  • character controlled with the mouse problem

    I would like to make a game in which the character is controlled with the mouse exactly like this game: http://flashdo.com/item/asteroid-wave-game/1053/full_screen_preview

    I guess that the author simply used the code snippet that changes the cursor to an object. However, this causes a game to break the question; If the user makes the cursor off the screen flash and then come back somewhere else, the spacecraft will Warp to that location. Full screen, because the user cannot make the cursor off the screen, this problem does not occur.

    The code snippet using drag-and - déposer, when cursor the user comes out of the screen, the object did follow the borders of the screen Flash. However, given that the user has to hold the left button of the mouse and the cursor does not disappear, it is not very useful.

    Is there a way to control the character exactly as the game above, but when the cursor leaves the screen, make the character well follow the borders of the screen Flash like the drag and drop code snippet don't?

    Also, is there a way to make the box where the character can move smaller than the scene?

    Thank you very much.

    If you check the startDrag function, you will see that it provides the inclusion of the two arguments.

    startDrag (lockCenter:Boolean = false, limit:Rectangle = null):void

    The first is to have the cursor centered on the object or not, and the second is where you can specify a rectangle which limits the area of traffic allowing drag.  What to do in smaller just step specify a rectangle for your needs.

    Since I use el capitan intermittently my wireless mouse goes crazy.  When you try to connect it begins to fill in the space. Make a stop down then its ok for a few days.  When connected to the photo and right click on a photo to go to the adjacent photo the cursor moves his own in a space photo 10 away!   The only thing I can do is arrested once more. • Dv5-1235dx integrated Bluetooth problem

    I bought a Hp DV5-1235DX week Best Buy last due to an urgent need to replace my old laptop before leaving the country.  I replaced the PCI WIFI card n Intel without problem and also installed the (numbers 489822-001 and 483113-001) internal Bluetooth module.  The bluetooth module appears in the HP utility wireless but says he is disabled and must be enabled in the configuration of computer utility.  When I go in the computer Setup utility to restart the computer and pressing F10 there is nothing in there regarding the bluetooth.  The Device Manager has nothing reguarding bluetooth either. When I try to install the driver appropriate for the BT, it is said that there no bluetooth installed, I guess because it is not enabled in the configuration of computer utility.

    I tried calling Hp support as well as the online chat with them, but they responded with answers canned of updates, I've already installed or he blames on the material, since I do not buy it from them.  Then they basically give up, I don't know who is where their technical assistance manual ends and they don't know what else to do.

    So I need help from someone who knows what happens to get this module working HP integrated Bluetooth. There is nothing wrong with the material, he just needs permit.

    Help, please.

    Thought about it, kind of! Last night I get the new HP update and then the last Windows Update, and once they have installed the installer of equipment poped upward and said that Bluetooth has been installed.  Works perfectly.  I'm trying to figure out exactly what makes the work and then I'll post.

    There are some prefs mousewheel, which control the behavior when you press the modifier keys.

  • Problem with USB mouse on satellite a215-s7416

    Hi all. I have had this problem since I got this computer in December. I hope someone can help me.

    I've been using an optical mouse wired usb. It works for about 4-5 weeks then it loses power. For the first days I can unplug and plug again and it works again. If I change the ports that it works as well. Finally, it stops completely, in all ports. I have plug into my office and it works fine. The first time it happened that I exchanged the mouse thinking it was defective. As soon as I plugged the new mouse it worked fine. After a few months ago, I switched to another brand of mouse. I still have the same problems. I found some info on removing USB hubs and support resettlement, which worked for a few days. I've also updated the BIOS, I did not well other updates.

    Anyone know what can be the cause of this? I'm going to exchange it again tomorrow and I am confident when I plug it in it will work fine.

    I saw a similar problem on a desktop PC, it was caused by bad drivers of USB.

    Have you installed drivers mouse Logitech or Microsoft, or any other associated USB drivers?

    Try to remove those, whether they are in conflict with the mouse.

    If this does not work, you can try to reinstall Windows by running the recovery (backup your data first of course: p)

  • Problems with wireless mouse when laptop computer HDMI is connected to a TV

    I have a HP Pavilion G series laptop PC, when I connect to the TV using the VGA interface I have no problem, when I connect to the TV via the HDMI so I have the problem. I use a Microsoft 2.4 ghz wireless mouse, laptop connected to an electrical outlet, new batteries in the mouse, if I move the mouse more than 1 foot of the tower top it becomes useless, erratic, moves 6 inches at a time, or not at all, totally out of control. The laptop is about 2 feet from the TV due to the length of the HDMI cable, and I am sitting about 12 feet out in front of the TV with the mouse. As I know, no problem if I find the mouse in 1 foot from the laptop and no problems even at 12 feet awy using the VGA interface. Production of mouse says that the mouse has a range of more than 20 feet. Someone has an idea of what might happen? Last note, I also lookes to the use of the processor at the time and it is only 8%. The mouse model number is 3500.

    Hello said,

    Thanks for the reply.  I'm glad that you were able to solve the problem by replacing the mouse.

    Good luck!

    How can I fix?

    Hello
    • What were the changes made before the problem occurred?

    You can try to restart the computer and check if it helps.

    If above does not help, you can read the following steps to disable the active desktop on the computer and check:

    a. to disable Active Desktop.
    b. right click on an area empty office, point to Active Desktop, and then click view as Web Page to clear the check box.
  • Problems with the mouse.

    On my Acer desktop / laptop, I can't remember the serial number or anything like that, but there is a touchpad mouse which I never use. I have a USB key with a "mouse in hand" that I use.

