Dv6 6130sl: problem with controller

Hi, I have a problem with my dv6 6130sl, especially with the controller network, controller of communications Simple PCI system management bus controller, ethernet controller and PCI devices.

Can you help me solve this problem?

Thank you

You are the very welcome.

You need this driver for the broadcom wireless card.

This package contains drivers for the Broadcom Wireless LAN Server supported in models cards mobile supported and operating systems.

File name: sp57965.exe

The Intel driver interface I posted (for comms controller simple pci) must have worked.

Try to install manually the driver for the device in pci controller simple comms by navigating to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

The file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp55100.  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected.

  • HP pavilion dv6-2150us: problems with the upgrade of processor for an i7-720qm on a hp pavilion dv6-2150us

    Hi all

    My friend recently bought an i7-720qm processor used to upgrade hp pavilion dv6 2 1 5 0 US and I

    summer giving a helping hand by making the upgrade.

    Since the 10 Windows running Google Chrome used up to 70% of the processing of an i3 - 330 m power

    processor, it seemed to be good upgrade to improve the performance of the laptop.

    We checked that the new i7 processor is compatible with the laptop (it is listed as supported by the)

    ( interview guide , page 108), and the seller assured us he tested the CPU on some different

    HP pavilion and it worked fine.

    But when I replaced the processor with the i7 processor i3 and tried to boot up the laptop, only the LED lights

    on the front and the setting of the power and volume buttons would light up periodically. The screen was black

    All the time.

    Thinking I might have made a mistake during the reassembly of the laptop I put the original i3 processor back in

    and it starts fine.

    I updated the BIOS of the F.1C version I found on the internet and once replaced the i3 with the i7 with the

    same results - display off, flashes periodically LEDs. The BIOS updated smoothly, and the correct version is displayed in the main menu of the BIOS.

    I am confused on what could be the problem with the upgrade, everything should work. Is there a BIOS update I have

    missed, or the problem elsewhere?

    Disassembly and reassembly are made with care, and we took care to avoid static electricity. All the rest

    on the laptop works well - I am writing this post on the laptop in question with the original i3 processor in place.

    Any help, advice or general guidelines as to what should be done would be really appreciated.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Hello

    I'm new here, so I don't know if this is the right place for this question, but here goes:

    I had problems with my touchpad, precisely with the two-finger-roll. It would sometimes stop working, but then set a few minutes. Today that work completely collapsed. I have read suggestions on how to solve this problem, I tried the HARD RESET, it did not help, I tried to juggle synaptics in Panel, which did not help either. Now, I have managed to completely remove the synaptics and cannot install it back.

    Can someone please help? The two-finger-roll was my main way of getting around, I feel so lost without her.

  • HP DV6-6145dx (problems with drivers wireless)

    Hello

    I recently installed a new hard drive as the factory, we were going kaput!  I have a HP DV6-6145dx.  Everything went well with the installation.  Even if I think I have a problem.  I ordered a copy of Windows 7 (32 bit).  And installed it.  Initially, the system came with the version (64-bit).  Everything, including display drivers and other work.  However, many can't find their drivers, IE: connector, PCI, USB, USB, network controller, ethernet controller, SM Bus controller.

    So I went on HP website to see specifications and find out what is the wireless card... It is said a gigabit 10/100/1000, which is right general (I'm not sure), so I'm integrated.  And unfortunately, I can't download all the drivers for this model, as they deal only in (64-bit) on the HP website.  Is all their help to get the internet working on the computer without having to install a (Windows 64 bit)?  And if not, nobody thinks that Amazon will bring back my copy of day of the (32-bit)?

    Thank you

    Fig of PA

    Hello:

    PC manufacturers are moving away of the 32-bit just like operating systems they once away from 16-bit operating systems.

    When this happens, the 32-bit drivers search becomes more of a challenge if it isn't an impossibility.

    You must first install the driver from AMD chipset which is not taken in charge of your PC and driver page.

