DVCProHD to HDCAM uncompressed?

We finished our edit here in the remote and mountainous desert Montana forest.

I bring to Adobe first Pro XML in my 7.0.3 FCP timeline. So far so good.

We have published with proxy files that had been captured in DVCPRO HD.

For the level of quality that we demand, I need to go back and start from the records of the source, uncompressed HD.

Can I also take necessary with head and tail fasteners - if all goes well.

I see a few steps:

(1) - each clip referenced correctly the name of appropriate Ribbon.

(2) - how to replace DVCProHD with uncompressed Ribbon with my magic wand.

I know that this last part of this should be easy - right?

Also should I make an impression on each clip, name of the coil, the source time etc.. ???

Cameraman masquerading as an editor...

Just letting you all know that I am in the middle to help colleagues Montana here... I had covered it.

  • Photos: import uncompressed raw files

I've updated my camera (Sony alpha 7 ii) with the 2.0 firmware update. Now I can put my photos in uncompressed raw format. However, both of my macs (Yosemite 10.10.5) do not seem to support this format. Neither Apple Fotos 1.0.1 - she any images from an Sd Card and I can see them for a few seconds in my library before they darken one after the other. Thanks in advance for any help.

The integrated gross Apple can't necessarily all RAW formats, your camera can produce. Generally, they don't support the "plain vanilla" default format. Until Apple releases an update for the RAW processor, you will need to use another treatment of RAW or switch it to compressed RAW. The image you see "a few seconds" is the preview jpeg embedded in the RAW file.

  • Format "uncompressed" IMAQ AVI2 create?

Since the upgrade to SP1 2012 LV, I noticed that the most recent module "AVI2 IMAQ create" does not seem to write .avi files uncompressed in the same way as the old one (IMAQ AVI create).  For compatibility, I need to use video uncompressed; It seems that the new version allows only "uncompressed Y800 Grey Scale" video, which is not understood by my (W7 x 64) operating system, so Windows Explorer cannot draw miniatures or open in media player - this is useful for previewing and organization of the videos.  ImageJ and VirtualDub have no problem opening videos.

It is not clear what form uses "AVI IMAQ create" older default - whatever it is, it worked well! Various astronomy forums have suggested to install ICcapture to provide a codec Y800 for WMP, but it does not work for me.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you

Microsoft did not change this, Chrome has done. Compressed files shouldn't be there, but you have lost the regular folder option. It is an update of Chrome, (mid), is responsible. Here are two patches.

  • Uncompressed AVI crashes to Premiere Pro

    Hello world

Relatively new Premiere Pro user here (Cc 2015.5).  I'm trying to import uncompressed AVI files containing UYVY video and PCM audio.  When I try to import on the file menu, or drag the AVI the chronology of the outside of the program, I get the "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 has stopped working... "Windows error message.

I am running Windows 10 on a machine with 16 GB ram, Core i7 - 5820 k and AMD over-pants W5000. I did have problems with MPEG-2, H.264 or any other type of file.

I also tried to import the same clips on my desktop computer running Windows 8.1 and with even higher characteristics, and it also crashed.

The files do not appear to be corrupt, they play in VLC and Windows Media Player and attributes look correct when the file is analyzed with Gspot.

    Any ideas?

I would not recommend to use the same ATI card to resume.  Or at least, I don't think this is the ideal solution.

That would be the ideal solution.

  • Sony A7sii RAW uncompressed still not read by LIGHTROOM update Photos

Why my Adobe Lightroom update not bed, display, my Sony A7sii RAW uncompressed photographs?

According to list of camera-supported from Adobe, the A7s II was first based LR 6.2/2015.2.  In my view, it was also the version supporting the raws uncompressed several other Sony cameras.  Your version of LR supports raws compressed since your Sony camera?  If Yes, then your camera must be something different year II A7s, maybe an A7 II which was first supported by LR 5.7.1.

Despite confusion over which version of LR you have, what device you have, or that it makes a difference that the raws are compressed vs uncompressed for support for your camera LR, the main problem seems to be that you have a subscription of CC, but are always on LR 5.7.1.

