DV6-1268nr against overheating.

The first thing, please don't tell me not to reapply thermal paste or to clean the radiator or use a cooling package or update the drivers or bios or change the speed of the fans to run at full speed, passing to energy saving, let the processor that 90% of its power. I've done all these and much more, it's my fault that I bought such a laptop... I'll never by Hp again.

I was expecting someone to answer but yes... I bought a new motherboard. The laptop is back to life.

I guess the problem's solved autonomous.

How to fix Apple 7 iPhone and iPhone 7 more overheating problem with these solutions:

    • There is a good chance that a third-party application is the cause of overheating Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone Plus 7. The best way to check this problem is by pressing the power and the Home button until the screen becomes black and then remove your finger from home while continuing to press power. Once you see the Apple logo - press and hold the volume up button until the springboard of the charges. If the appliance is in Mode safe tweaks will disappear under the settings menu. If the problem has disappeared, then you know that it is caused by a third-party application. You can try to uninstall one by one in order to track it down or go for a factory reset.
    • Before you Apple 7 factory reset and iPhone iPhone 7, it is recommended to wipe the partition cache of the smartphone (Learn how to clear Apple 7 iPhone and iPhone 7 more hiding). Thank you

I'm having the same problem. I noticed that my iPhone 7 became REALLY hot when I recover all my data to iCloud. I tried a restore, then even traded my iPhone for a new and the heat problem is still there. I think it's iOS or app related.

  • protection against overheating

I bought one a few weeks ago, the retina of the iMac, 4 K.   I enjoy from a PC back to the ground.   When I taught that we all had Macbook pro computers among teachers and it was fine.

The question is that I have a program that really needs the computer does not sleep.   I could do and attenuate the brightness of the screen to a minimum. My question is, over heating.   This unit has a fan in it to keep it cool, or I'd be best to get one of these small fans and do blow on the back of the unit.   I am concerned about overheating and failed to ask this when I had this wonderful beast.

The program is low on resources, but yet, I'm afraid.  It is a weather... Weathercat.

    Could someone guide me?

You don't need to worry about overheating. OS X and your iMac will work together to monitor the time and run the fans at the appropriate speed. Just set up your computer to never sleep and set the display to sleep in an idle time-out in system preferences.

    Hello

It is possible to upgrade the processor to a 2.4 GHz option.  The list of compatible processors and the replacement procedure is detailed from Page 96 of your & Maintenance Guide.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the graphics card because it is integrated into the motherboard and therefore, is not an evolutionary element.

I tried to integrate the amd sata driver but I still get a BSOD when it says 'starting windows' The goal is the dual boot run, but the problem at hand is to get the xp installation program to keep from crashing. Anyone have any ideas? I'm fairly certain that I did it correctly the wake, so what else is on the left.

    Hello

You do anything please read before any post.

How to dual boot with Vista (installed first) and XP 32 bit guide here.

You must prepare the XP CD before you do anything. All the information on it, you will find below.

    Downgrade XP 32 bit:

Decommissioning of this model is not always easy, and your model is designed to work well with Vista. Please check first that link written by Joshua Wood and concentrate on problems that may appear when you install the sound card in it.

Before going down do Vista backup. Here you have all the information, how do.

First you have to integrate your drivers Sata (only x 86 drivers) with nLite.

Here are the Sata drivers for you. Just unRAR it drivers with Winrar.

Here you will find the file .doc with guide how to integrate this with Windows XP Sata driver. (You will need to open the Microsoft Office).

Here you will find the file with the same guide *.pdf . (You must open the Acrobat Reader software. Download link for this program here. Select your language and your system it.).

Also, remember that you use at least version of WinXP SP2 . If you have not got the version SP2 here you can download this service pack and here you have a guide to how to integrate this with XP file written by nLite.

In nLite, you can even burn your new XP CD with these changes.

All the drivers, you will find in the guide of Cheryl General Guide of Downgrade XP for HP Laptops_Part 3.

If you have problems make me know about it. I'll try to help you as quickly as possible.