    Who will install the SMBus Controller and the USB3 controllers.

    Download and install the first file listed.

    http://support.AMD.com/us/gpudownload/Windows/pages/raid_windows.aspx#2

    For the wireless card, I need to display the ID of the hardware for him because it may be one of several cards of different model installed.

    If you don't know where to find the hardware ID, please read the info on the link below.

    http://www.DeviceDriverFinder.com/blog/device-drivers/how-to-check-the-hardware-ID-for-a-Windows-device

    Once you provide this info, I'll give you the link of the wireless driver you need.

    I don't know if you are also aware or not, but your laptop comes with 8 GB of memory.

    Because you have installed a 32-bit operating system, you just lost the use of 4 GB, which is another reason, PC makers have moved to 64-bit operating systems.

    They can deal with much more memory that can a 32-bit operating system.

    If you want to rethink your decision, you can download the 64 bit version of W7 Ultimate at the link below and use the software product key Ultimate 32 bit, you purchased to activate it.  The product key will work on a 32-bit or 64-bit version.

    Then use this tool to put the ISO file downloaded on a flash drive or a DVD.

  • HP Dv6 Evny: Problem with finger Reader in 7214tx printer

    Hello I have install a finger printer reader to connect to windows 8 through finger print authentication.

    I installed the version of sensor 4.4.234 finger print driver. Version 6.0.100.276 HP simple pass.

    I thing all the drivers and sample pass software are up to date.

    But I'm tryring for three days. its gives an error

    That "looks like you are having problems you want to try again."

    Please help me if you can. I don't know where I am going wrong. I reset the computer. I installed the windows again. But I get the same error.

    I use windows 8. Please help me.

    FarooqAbdullah,

    Rats.

    Well, it is certainly possible that I missed something.

    It is also possible that the sensor has no - although it is rare, it happens from time to time.

    ========================================================

    Assuming for the moment that we have missed something and that the sensor itself is to blame, you have a few options:

    (1) have the part replaced / repaired - or fix the problem yourself.

    HP ENVY dv6 Notebook PC - Maintenance and Service of Guide

    See Page 71

    OR, if this option is available in your area:

    (2) ignore the sensor; work around it and buy a mini USB drive to use.

    HP SimplePass upgrade instructions

    See Page 21, section

    USB-Mini - Series 6 fingerprint reader / 8 series

    Disclamer: I own several of these Mini-lecteurs and used on computers laptops vintage, a desktop computer, and on a small notebook that does not have its own fingerprint sensor.  I don't have a vested interest in the company that sells - I'm just a user of the product.

  • HP Pavilion dv6-2160 problem with upgrade of the disk

    I am trying to upgrade the drive in my dv6.  The current disc works well, but I managed to fill up the 300 GB or so on it.  I got a new 750 GB 7200 RPM Hitachi drive.

    So, I want to clone the existing to the new and larger drive.  Here is what I tried:

    • Bought a copy of Acronis True Image & burned a boot DVD
    • attached an external 1 TB drive USB for a backup on the laptop drive
    • put the new 750 GB drive in an external USB enclosure
    • tie the 750 GB drive to the laptop
    • Put the boot Acronis DVD in the DVD drive on the laptop
    • Rebooted the laptop and started on the DVD of Acronis
    • made a backup of the laptop drive on the 1 TB drive
    • perform a restore of the backup on the 1 TB drive for the new 750 GB drive
    • removed the original from the laptop drive and replaced it with the 750 GB drive
    • powered on the computer... and nothing happens

    At this point, I can't boot using the boot DVD or even press F10 to go into the BIOS.  When I put the disc original back in, it starts very well and I can restart and use F10 to access the BIOS.

    So, the question is this: why does not the new 750 GB drive?  AND... Why it won't let me boot from a USB device or DVD with the 750 GB drive in the laptop?

