  XP drivers will not install in Windows 7 and XP mode, to higher than the Premium family edition.

  As far as I KNOW, even if you install the printer in XP mode, I don't think you can access the printer from Windows 7.

  The solutions are to use free Office or Open Office in XP mode, collect the files to print and then print out them which can result in the document formatting issues.

  HP is trying to tell you that you need to buy something for their current range.

  I can't Auto 2 wireless faces seem to work on my OfficeJet J6480.  It connects and I can easily print but 2 sides printing\g works that manually.  It is a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit laptop and a standard computer also has the same problem...  2 automatic duplex printing works very well with a wired computer in the same way (64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium).  A way to solve this problem?

  What do you mean by not working that manually?

  You see an automatic option two sides available or not, no specific error message?

  Additionally, make sure that the duplexer is enabled as follows:

  Enter the control panel > devices and printers.
  Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.
  Click the device settings tab.
  As installed in Duplex Automatic Two-Sided accessory and then click OK to save the change.

  I have uninstalled and installed the software of the printer for the fifth time and for the first time, I actually saw J6480 on the registration page. Settings of the printer turned on and the automatic was still missing.

  I also checked "HP Officejet J6400 series properties" and found an option that did not previously exist under device settings.

  Options installable unit duplex (for 2-Sided Printing) was put to uninstalled.  I changed this option to installed and finally I automatic two-sided printing.

  The software for this model on the 8.1 for Windows is the Basic Solution software and the driver. This solution of basic software provides printing and scan feature only. You download and install the latest drivers?

  HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw drivers.

  Ensure that the bidirectional Support is enabled.

  Go to the type (menu tiles) in "devices and printers" screen, select settings, click on devices and printers, click with the right button on the printer, start left click on properties of the printer, on the Ports tab, put a check mark next to allow bidirectional support.

  You may have to restart the computer.

  Try a reboot.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