    Saturday evening closed pc cause lack of power. Sunday morning I gave him power, and he began.

    But when you go to the screen "" with applications (windows 8.1) started at the right end. Trying to get to the left of the screen I could do with the USB mouse, but when I left hand letting it got automatically to the right again.

    It's lying, that I could not work with applications to the left (or go to the app store or anything.)

    I tried "Control Panel" and click on "programs". All programs has been more than on a single screen.  And I started at the bottom. Try it with the mouse or the "arrow" s goes up, when I let go I come down to the bottom again.

    Anyone here know if mice "touchpad" do something bad?  Or a USB mouse?  Or a sick computer?

  • Problems with my mouse, and have not been able to find a solution to the research on various forums.

    Original title: mouse problems

    I have problems with my mouse and have not been able to find a solution to the research on various forums. Here are the symptoms:

    1. you must click several times to get the menus to open. Sometimes they are not just and sometimes they open with a single click flash but do not stick until I clicked several times.

    2 several times the menu drop down and seem to become transparent (not in looks) because when I click on something on the menu, he actually selects everything that is behind the menu drop down. For example, if I'm in powerpoint and you select an item in edit mode, it might work and here again he can just select the slideview behind the menu and expand. Or well, if I'm on a Web site, such as Facebook, and I chose to close the session, rather than enable the disconnection of the key, he chooses some ad is behind the part of the menu and redirects the page of this Web site.

    3. when I try to select a Word, words or sections as paragraphs, it performs several different things: continually select as soon as I let go of the mouse button, the jumps of color selection in another part of the document, or deselects the part of the text before I even let go of the mouse button.

    Here is what I tried:

    1. I had originally a usb wireless mouse. I changed the batteries and then got a new. Now I use a wired mouse.

    2 make sure all updates for Windows and Office 2010 are updated.

    3 has tried to update the drivers mouse, says that it is up-to-date. He restored, did not work. Uninstalled and restarted.

    4 Ran Windows Security Essential and Malwarebytes - found nothing.

    5. ensure that all the Toshiba updates were up-to-date.

    I don't know how the word this issue properly in order to find information about it. Everything I typed in search engines brings me other problems unrelated to this one.

    I am running W7 64 x Home Premium SP1, SP2 MS 2010 with a mouse Dell; Toshiba Satellite C655

    Well I have stumbled on the fix... looks like there was a problem with the HID-compliant mouse. The convenience store hardware detected and solved the problem. Everything seems to work properly again.

  • Problems with the mouse scrolling

    I have a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000 that I use on my laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit installed on it.

    Recently, the mouse wheel is crazy I've put it down it scrolls to the top, scroll down, done both or nothing. and this only happens when scrolling down, there is no problem of scrolling upward.

    I changed the USB port - in which I put the receiver - the only one directly attached to the motherboard. That gave me minutes of scrolling perfect without problem, but after having tried other ports he went crazy again.

    I tried to uninstall the driver from Device Manager and then put it back, but to no avail (I did for several ports)

    I should note that the problem itself is fluctuating, which sometimes means that the wheel is crazier than others and I tried the mouse on another laptop and the problem does not occur.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Problem with mouse input Manager with the mouse button

    Hello

    I'm trying different things to determine weather conditions, I'm going to use JavaFX for one of my projects. Here's one of my problems. I had a scene with only a circle inside. I want to run an event that would be returned when I press the left button of the mouse outside of the circle, then enter the circle with the mouse and the button is held down. However, it seems that the mouse gesture events are blocked when you press a button.

    Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    You're right, the "MouseMove" and "mouse entered" events seem to no longer be fired when a drag is in progress. A little annoying, but perhaps also by design.

    Drag mouse events on the other hand get programming at this point so you can use them for what you want. It seems THAT JFX suppose the node where the drag started is the one who cares for the event if you don't get the events drag on the circle directly. So the simple way only I can see for this is follow slide it the mouse on the "outer" and then detect what child was wriggling on manually. Something like this:

    final FlowPane rootNode = new FlowPane();
    rootNode.setOnMouseDragged(new EventHandler()
    {
        public void handle(MouseEvent mouseEvent)
        {
            System.out.println("Mouse dragged on root pane to " + mouseEvent.getX() + ", " + mouseEvent.getY());
            for (Node child : rootNode.getChildren())
            {
                if (child.getBoundsInParent().contains(mouseEvent.getX(), mouseEvent.getY()))
                {
                    System.out.println("Mouse is now over: " + child);
                }
            }
        }
    });

    Circle circle = new Circle(50);
    rootNode.getChildren().add(circle);

    Is not ideal, but it should work.

    Default you can also play with the stuff of Drag and Drop: http://download.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/drag_drop/jfxpub-drag_drop.htm

    In what you can do what you ask, but you will need to do a little more work to play nice with the larger world of DND. Start with something like this but:

    final FlowPane rootNode = new FlowPane();
    rootNode.setOnDragDetected(new EventHandler()
    {
        public void handle(MouseEvent mouseEvent)
        {
            System.out.println("Drag started on root node");
            Dragboard db = rootNode.startDragAndDrop(TransferMode.ANY);
            ClipboardContent content = new ClipboardContent();
            content.putString("Test");
            db.setContent(content);
            mouseEvent.consume();
        }
    });

    Circle circle = new Circle(50);
    circle.setOnDragEntered(new EventHandler()
    {
        public void handle(DragEvent dragEvent)
        {
            System.out.println("Drag entered on circle");
        }
    });
    rootNode.getChildren().add(circle);

    There may be other ways too, but that's what I found.

    Hope that helps,
    zonski
