Duration classic blackBerry email

I notice by means of tests she took more than 25 minutes for my phone to receive the same email I receive on my desktop through Microsoft Outlook almost instantly.

Does anyone know if this is due to a setting in my classic BB, which allows for such a period of time before reaching the BB servers?

Is there an effective range of time which should be accepted as 'normal' when receiving messages via BB servers?

Every minute counts and if I don't receive emails within 5 minutes of them being sent by the sender I lose the valuable information/work, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Interloper1969

In the e-mail configuration screens, there may be settings... but they will vary in availability as well as the usefulness dependent on the e-mail service, to which you are connected. For example:

With EAS, it is true PUSH... but it depends on your mail server to the thrust of the device

With IMAP, it is sometimes PUSHING, but if you do not configure then the timer increments on the unit will determine the delay between attempts to SHOOT.

With pop, there is only SHOOTING, controlled by the interval setting you put on the device.

Thus, it is impossible to give you more details without knowing what it's e-mail system, you are connected to.

Oh and BTW, there is no "BB servers" at stake in this. BB10 uses a client full email on the device, which communicates directly with the mail server and does not pass through any infrastructure of BB. BB BIS inherited peripheral apprenticeships, but BB10 infrastructure does not BIS.

Good luck and let us know!

    Could someone help me please!

With all my other BlackBerry, I was able to delete an e-mail from the front screen, but while retaining it in a backup folder

With the classic, once I erase the fron screen (HUB) it automatically deletes registered screen?

    Really appreciate anybodys help here

    concerning

    Patrick

The Blackberry Hub is just a view that combines all messages from all folders. So if you delete a message in a folder, it will be also left the hub. If you delete a message in the hub, he's also gone file.

To solve your problem, I would go to

Hub > Menu button > settings > display and Actions

    and together

See the class reading Emails = No.

You will now see your Inbox in the hub, but as soon as you move a file in a folder, it will not be shown in the hub. You can still see the mail when you go into the specific folder.

  • Classic BlackBerry Email / Microsoft exchange

issue.  I paid to have a blackberry that I liked.  However, he started having problems with my server at work and would not properly work with my email.  Our office abandoned and is gone to iphones.  Now, the question I have is, did BlackBerry improvements to work better with Exchange?  Will be calendar and e-mail download correctly?  Y at - it an MS Outlook equivlent app that can be used like iphone OS devices?

    Thank you

If EAS is enabled, then use the advanced/manual configuration method to integrate the account (you may need to ask your Support for the correct settings). Done, e-mail, calendar, and contacts will all sync OTA between the server and the device.

  • 10 classic blackBerry email setup

I'm moving from "BOLD" to a classic.  I tried to set up e-mail on my classic accounts but have several unsuccessful attempts.  I use the same account to my "BOLD" settings.  I was wondering if the fact that I still have active E-mail on my "BOLD" is originally the failure during E-mail set up on Classic?

JSanders, I understand it.  I deleted the e-mail account on my "BOLD" and then added the e-mail account to my classic.  Worked.  So, looks like you can not have the same e-mail account simultaneously on two different blackberries.  Thanks for your help.

  • Classic BlackBerry is unable to get a new version of the app

    Hello!

The current version of Navitel Navigator app (https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/33343371/?lang=en&countrycode=RU) in AppWorld is 9.6.486 and Blackberry Classic is marked as device supported. But when I'm looking for this app on my classic BlackBerry (in AppWorld application), I see that 9.2.0.4 only version is available. I send email to the developer of this application and I got the answer, that there is problem of BlackBerry App World. So... How can I get the latest version on my device?

    Hi @sneer

I suspect that the developer has another version of the device application according to BB10 you use, for example on my jump I shows me 9.5.30.0

That being the case, when you contact the developer I would ask them to check what version of their app, they have 'activated' for each device BB10 and mention the different versions being shown in this thread based on device type.

My suspicion is a device with the version 9.6, but other devices were not activated with the version 9.6.

    I hope this helps

  • Questions classic blackBerry Blackberry Classic compared to the features and functions of the Bold 9900

I am extremely satisfied with the functionality of my Blackberry Bold 9900 and yet I am fun the idea of upgrading to a classic Blackberry and had a few questions, some of them functional, but one of them is technical:

    (1) I have granularily configured different contacts to the ring through "silent" while some people may sound through if I'm having a NAP or sleep. The classic allows you granularily configure the option of 'ring through' on a manually configured silent mode?