The safest way that this is the case, is that your operating system is not compatible with the new version of LR so the CC app gives you only the old version of LR.

If you are on a Mac then you need OS x 10.9 or newer to run LR 6/2015.   If you are on Windows, then you will need to be running at least LR 6/2015 requires a 64-bit Windows 7 operating system.  So if you're running XP or Vista, or a 32-bit OS then LR 6/2015 is not compatible.

If your operating system seems pretty new then it could also be that you have LR 6/2015 on your computer, but you have been using the shortcut LR 5 start LR and just need to find the most recent shortcut.

Everything must be clear once you answered Geoff as to what operating system you are using and whether you are using CC app.

For reference, here's the list of mount from Adobe:

Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw

And here is the requirements for LR 6/LR CC 2015:

  • HD subtitles encoded in HDCam by BlackMagic UltraStudio Express

I was able to go to HDCam tape via Final Cut 7 and my BlackMagic UltraStudio Express. So I know that the problem is not with the box or tape. Van all the settings are correct.

I'm having a problem going band thanks to a new installation of first CC via the UltraStudio Express. Not only am I do not receive captions throughout, there is no picture at all. The image appears correctly through the Ultrastudio if the Edit to tape window is not open. But once the change of band process is engaged, it puts a black screen to strip.

I see the captions in my calendar and they read on the computer screen when the sequence is played.

Any ideas on what setting and/or the drivers I must be wrong that could cause this problem?

    Thank you

    Jason Wood

If you experience problems for the legends to write on the tape, follow up with the card - if it is Blackmagic, then go to them and explain the problem.

Here, we can solve the issues are export and legends in MOV or MXF integration, exporting to the sidecars of legend and legend to the monitors transmission errors.

As a general rule, if you are having problems with captions go out anywhere, for the band, or if not, make sure that the framerate caption exactly the frame rate of the sequence you have. In regards to the image not being don't not, check with the manufacturer of material or the card.

  • Sony a7ii 14-bit uncompressed raw

Hi there, it someone know if lightroom 5.7.1 will support sony a7ii 14-bit uncompressed raw files or do I have lightroom 6

    dj_paige wrote:

Please read carefully, the A7II (which is what the original user) can be read by Lightroom 5.7.1, according to Adobe.

The A7R II (which is not what the original question asked on) requires Lightroom 6.2

If I understand correctly, there are two formats of Raw for the A7II files: apart from the support of 14 and including 14-bit are supported (via a firmware update).

5.7.1 Lightroom can read the Raw files, apart from the support of 14 bits, of the A7II.

14-bit uncompressed Raw support was only added to the A7II with an update of the firmware of Sony in November 2015.

    http://PetaPixel.com/2015/11/04/Sony-A7-II-firmware-update-to-bring-uncompressed-14-bit-RA w-and-best-af.

This update of the firmware can only be read by Lightroom 6.2.

uncompressed 14 bit Raw support is already added to the A7RII in October 2015.

How to export my video uncompressed?

I guess that now you are not close enough to each other, location wise to edit one and same system. That is to say the machine.

This little worry that it suggests a "decompressed Go Pro" file.

For ganeri CC and FX... he actually needs the individual files for the best results and efficiency.

You will have to work on a work/pipeline for this stream.  Maybe a hardrive and courier.

You use the same version of first?

  • I see more option "uncompressed" for video export. Help, please

I am currently using a Mac and create graphics of LED using After Effects CS4.  After an update from my computer, I'm more able to select uncompressed in the video settings, when I'm ready to export (AS AN AVI).  the uncompressed option is in fact not even more there.  I did something wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Yosemite is not on the list of operating systems that CS4 is compatible with the requirements of the system: system requirements | After Effects

I'm surprised CS4 (version 9) same lance on Yosemite!

The oldest version of AE which is officially supported on Yosemite CS6 and it is only when it is updated 11.0.4 (Note: this is more recent than CS4 two versions)

My recommendation is to get your system on the old operating system or upgrade your software in addition to the BONE.

13.1.1 After Effects (later) version is filled with lots of features, you're missing out on CS4. It even comes with cinema 4 D Lite included free!
