DVD Slideshow rendering artifacts

Hello, I just bought elements of Prime Minister to create a few DVD Slide shows for a customer. I turned a real estate project for a client and she wants the images in a slideshow on a DVD that she can show to its customers.

I created the slide show first and it burned on DVD, but there are rendering artifacts and images look terrible, seems as much compression or something. But as image pan and zoom, vertical and horizontal images lines are all distorted and moving. So, what's the secret parameter to render a performance of spaendende of high quality from elements of Prime Minister? Here the companies full images shot with a digital SLR, so quality images are not a problem.

Thanks for your help.

Doug.

Doug,

In fact, the size of the stills is probably the problem, or a large part of it.

This ARTICLE will give you general information and proposals. Any scaling is best done in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, as their scaling algorithms are better than those of pre. When evolve you in an image editing program, I wouldn't NOT re - save in JPEG, but rather the native format of the EPS/PS, which is PSD. This will double if you shot in JPEG in a first time, you don't want no matter what more JPEG compression, you already have.

As Steve, for a SD/DVD project, says the maximum size should be a little more the size of the frame, which will be 720 x 480, if you need pan on a Zoomed image. I take it a little further and will scale all images according to the size of the image and go ONLY slightly larger for specific images that require that the Pan on the Zoomed image - all the rest are to the exact size needed.

Good luck

  • Help burning DVD slideshow.

I use pro, windows XP Edition family with service pack 3. I am trying to create a slideshow with music, but the Director of windows does not burn the CD or DVD. I would like to know if microsoft has a more recent version of the music player that will burn CDs and DVDs, and if so, is it compatible with my operating system. If so, I would like to know where I can download the program. If this is not possible, I would like to know if there are any completely 100% free software that I can download on the web, what can I use to make my project. Any contributions to this issue will be appreciated. Thank you.

No, Microsoft does not work. Google for something that fits your needs.

  • Can I burn a DVD slideshow created in creation of Windows 7 DVD without finalizing the disc to add slideshows later?

I use a DVD + R DL disc, and the slide show takes a small fraction of the available space. But the disc is ejected in the final State, and, when later reinserted to add additional slide shows, the disc is not recognized as recordable media.

I was prior to these links. I'm really interested many slide shows on a large drive, such as DVD + R DL of packaging. I want to play on a Sony DVD player attached to a TV. Also, I want a menu of the watch to appear at startup, which allows the Viewer to choose one to play. Is this possible with DVD Maker? I've seen discussions suggesting that Movie Maker can afford that. However, I can not import files .msdvd and would therefore have to use the .jpg image database and redo all the shows in Movie Maker. Is there an easier way?

    ============================================
Such a great project it is quite possible that you
will have problems of system resources.

As stated earlier... a video DVD must be coded
in one sitting... impossible to add additional files.

That said... Create slideshows in Movie Maker and save
each in a folder on your drive hard in the. Film WMV format.

Once you have all the. Slideshow WMV... How to import them into
DVD Maker (there is a limit of 18 scenes). Each individual. WMV
file must be a scene (chapter) on the DVD.

    Good luck...

Just a thought more... If you had a DVD player which is Xvid
compatible... you can convert finished slideshows to the
. AVI format (encoded in Xvid) and then you could burn a data
DVD with "LOTS" of video clips. Reason to be... Video DVDs are
coded according to duration and DVD data are based on the size of the file.

  • Bought the first 13. Does not burn dvd slideshow created in 12 of the elements.

I created a slide show in 12 items. Recorded as WMV. Tried to burn DVDs. Download the message inviting me to try the first 13 trial. Have already bought 13 first, but which does not recognize the 12 elements.

Tried opening 13 first, import my WMV file. Go to create DVDs. After that it seems to go through the complete combustion, I get a message that says that something is preventing the complete combustion. Provides a link that takes me to a page that is not available. Is there a way to get my 12 items to bind to the first 13? What else can I try?

    susanK

If you have issued your slideshow Organizer items 12 to get a wmv file saved on the hard drive of your computer, you should be

able to import that in first 13 items editor with add Media/files and folders of the editor and edit and export accordingly.

