It is very good in tests, but absolutely unacceptable if the form must be used by a person busy doing their work. The choice of Acrobat forms are limited, but consider a list box. Despite this, there may be limits imposed by the system or the implementation.

  Better would be

  (a) stop filling after awhile the list and add an entry saying several elements not shown, running report or use better filter

  (b) be available for all filtering of course lists