    Hi @bair ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv6-2155ee and overheating problems. Here is a link for troubleshooting overheating on the laptop.

I recommend to restore default BIOS. You can restore the BIOS with this document by selecting reload the default BIOS settings. This will restore all the settings back to the original if something has updated and working properly with the fans causing overheating.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • Overheating with Satellite L750-1ñ3 problem

Recently, I bought this model, but it is overheating CPU i7 2670qm in modern games at 92 ° C, especially in modern games again.

I am worried about overheating and I guess it's too.
What should I do? I've always guaranteed.

I measured the temperature with HW Monitor

    > It is placed on my knees with giggatech below Toshiba laptop cooler.

The laptop must be used appropriately, this means that the laptop should be placed on the table and you must make sure that there is enough free space to ensure good air circulation.

    > I don't understand what you mean under "power management", I just turn it on and play games normally
I guess that means Feliks Win 7 power management profile.
You can configure the power management for use with the adapter sector or battery mode, you can also create different plans that would support different parameters.

Here you can find beautiful description:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD12017W0001R01.htm

As you can see, you can change the method of cooling. This specifies a method of cooling CPU for maximum performance CPU is better battery life with reduced CPU performance. If the CPU fan noise seems too strong, a setting that maximizes the battery life will also cause the CPU fan turn on less frequently. In addition, you can change the processor power management settings: processor Minimum or Maximum processor States

By the way: do the laptop stops automatically? Usually every laptop supports protection against overheating and the laptop would be closed automatically if the temperature would be too high to avoid the equipment against damage

Fact is the devices all run high performance all in game and create a high heat dissipation is nothing unusual in playing games of high performance.

Is it just because it s a laptop and it s inclined to do?

I tried to increase the fan speed with riva tuner and precision, but no program allows me to access the utility of fan speed.
I presume this is because it s a specific card from the laptop... I also can't find the driver for this card from nVidia updates.

    Hello!

Are you using the Toshiba display driver? This is important because the pilot factory don t have protection against overheating and the graphics chip can be damaged.

In addition, this could also be an overheating problem. If you need to clean your laptop with a jet of compressed air that you can buy at a local computer retailer.

Last but not least, I would not try to change the speed of the fan or something else. This will be controlled automatically.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A300 overheated

    I have two problems.

    1. After installing windows 7 ultimate my A300-1eg started to overheat and shut down.
I know that BONES don't influense if laptop overheating or not, this nut the problem I have.

    2. I have taken stuff on HARD drive what program should I use to writing on DVD and recover factory settings, pre-installed Vista OS ond so on?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Your laptop has started to overheat after the installation of Win 7?
Have you noticed the same problem using Toshiba pre-installed OS?

What graphics card drivers did you use running Win 7?
Toshiba graphics card driver should be used as such driver supports protection against overheating. The chart control the GPU performance and the use of non-Toshiba drivers heat dissipation can lead to a higher temperature and overheating

With regard to the second question.
Usually the recovery disc creator Toshiba was preinstalled on your laptop that allows you to create the recovery DVD this application must be used to create such recover disk

If you didn t create this recovery disk and if you have formatted the partition where Vista is installed, then you will not be able to recover the device to the factory settings

In this case, you will need to order the disk recovery from here:
    https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

I bought a Toshiba qosmio g50-129 and I got it for about 9-10 months.

Now, whenever I play a game, it overheats and I get so far behind that he started 3-5 frames per second.

This occurs every 1-2 minutes and lasts 30 to 45 seconds, it makes a lot of noise and makes my computer lag a lot.

    Is "broken"?
I always he managed very carefully, never had a virus. I even formatted the C: drive to see if it the problem disappeared, he was gone for about 5 days, I only downloaded world of warcraft.

    What ive tried:

    Update all drivers.
Close all other applications, all unnecessary processes.
    Graphic abseloutely reduction minimum.

It has 512 MB graphic card, nvidia 9600 gmt or smthing.
    4 GB of ddr3 1 k mhz RAM memory
    2, 66 GHz processor. Intel core 2 duo t9550

    Hello

What graphics card drivers did you use?
You should always use the Toshiba graphics card driver since this driver supports protection against overheating!