There is no integration between the Publisher of slide show of 12 elements Organizer and first 13 items Organizer 13.

However, you can convert the catalog 12 to 13. But it will take 13 allows you to convert the slideshow in this catalogue in its new format which

is significantly different from what you used in 12.

Have you updated 13 to 13.1 yet. If you have, say the program uses a new feature in 13.1 that leaves you with the .iso image file

If you hit the burn to fail. You can take this file to DVD-VIDEO on DVD .iso image using a free program called ImgBurn.

You can also use burn DVD/record/Publish + share on (4.7 GB) file to download a backup file containing the VIDEO_TS folder that you can

Download DVD-Video on DVD using the ImgBurn program.

  • PE6 how loop dvd slideshow to use in a dvd player?

    I use elements of first

6 and I would like to create a slide show that plays continuously (after the last slide loop) but

I don't know how this can be done.  I know that this can be done using a pdf file, but the pdf file can be viewed on a dvd player.

Help!  I need to get this done slideshow tonight.

    Thank you.

The easiest way to proceed is to use the repeat function of your DVD player set up the loop.

Programming of your DVDs in a loop automatically is much more complicated - at least in Premiere Elements. It is much simpler to use the functions of your disc drive.

  • How can I create a DVD Slideshow (no CD) with PSE8. Is the CD option only?

I have to upgrade to PSE9 for the DVD option for the release of slide show?

No, you cannot create a video dvd with just PSE and PSE 9 is no different from any other version where in this regard. (Adobe wants you to use Premiere Elements). However, if you have a DVD burner, you must have obtained a kind of software with that can make a DVD for you. Create your slideshow, released as WMV, then use other software to burn real video disc.

  • LR2 DVD slideshow

Once my LR2 slideshow is over, I would like to record to a DVD for sharing. The slide show consists of pictures and audio based on iTunes. I wish I could share with family and friends. Is this possible or is a necessary additional software. I use LR2.3 and Leopard 10.5.7. Any info is appreciated pointing especially me to an existing thread. Thanks in advance.

I guess you want it to be a DVD, you can play on a standalone DVD player? If so, this is impossible with Lightroom. It will only export to JPEG or pdf format (which does not include the soundtrack). Those who are not usable for a video DVD. You can simply burn the pdf file on a DATA DVD that can be played in any computer, but you will not get the music. Fortunately, there is a much better free tool for this already on your hard drive. What you need to do is export the images you want in your slide show in JPEG. You can have Lightroom reduce them, but it is not really necessary. Choose sRGB for color space, but who also doesn't matter a lot. Drag the exported in iPhoto images and generate the slide show there. In iPhoto, you can create your slideshow with all the fades, effects and music that you like. Then press "Send to iDVD" in the menu shares and there you have a nicely created slideshow all laid out for you and you can change the menus, titles, themes or add other slideshows or pieces of video. Everything is now ready to burn directly to DVD by pressing the button.

  • Create a slideshow DVD w / Pics included Original

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm having no luck finding an answer.  I want to create a DVD slideshow to play through the TV, but I want to have the original photos in a data folder accessible from the computer on the same disk.  Is this possible with first Elements 7?

    Thank you!

The best way to proceed is to use share/disc to create a DVD - but instead to burn directly to a disc, select the option burn on record, as I show in the chapter on the part of my books.

This will create a VIDEO_TS folder with your DVD files.

Create another folder and move your original photos.

Then, use your DVD burning software (Nero, RecordNow, etc.) to burn these two files on a DVD disc. (Note that Nero requires you to designate the drive as a playable disc, rather than data).

If it is placed in a DVD player, the DVD slideshow will launch. However, if it is placed in a computer, it can be covered and original photos are visible.

As for the red color... x which indicates that your source files have been

It simply records the path. If the files are still available, you can
