HP, drivers windows xp for this product are less satisfactory, really, there are a total of 6 drivers where none of them are basic drivers. Thanks for any idea that someone can provide the research of these drivers.

Hello:
According to the specifications of your PC, you have the Realtek audio driver:
But first, I recommend that you only install the driver UAA MS for XP service pack you have installed, and then restart.
MS UAA for XP SP2, here
MS UAA for XP SP3, here
Here is the link to the Realtek site. Accept the agreement, download and install the 3rd driver on the list.

Equium L40 - 10z PSL41E - cannot install audio driver WinXP
Hello!
I'm having a problem with the installation of the Windows XP sound card drivers
Computer laptop informatio, Toshiba Equium L40 - 10z (bought from PC World) PSL41e
2 GB Ram DDR2 - 667 Mhz
Core 2 [email protected]
120 GB hard drive
Intel GMA 945 graphics card with shared memoryI can't find drivers for my laptop, the specification is indicated above. I have windows XP with service pack 3 installed and the system is unable to install drivers Realtek High Defination or audio drivers Realtek AC 97 ". I even tried the latest drivers version 1.86 but not its use.
I read the other posts on this forum and have tried the other model audio drivers as well, it seems that after running the installer from several other realtek audio drivers for windows XP THAT is of no use. I even tried to add material manually through the Device Manager and have to install these drivers for realtek high definition audio and the realtek ac 97 audio drivers.
Of course, this helps the drivers to install, but windows cannot activate the material with an error code 10 with a note of explanation on behalf of the driver in Device Manager.
I also tried to install the drivers of toshiba A100/A200 without exploitation, however, I read somewhere that there is a windows XP patch that is required to be installed, so that windows detect the chip high definition, which is on the motherboard. If one can provide a direct link to a driver with the .inf file that will have the information for the material, or if someone can advise (or provide a link for) according to microsoft update is required for windows XP, in the appropriate hardware detection, will be really useful.
I'm also sorry for my bad English I'm unable to articulate with the type of problem, I faced. But if anyone knows of a solution and additional information is needed, I will be happy to provide you with everything I know.
I'll be very grateful to anyone who helps address this issue. Looking forward to a positive response :).
> have windows XP with service pack 3 installed
To my knowledge, that the XP SP3 is not published official. Only a beta version is available.
Then go back to SP2!> the system cannot install drivers Realtek High Defination or Realtek AC' 97 audio drivers
Realtek AC 97 audio driver is not compatible! You must use the driver from Realtek High definition.> Of course, it helps the drivers to install, but windows cannot activate the material with an error code 10 with a note of explanation on behalf of the driver in Device Manager.
The problem is that you have not installed the MS XP patches that are necessary to get the sound working.

Hello
where to download the driver? On the European site? Maybe you should try the Canadian site, they sometimes have some drivers who hasn´t europe and maybe you can find the audio driver that matches:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Otherwise, there is another option: find out which audio chipset is installed, visit the website of manufacturers of this chipset and download the drivers. Him to work.

Equium A100: Audio driver does not not WinXP
Hi, when I bought my laptop I had Vista installed on it, I installed win XP, but I had no drivers, but I downloaded Toshiba & Utilities CD tools that have all the drivers for my lapop, everything works well only realtek audio driver does not work correctly when I restart my pc error appears, I made the screenshot of it it maybe you can help me with this problem.
Here is the link to see srceenshot: http://rstheclan.googlepages.com/error.JPG
Have you installed the two KBs (knowledge base) of Microsoft before running the installation program driver sound?
You can try and download the audio drivers manually and give it a reinstall. Not to mention that this error message, play sound in Windows?
Need drivers, you can find here: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com (Support & downloads)Another question. What Service Pack you are using? Always SP2 or SP3 brand new? With the last of them, there are sometimes problems with the realtek sound card drivers.

I tried to install a Maestro 1.2 and 2 audio driver on my computer second hand, but it will not recognize the drivers. I use the correct driver or is their particular way to reinstal audio drivers?
Hello
Where did you find the audio driver for this camera?
I checked the Toshiba Europe download page, and there is only an audio driver for Win 98.
This unit is very old. You don't need a special sound driver if you have installed a W2k or its WinXP.The system is compatible with Sound Blaster Pro and Windows Sound System. -

Hello:
There is no information online about what audio chip model has your laptop.
Please post the hardware ID of the device you see listed in the device as a Multimedia Audio Controller Manager and I will see then if there is a driver W7 or equivalent driver, which you can use.
To find the hardware ID, click the multimedia Audio Controller in Device Manager.
Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the window multimedia Audio Controller.
Now you will see a drop-down list of property and it will be set to the Description of the unit.
On this list and select the 2nd (Hardware ID).

HP Pavilion g7-2251dx: Windows 10 IDT high definition Audio Driver Bug report.
OK after upgrading Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 Home (The Free Upgrade) I have noise problems.
IDT Sound Drivers (IDT High Definition Audio Codec):
Speakers integrated into the laptop: they its OK but not as they did in point 8.1 of Windows.
I've tested on the following:

Played a Youtube video (sounded OK)
Played a video that I recorded on my PC (its OK)
Played a show or a movie on Netflix (sounded OK)The portable built-in Microphone seems to be working well.

