Dv8t-1100 CTO entertainment No.: shortage of pilots after Conversion Windows 10

Thanks for any help with my problem. Model # VF836AV. Windows 7 Pro upgrade system

After the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, I have 5 devices without drivers. Before I converted, I ran the compatibility check and everything checked ok. I have not determined what happens if problems initially except when I stopped the system I get a sound similar to disconnect a direct contact with speaker. I don't know if this is related to the missing drivers.

1. three basic features are missing drivers. Descriptive information for each as follows:

Locations for all three respectively the bus PCI - bus PCI 5, device 0, function 3-5, device 0, function 4 - PCI bus 5, device 0, function 1

I ran the HP Wizard and he finds no updates for my system configuration. I'm not sure what I am looking for drivers or where to find them. I'm not familiar with the basic system devices. I saw in the forum where other configurations had the same problems, with links to driver for the solution, but none for my setup. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

gwashing

You are the very welcome.

The multimedia controller is the TV tuner and if the pilot I posted did not work, there is no other alternative.

Try navigating to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the driver and see if it installs like that.

The unknown device 0004 must have installed using the latest driver that I posted (3D driveguard).

Try also to manually install this driver.

Windows 7 Pro. Built 3 years ago this month. Motherboard is dead because of damage of water, but not before I could test the CPU and RAM, which has survived intact. Bought a NEW replacement MB of HP parts store. Put it in. It was obvious that the machine was to start the system, but no video. I put on an external monitor. Video about it. Looked at this forum and based on suggestions from the experts on what causes black LCD screens, has decided to buy a strainer as it could have been a cable on the whole of the sieve or video converter problem continuous alternative back light works fine, but I wanted the fixed machine and doing the problems of individual components on the screen. Assembly of the new screen does not work. Windows found the webcam and audio on the new screen (already present with the old screen), but all to change the resolution and rotation is grayed out with a screen.

No light flashes at startup. The new motherboard BIOS is updated. I did not burn in tests.

I do not have a second MB work through the ordeal, so I guess that's the new motherboard, as the cover of the keyboard does not work (not that it worked very well before - another thread). Can I have another motherboard spent the night, or return everything and just buy a new laptop, which would probably not be almost as beautiful as the one I have (230 GB SSD, second disk, screen 18.4 "HD) any thoughts? I had to walk away for a day because of the frustration. It is not like putting a motherboard in a desktop computer - even though I'm about half an hour to go back.

I got a new MB by FedEx, installed today and fortunately use my laptop.

  • No sound HDMI on dv6t-1100 CTO

I have a laptop dv6t-1100 CTO Entertainment. When I bought it, it is installed with Windows Vista. Then, I was able to connect it to my home theater HDMI system by simply choosing the HDMI output. Since I upgraded to Windows 7, when I attach the HDMI cable, the image is on the TV, but the sound is still coming through the computer speakers. My sound is IDT HD sound. I opened the settings to change the HDMI Audio output, but only the following choices;  Speakers and headphones double (default), headphones double independent and SPDIF (digital output HP dock screws). I tried to change the default to the last with no difference. I think I have the latest driver installed. Please help, as I want to connect the laptop to my home theater system to run a special program vacation I. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It worked! Thank you, David.

  • Only LED blinking indicates problem of CPU on laptop HP Pavilion dv6z-1100 CTO. Can I reformat?

HP Pavilion dv6z-1100 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC

I was in the middle of an update and I think the power cord of the computer has been deleted. When it restarted, the headlights light up, the fan turns on, but the screen remains blank. I tried a hard reset. I took the memory card and reset in the slot. The flashing of LED code is 1, which indicates a problem with the CPU. I tried to start up and holding F8 or F10 but nothing happens. I also managed to lose my restore disk (if I had one). Can I have same reformt with a CPU error? What am I doing here?

    Thank you

The description you give sounds as if you were in the middle of an update of the BIOS.

One of the strongest warning we give to members is forever off power when in the process of updating the BIOS.

The reason is that a member who fails to Apay attention to warning learns they did a laptop cheap a lovely electronic device, plastic with the utility of the brick.  That's why's called it "bricking" your laptop.

If this is the case, you will need to have the card system maintained by HP or a specialized repair company BIOS.

Is your laptop still under warranty?

If you see an error like this then you will not be able to do anything with the laptop until the corrupted BIOS file is resolved. So the answer to your question is no.

  • try to install audio Beats for Win7 6 t - 1100 CTO

I received a laptop of 6 t - 1100 CTO and fallen into a real SSD and installed Win7 x 64 on it. Everything works without problem with appropriate drivers (or at least the drivers who work) except the audio is terrible. It works, but it's really tin - y and the sub does not at all anything. I tried to download a few beats different drivers from different sources and I get an error "system does not meet the minimum requirements. I contacted HP support and basically they said that this model is specially designed for Win8 - implying that there are physical limitations of some sort. I could download a 3rd party eq control system, but if the system does not use the sub, there is only so much I can do with the "regular" speakers I would like to get the beats software - or at least to get the system to recognize and use the subwoofer. Any help would be certainly appreciated!

    Hello:

I think that you must install the driver IDT W8.

  • Dv6t 2000 CTO Entertainment Notebook with i7 processor 72QM to Max memory upgrade?