    (2) can the classic surely go to sleep and wake up one day of week / weekend schedule? My current phone doesn't sleep at midnight and wake up at 06:00 every night of the week and 02:00 to 09:00 on weekends.

    (3) back in the day of Blackberry older had a view "of today" where you could see the incoming email and tasks on the main screen. I couldn't get that with my Bold 9900, but I found this interesting app called BePopup which jumps to the top of my texts and emails on the screen as they come, without touching a button. Can you get automatically posted emails or texts with that with the classic?

    (4) the Blackberry plan I have with my provider uses the platform communications for my Blackberry RIM and so my e-mails are immediate, arriving minutes always quicker than other CC (iPhone and Android users) distribution lists. That being said, is the new classic uses what platform these other phones use for messaging connectivity?

Any feedback regarding these essential functions would be greatly appreciated as it will help me in my decision. I am very happy with my 9900 and have little reason to upgrade... unless all of these options are available.

  • Is there a Firefox application available for the classic Blackberry 2015 model?

I have a classic Blackberry. I was wondering if it is possible to obtain a browser Firefox on a classic Blackberry app to use rather than the stock browser?

    TThanks

The BackBerry operating system is like 10 BlackBerry and the BlackBerry Tablet OS older for PlayBook is based on QNX. Once long ago, you could build Firefox for QNX, but support for QNX has long been removed from the Mozilla source tree.

There has been no development of Mozilla mobile browser for any material or BlackBerry OS.

Mozilla Firefox has for mobile desktop Windows, Mac OSX, Linux and Firefox for Android 2.3 +. There is also the "BONE of Firefox" used on say that some budget phones and some new Tv's Panasonic. They have also recently started with a shell for iOS 8.2 Firefox browser +.

  • Classic classic blackBerry keeps restarting

I had classic Blackberry less then 30 days. Got battery low so I plugged it into the wall, left Jack for about 3 hours. Returned, and he was placed in a kind of loop of constant restarts? All I get is logo blackberry, then black screen and blackberry logo. I was out of town, so when I came home, I connected it to the computer and the computer tried to install a device to drive but then said it was an unrecognized device, although this computer was used to go to this device so clearly the drivers were all there. I started manually the BB desktop software. The software does not recognize the device and lists is no longer in the list of devices. WTH?

A friend has found others on crackberry.com with similar problem but no resolution.

My "BOLD" was doing this before I replaced it. I now use the "BOLD" because my classic is dead. I love BlackBerry, but they make it hard to be faithful.

  • Classic BlackBerry BB classic: can not load completely while the power is on

    Madam/Sir,

I just bought a classic BlackBerry Q20. My problems are:

    1. I can't fully charge the unit while it is on. If it is enabled, the battery power stops at 60%, no other.

    2. If I load normal when the unit is off, Yes, it will charge up to 100% with green led. However, when I turn on the device, it will start exactly in factory setting. All data, applications and updates are missing.

My question: what should I do? I downloaded the link BlackBerry and BlackBerry mixture, in their latest version. I also supported the unit entirely. But when this happens, and when I tried to restore the device with the last backup, the message is that my device is having a different setting with which stores the link of BlackBerry.

    Kindly help.

  • Classic BlackBerry, I have a 10 classic Blackberry

10 classic Blackberry has an anti-theft feature on this... the phone was wiped out to sell and the service has not been turned OFF... passwords are not found... and the phone is locked... This means that the phone is useless?  If so, this will be the last Blackberry buy... not impressed by the feature and warnings should be given until the phone is deleted that the feature should be turned off first...

    Any ideas?

If a deletion of precarious security has been run, or enter the wrong password 10 times and it is expected that the lock remains activated.

If the safety of the user deleted the device by going to settings > Security and privacy > Security wipe, he would have been invited to enter their password BlackBerry ID which will trigger the security wipe and turn off the anti-theft protection

In this case however, the only option is in contact with the seller and ask if they can sign in the device using their BlackBerry ID followed by disabling the anti-theft protection by following the steps listed above.

    I hope this helps!
