There is no other choice, I could well to select the specific device when scanning the document. the HP software named "scan to" default is by scanning the 1st device installed on any PC. is it possible to select a specific device during the scan on the network?

  After test, I found that the scan to application doesn't have the ability to designate between same model printers. This is normal on this printer laserjet consumer software.

  You can clear on crash reports if you wish, they are especially useful if you have a reproducible crash.

  I appoligize we do not have a program scrub for this software package. I would like that restart you the equipment in the following order. Turn off the router, printer & computer and reboot the router. Once the router is completely reloaded start the printer and the computer. Let me know if you can scan using the HP software. If you are unable to scan using the HP software open paint and try scanning from Microsoft Paint.

  When I tried upgrading to a newer version, a number of my functions of Norton 360 would not work and I got a pop-up message indicating that there is some sort of compatibility issue. I got eventually back to V4.

  No there aren't any 'problems' with Norton. Norton has released a fix for compatibility for Firefox 6 last Tuesday, a few hours after Firefox 6 is out.

  My Officejet 5615 works perfectly, but in recent months, it shows black scratches on document scanned on the glass. Bands go for the length of the scanned page, and the glass is clean.   Do you get the lines when you perform a copy?

  Try the ADF and glass to see the results.

  I met this document for How to clean the Scanner glass. The document is good for different models.

  Since there is no documentation for your printer probably, it is not recommended.

  Use your own descreation. It might help you understand how to remove the glass to clean it.

  If it has not the tab then it is probably sealed in it.

  Personally, if it were me I wouldn't remove my printer.

  You might want to consider appeal to HP, they may be able to offer you a discount on a newer model. Contact HP worldwide.

  The scanner interrupts the connection of WIFI halfway the scan. I can scan sometimes two or three pages, and then the next page will scan only partial and the connection is abandoned - typically freezes application (VueScan), while the scanner window indicates that the analysis is ongoing. If I wait until the scanner end I get only part of the page, with the background that half left in white.  That is what it is? Is the problem with VueScan, Mac OSX 10.10.1, OfficeJet 7500 or my WIFI network?

  I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times, but I couldn't find the answer. When you scan a document, Acrobat becomes the active window after each page is scanned.

  When you scan large documents, I am unable to do any other job. Is there a way to avoid this?

  Yes, Douglas, with Acrobat DC, this problem does not occur when using it on a Mac platform.