I have a dv6t with i7 720 m build processory about 3 years ago. I think there clarksfield CPU. I have a 2 x 2 gig installed for total of 4gig from the original version.   I wonder (assuming that Win 7 64 bit family premium that takes in charge until 16gig), this laptop only supports 8gig?  I ran a tool and it has a reference to logic/Chipset memory banks maximum installable memory of 32gig and a reference to the controller memory memory install Max 8gig.  So, what gives? The laptop will support the sticks of memory 2x8gig or just the sticks of memory 2x4gig?  The laptop DV6T 2000 CTO Entertainment.  If it supports 16 gig, I would just buy one of the sticks 8gig rather than 2x4gig. And maybe try to use 2 concerts with the 8gig send me a 10gig for now... or just wait to see if I need a 2nd 8gig.  And an upgrade of the bios will support the 16 gig?

I thought I would update my own question with the truth and the response of work that hopefully someone other than stubmles help in this.  But in a nutshell the CTO of 2000 models DV6t you could order 2009 about DO DO support 16gig and NOT only 8 GB. I have 2 slots. I have the quad 720QM first edition, yes first edition. The Intel site and the sites of Auditor memory are FALSE!  The saying has been 1st gen Quad cpu supports no more than 2x4gig = 8gigs.  In fact, one of my tools suggests that I can put in up to 32gig assuming I can find sticks of memory 2 x 16gig I don't even think is still for sale not to mention affordability. Spread the word because I hope this helps others. I bought memory to geek and thought that I would be lucky since I read several comments and observations at various locations, which suggests that they were trying to 16gig and indeed he has worked for the 720QM processor.  I did have to update my BIOS HP offers that I have to install to 2010ish, as opposed to the 4 or so that are available today for my model, but I think that have been updated to support my model didn't require much more. I carried out memory tests too in 5 iterations without problem, and in fact it starts immediately without any problem with WIN 7 home premium, recognizing the sticks. I also checked the CPU64z tool for the memory tab.

  • Ordered a 7000-dv6t Quad Edition but received a dv6t-7000 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC

I ordered a Quad dv6t-7000 with Win7 Ultimate edition (all confirmed in my writings to order), but a dv6t-7000 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC has been delivered. I just found out that's what they were sent instead. What is the difference in the features? Do I need to return it for all the same features that I ordered?

Also, my portable drive was supposed to have a backlit keyboard, but the laptop delivered is not... unless there is a way to activate backlit. I tried to find out how to activate the backlit keyboard, but not him have not yet discovered. I didn't find any documentation anywhere on this subject.

    Thanks for any help

    Hey,.

Dv6t-7000 CTO will be the same, however, we use the CTO marker (configured to order) on any model with some customizations made in the order. Even if you adjust the hardware options, if you have added any software or anything this is improved during the purchase process, then he would give the CTO marker. Don't worry, you have received the correct computer

For the backlit keyboard, on most of the models the hotkey to activate it is Fn + F5. The F5 F4 on some models, the correct key will have 3 small squares side by side.

  • HP Pavilion dv7t-7000 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC - Upgrade processor

    Hello

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have a HP Pavilion dv7t-7000 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC.  Due to a new job, I need to update my processor of the current 2.30 GHz (see exact specifications below, please) of at least 3.0 GHz.

Is there a processor 3.0 GHz there that is compatible with this particular computer? I called tech support and they told me they don't know. I don't know who else to ask.

This computer was purchased just a few months ago (before I got the new job). I really don't buy a new computer, if possible, if I can upgrade the processor in it.

Here are the current processor specifications:

    Intel Core i7 3610QM
    Codename Ivy Bridge
    RPGA Socket 988 B package
    The 22nm technology
Specification Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz

    Thanks in advance.

Well, it seems that one (that I found) 3.0 GHz processor that Intel made for my chipset (HM77 Express Chipset) and it's the Extreme edition i7-3940XM (http://ark.intel.com/products/71096/)

Priced at $1,000 +, it looks like I'll be shopping for a new computer.

Don't know if anyone from HP read the peer forums, however, I won't buy another HP product.

This machine had problems outside of me needing to upgrade the processor for my own personal reasons. Your support is grossly lack in all areas even pull your techscannot model with the serial number.

Visitors should not go out on the Internet for questions of research like this.

  • WiFi on/off button and indicator acute/severe problems in HP Pavilion dv8t-1000 CTO

I bought a HP Pavilion dv8t-1000 CTO in December.  Within a month, a hard drive has failed and another was provided under the guarantee.

But now there are new problems. First of all, the Treble/Bass indicator keeps popping up without reason and the bar keeps increase or decrease. Then there is the problem of Wifi. It seems that my Wifi continues to go without reason. I thought that the two issues were linked. But I'm beginning to see that my Wifi turned off only when the laptop is moved. Just the slightest movement will come out, BUT it happens every time the laptop is moved.

I also noticed that when these problems are occurring, the 'secret' or the Wifi icon on the media smart bar (above the keyboard) will not match the icons on the screen. Twice the mute icon was red in the smart media bar, but the volume was on. Sometimes the Wifi went nuts and off, because of traffic and then the Wifi light turned back to blue on the media smart bar, but wifi is always off.

Once both the 'secret' and wifi in the smart bar icons does not match what it says on the screen. WiFi is turned off, but the icon was blue. The speakers were on, but the silent icon was red. I activated the wifi back and the mute icon on the awesome bar, went from red to white.

I am Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit slot.