Last week, I read on the 3rd page of party that this original nVidia graphics card driver has been removed nvidia page because it caused overheating of the GPU
I hope you didn t use the nVidia page graphics driver

    Second question;
Do you use the latest BIOS?
If this isn't the case, please update this!

  • Satellite A300D - stop overheating

Hello, first I want to say that my English is not very well but I try to explain my problem.

After a year and a half, I bought my laptop for a year and a half und he stop if every time I played something. The cooler is free and not blocked from something, but the ruling still he. So I need to but him higher the cooler under the laptop get more air but this also dint help me.

    What can I do?
Is this a problem of product know?
    What I've done wrong?

Psalm (if some Germans are here on the forum and you don't know what I mean I can tell you my problem in German and sry for my bad English) ;(

    Hi mate

As I understand the message, the laptop stops only by practicing a game
    Is this good?

In most cases, the blocked cooling modules could be the reason why the laptop stops automatically. Above all the dust and debris inside the laptop might prevent air circulation
But in your case this doesn't seem to be the reason

Which driver of video card you are using?
You should always use the Toshiba graphics card driver because such driver contains a protection against overheating. Pilots use not - Toshiba GPU may overheat the graphics chip.

Besides the thermal grease which is placed between the cooling modules and the CPU must be replaced for long time the thermal grease to dry and that could affect the cooling process.

I think the laptop technician should check this and must renew this fat.

  • Satellite 5100-201: overheating after several times

    I have a 5100-201 Satellite.
Recently, a screen problem surfaced: first described images are blurred, then scratches appear, usually the screen collapses provisional modus. I noticed that the laptop gets really hot, and I thought it must be a problem of overheating.

I cleaned empty the notebook, I even opened and checked that the fan rotates properly. Subsequently, the laptop worked once, the fan run constantly and the laptop does not get heated.

The next day, the redone problem surface again and this time I had still a black screen. Now, the laptop starts normally when I turn it on, but I know that after a while it will heat again.

Ah, I also updated the driver for the graphics card, but it did not help. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Thank you

To protect against overheating of the CPU has to a n internal temperature sensor. If the temperature of computer s reaches a certain level, the cooling fan is turned on or processing speed is lowered. Use the cooling method of the base configuration item in the Toshiba power saver.

In addition, it is very important that you use Notepad in the right position. The area near the gates of cooling module must be free because the fan needs to catch his breath.
It is important for the circulation of fresh air.

  • Satellite Pro U400 starts and overheating problems

    Hello

6 weeks ago, I bought a Satellite Pro U400. Shortly after that I bought, I noticed that the computer overheating. After 1 hour of use, it becomes very hot in the touchpad area, as well in the base of the computer and on the touchpad itself. It is very annoying because I almost burn my fingers with the touch pad.

The problems began 10 days ago. I had been using the laptop for an hour when it suddenly turned off without notice. Power outage? I don't know Don t. I looked like a sytem of overheating protection. My previous laptop had the same problem. After a few minutes, I was able to turn it back on.

Then it happened again a few days ago, but it took me 5 minutes to turn on. Yesterday, it happened again, and after 45 minutes without response, I went to bed. In the morning, I was able to turn it on.

This also happens when wifi is disabled, it is not only a problem with the wifi card, overheating of the system.

Am I the only one having this problem? I will try to send it back to Toshiba for a replacement or a refund.

Is this normal in a really new machine?

    Thank you

First, the warming of the touchpad is normal for almost every laptop, due to construction. Under this, there are the HARD drive and it produces heat. With my last books, and it was not bad, too.
But really to get so hot?

Due to the protection against overheating, it is normal that you cannot turn on your laptop immediately.
But the wireless card is not the device in question, because it's a very small piece of hardware and produce little heat.

You said, you had this problem with your notebook previous too. Let me ask you, when you use your notebooks? What your table surface there or is there no matter what on that table cloth?

What I can tell you right now is, to check your locations of fantilation for all dust or maybe you have objects near it so that hot air can not cool.