Play music (sounded bad)
Played a Youtube video (sounded bad)
Played a video that I saved on my PC (sounded bad)
Played a show or a movie on Netflix (bad sound)
In Windows 8.1 speakers embedded in the laptop and the Turtle Beach headset Z11 resembled stereo and strong (perfect).
The helmet Microphone seems to be working very well.
I plugged my headphones Z11 of Turtle Beach to HP from my sister who still has windows 8.1 and my Turtle Beach Z11 helmet sounded very good.I plugged my Z11 of Turtle Beach headset in my other sisters that has Windows 10 HP (she has upgraded to Windows 7) and my Z11 of Turtle Beach headset resembled Mono Stereo Instead of.
It is also plugged into his ear and they looked like Mono Stereo Instead of.
I tested another helmet my Turtle Beach Headset (This Headset plugs into the USB Port) P11 The Sound is perfect it sounds like stereo and not like Mono. However when I spoke into the microphone, I could hear my voice coming through the headset speakers (mainly the hearing talk me)

Then I restarted my computer and I reinstalled the drivers of HP's Windows 8.1.
After restarting my computer again, I checked to see if everything was back to normal, but it is not yet sounded even.
When I right click on the "speaker" icon and then choose playback devices here is what was posted:
The top unit is called:
Its digital display (AMD high definition Audio Device) not connected
OK, this is Normal.
The central device is called:
Speaker / device by default HP (IDT High Definition Audio Codec)
OK, this device is also Normal.
The background feature is called:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A temporary Solution:After you have solved the problem by reading through countless messages try every difficulty that none of them I went into Control Panel and he took a glance at the the Dolby Advanced Audio Control Panel now I never tested with this before so far but I was able to fix the Audio questions here is exactly what I did :
When you use your built-in Laptop speakers or possibly other speakers:
Right-click on start (the white Windows icon located to the left of the bottom of your screen)
Click on Control Panel
Click on hardware and sound
Click Dolby Advanced Audio
Click on listening experience
Check Dolby Advanced AudioI've tested on the following:
Play music (sounded great)
Played a Youtube video (sounded great)
Played a video that I saved on my PC (sounded great)
Played a show or a movie on Netflix (sounded great)When you use your headset from Turtle Beach Z11 or possibly other headphones:
Right-click on start (the white Windows icon located to the left of the bottom of your screen)
Click on Control Panel
Click on hardware and sound
Click Dolby Advanced Audio
Click on listening experience
Uncheck Dolby Advanced Audio now, your headset should ring loud instead of sound like Mono and stereo and crappy.I've tested on the following:
Play music (sounded great)
Played a Youtube video (sounded great)
Played a video that I saved on my PC (sounded great)
Played a show or a movie on Netflix (sounded great)You need to keep the box checked when you use your built-in Laptop speakers, otherwise they will sound like Mono and crappy.
So basically when you plug in your headphones uncheck the box.
So basically when you disconnect your headset check box.
If you have messed with the implementation in and want to return to the default value:
Click Advanced settings
Click on ResetIDT Sound Drivers (IDT High Definition Audio Codec):

I could not Downgrade from Windows 8.1 because it said that files deleted even if windows.old was still there, so I just did a Reset instead. Thanks to my temporary fix Audio problems are gone, but I hope that HP releases new drivers, so I can't use my temporary Solution.
Also I hope HP or Microsoft releases new drivers for the Synaptics TouchPad so that people can save their settings.
This has been corrected by James Yerkes on Microsoft Community:
Open regedit.exe
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\InstallNote it's the LOCAL MACHINE, not the CURRENT USER.
Search for a key in the installation folder called DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade
Double click and change the value to 0
Now go back in the Panel of Synaptics, put all how you like and restart.
in any case if someone has problems with Windows 10 Post here and I'll see if I can help you but I recommend resetting your PC in recovery Menu so that most of the problems will be solved then I would install all my drivers from the manufacturer.
I am currently using window 8.1 1 driver from AMD and HP drivers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This may not work for everyone, but if you have the same laptop and headphones I don't then it should work.I posted this as well on Microsoft Community:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey everyone here is an update.
Since microsoft rolled out updates for windows 10 mainly the updated driver to update I had is no longer using the old methods such as the use of the old HP drivers to this windows 10 drivers working for my laptop then everything works fine.
I always use drivers from AMD for My APU (CPU and graphics card), but everything else is Microsoft I using Microsoft drivers for the month now and have had no problem.
I hope that everyone knows success with these drivers.

IDT audio driver for Windows XP
Hello
I have a DV7-1050ef downgraded to XP. I know that HP does not support Windows XP more.
Anyone found yet an IDT audio driver for Windows XP? I have already tried many, none of them worked.
I also installed the UAA kb888111.exe driver. Do I need to install anything else before the driver IDT?
Thank you!

EliteBook 1040 G3: Audio driver for Elitebook 1040 G3
Hello
I have recently reinstalled Windows 7 on a laptop G3 1040; but problems with the audio driver.
Driver is not installed and I tried Softpaq installation, Assistant to the support and also the HP site but could not get the Conexant driver to work.
Also Device Manager shows an unknown Multimedia Audio Controller. But the Conexant drivers solve this unknown hit-and-run driver.
Finally, the laptop has Bang & Olufsen Audio, but the only display on the HP site option is Conexant audio driver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