    Well, my suspicions were correct. I deleted all partitions on the new disk and put it in the laptop as main drive and allowed me to boot from the DVD drive.  So, I booted the Acronis software and am now cloning the old disc (USB connected) on the new drive and it is automatically re-sizing of partitions.

    Thanks for your help pepe99 & erico you two in this.

  • Problem with controller network after installing win 7

    Installed win 7 and now I'm missing network controller driver.  Existing driver is Intel Pro Wireless 2200.  Thanks for the help.

    You are the very welcome.

    You will need to manually install the driver then.  The driver should work because I used it on my Intel 2200 Pro on W7.

    Download the zip file instead (first file).  Copy on the laptop with the Intel Pro and unzip it into a folder.

    Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.

    Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software method and navigate to the unzipped driver folder.

    Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install this way.

    Hello:

    The only suggestions I can offer are the following, if you have not already done...

    1 try the driver W7 support page for your laptop.

    This package contains the Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad driver for laptop models supported and operating systems. The driver provides some advanced features such as PalmCheck, EdgeMotion, tap zones and double-tap tap-to-select.

    File name: sp46509.exe

    2. try directly from Synaptics touchpad driver.  Try the W10 and W8/7 driver... pilot.

  • Problem with controller extension

    Hello

    I need to do some required fields on the credit application page in the Oracle credit management module. Standard personalization "Required" property does not check if fields are filled. He said only that the field must be filled.

    So I need to extend the controller.
    The page/oracle/apps/ar/creditmgt/app/webui/ARCMCREDITAPPPAG has 7 controllers. I want to thank the controller in the region where are my fields - creditAppRegion1CO.

    I did my XXcreditAppRegion1CO class:

    package xx.oracle.apps.ar.creditmgt.application.webui;
    Import oracle.apps.ar.creditmgt.application.webui.creditAppRegion1CO;

    Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAApplicationModule;
    Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException;
    Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAViewObject;
    Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAPageContext;
    Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.beans.OAWebBean;

    SerializableAttribute public class XXcreditAppRegion1CO extends creditAppRegion1CO
    {
    ' Public Sub processFormRequest (pageContext OAPageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
    {
    super.processFormRequest (pageContext, webBean);

    If (pageContext.getParameter ("Go")! = null)
    {
    String xxKwota = pageContext.getParameter ("TrxAmount");
    If (xxKwota is nothing)
    {

    throw new OAException ("Enter TrxAmount", OAException.ERROR);
    }
    }
    }
    }

    Then I put XXcreditAppRegion1CO.java on the server at the location $JAVA_TOP/xx/oracle/apps/ar/creditmgt/app/webui.

    Then I set the controller of the ArCmCreditAppRegion1 region

    instead of oracle.apps.ar.creditmgt.application.webui.creditAppRegion1CO I'm going xx.oracle.apps.ar.creditmgt.application.webui.XXcreditAppRegion1CO.

    When I go back to the page I get an error:

    oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.ClassCastException: xx.oracle.apps.ar.creditmgt.application.webui.XXcreditAppRegion1CO cannot be cast to oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAController...

    HelloW!

    Sorry for my bad English, I'm from the Russia.
    A few days ago, I bought Satellite L30 - 10 X with W Vista on board. In my opinion, that this OS does ' t very good on this computer, so I install W XP.

    I have some problems with drivers. At first, I don't know which model I have: PSL30 or PSL33? I have download all the drivers for the two models. But after installation, computer doen't find the drivers for the Ethernet controller and PCI device...

    Hello

    Satellite L30-10 X belongs to the series of PSL33E. This number located on the label on the bottom of the device!

    You must choose this number in the form of driver download for XP compatible drivers.
    I put t know why you are not able to install the LAN driver. I have the same laptop with Vista and I've install the XP and all the drivers will work perfectly.

    I assume that you have installed the drivers in the wrong order. Please take look in the Toshiba installation instructions txt file. In this order, install the driver! This is important.

    I think that you should install XP again to ensure that the registry clean, then download and install the XP drivers compatible as mentioned in the installation instructions file.
