DW CC built in gererator of Lorem Ipsum?

I'm looking for some Lorem ipsum for use in DW CC. I know that CC will not accept the extenstion from previous versions, but I need of lorem ipsum and don't want to have to cut and paster of external source.

Easy to DW CC

Go to the section in code view tag where you want the text to genterate.

Type loremXXand press the TAB key.

where XX = number of words that you want generationse.

For example, lorem24 generates 24 words when you press the tab key.

  • When Adobe will give us a text (Lorem Ipsum) model Panel in Illustrator?

    I can't live without the Lorem Ipsum when I use Indesign. It helps a lot to give coherence to design when you are doing your project.

    Unfortunately, we do not have that in Illustrator.

    I think that there are plugins third party provider on this subject, but I think important Adobe offer this free feature in Illustrator. It's absolutely fundamental, and it's a royal pain to have to go to lorem ipsum Web sites, and then copy and paste the text. Running scripts also a royal pain, the right thing is to have a panel I can show and hide, as an option for paragraph text, that allow me to insert the random Lorem Ipsum, also with a few options, like the random CTE, text.

    In addition, adding equivalent to the Lorem Ipsum would be cool, also text free samples, in the public domain. For example, Don Quixote for Spanish, etc.

    I guess asking for a feature of Adobe must be difficult, because it is a huge, but if the design team might have in mind this simple petition, I would be grateful, and I guess that millions of people too.

  • Lorem ipsum is available as a download widget

    Just a suggestion. I am son framing a new site and think it would be useful to have some 'lorem ipsum' in the type menu.

    It's kinda a drag to have to go in Chrome, the copy and paste.

    Most of the widgets have already, but you can ask.

  • Beginner CS5 - looking for placeholder text "Lorem Ipsum" create brochure.

    Hello

    I need to throw it in a text of 'false' I create a model company brochure.

    I googled how to insert Lorem Ipsum - and I read correctly that it is a separate application that I have to install in InDesign?

    I got the last bunch of InDesign CS5.

    Can you please help?

    Thank you

    Jamie

    Finally, save any text you want in a text file called 'substitution.txt' at the same level as the InDesign .exe or .app for custom placeholder via the control.

  • Replace the 100 pages with Lorem Ipsum?

    OK really puzzled

    I have 100 pages in Word of the text, and I need to replace the Lorem Ipsum text.

    Plan was to import text into InDesign, keep the styles, so forth and so

    But how would we go about replacing all the Lorem Ipsum text, while retaining the text, character for character, line for line, Word for Word, style?

    (this plan is to export the text to RTF to word and copy and paste the copy into Word)

    An operation what strange

    You can not easily replace the text character by character. Word by Word, however, was quite fun exercise.

    This script retains the original formatting, but replace the frame selected by your standard Lorem text (threaded) content. As a side effect, all signs of punctuation is also retained - which is caused by the replacement of words objects. Perhaps you meant, maybe it isn't.

    (Save it as "ScrambleTextToLorum.jsx" in your scripts folder; select the first block of text to loremize, double-click the script is running.) Wait a little.)

    if (app.selection.length != 1 || app.selection[0].constructor.name != "TextFrame")
    {
     alert ("Ground. Pull up. Ground. Pull up."); exit(0);
    }
    // Save selection
    targetStory = app.selection[0].parentStory.texts[0];
    // Make a Lorem frame
    loremFrame = app.activeDocument.textFrames.add();
    loremFrame.geometricBounds = [ "0mm","0mm", "200mm", "200mm" ];
    loremFrame.insertionPoints[0].appliedFont = "Times New Roman";
    loremFrame.insertionPoints[0].pointSize = 8;
    loremFrame.contents = TextFrameContents.PLACEHOLDER_TEXT;
    sourceStory = loremFrame.texts[0];
    // Grab its words
    sourceWords = sourceStory.words.everyItem().contents;
    // .. and kill the placeholder
    loremFrame.remove(0);
    // Replace one word at a time. Start at the end.
    sourceWord = 0;
    destWord = 0;
    while (destWord < targetStory.words.length)
    {
     targetStory.words[destWord].contents = sourceWords[sourceWord];
     destWord++;
     sourceWord++;
     if (sourceWord >= sourceWords.length)
      sourceWord = 0;
    }
    alert ("Safe landing. Have a nice day.");

  • InDesign, Import XML, switching to and from possible design multi-column?

    I have a question that may or may not require a script solution. I have a data source external generation text referenced XML file that I will not flow into a book. Normally, the book is a two-column layout, but there are illustrations (and sometimes pieces of explanatory text) which should cover both columns. I've built examples of use of reflow smart text for simple and updated column in multi-column page layout. Using one of these with the active smart text reflow works beautifully.

    Ideally, I would like to a XML tag that says "start spanning two columns now", inserts a large illustration (could also be a piece of text however) and another that says "return to normal 2 columns. I did a number of experiments (all unsuccessful) I can't seem to get a working solution. I really like the XML import, but if this is not possible, I'm willing to look at other approaches.

    Has anyone had a similar problem?

    As a gross illustration...

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, adipiscing elit computer.

    CRAs quis ligula EST. SED dictum erat an EST porta in

    dignissim nisl ultrices. In and convallis elit. Curabitur pretium

    < HYPOTHETICAL_SPAN > magna EU ornare, tellus faucibus total, placerat vitae arcu fringilla

    Nulla non sapien ligula. Vestibule vel mauris and pellentesque erat

    Nunc. Vestibule total ac nulla ornare EU ultricies sapien tincidunt < / HYPOTHETICAL_SPAN >

    so. In metus, id erat auctor gravida dignissim

    eget dignissim erat dictum nisl eleifend porta an EST in

    Harold

    Just to be clear, when you say:

    I have a data source external generation text referenced XML file that I will not flow into a book.

    you mean import XML, not the import of text containing the tag of InDesign, correct?

    Ideally, I would like to a XML tag that says "start spanning two columns now", inserts a large illustration (could also be a piece of text however) and another that says "return to normal 2 columns. I did a number of experiments (all unsuccessful) I can't seem to get a working solution. I really like the XML import, but if this is not possible, I'm willing to look at other approaches.

    Can't you just a tag that maps to a paragraph style that allows to span columns?

  • Div tag is not growing with content... Help please!

    Hello

    First of all, I'm pretty new to this so I'm stoopid, so it is possible that I am.

    I built a page CSS based with DIV tags What I'm trying to achieve is a html body that has a #wrapper centered on the page, then a #header, #nav, #banner, #content and #footer consecutively to the bottom of the page. Then inside I want to place a #leftColumn and a #rightColumn. What I have achieved. I have a problem with is to have the content div expand with the divs two columns it contains. I've included the main.css file I use below as well as the source code for the "content" of the page section. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You should be able to get #content to expand changing overflow: auto; to overflow: hidden; in the style of #content {...}.

    That may seem paradoxical, but overflow: auto; you will get scroll bars, not expansion. He might not even have you that, if you do not have a specified height. Overflow: hidden; should be #content stretch to lock up the sidebar divs.

    I hit an issue that only happens in ie5 and 6, basically repeating images or something like that at the bottom of the divs

    Have you tried to remove the height of 10px and keeping the opened with a non breaking space (as below) OR Insert actually images directly into the themselves rather than background images?

    Not quite sure what's wrong with your code, but theres something in it that is alien to me and I usually have no trouble moving things to render correctly in all browsers, that is, not sure I like the idea of setting a height only 10 px. Divs can have a minimum height required to work in all browsers.

    If you insert images directly into the then most likely you will need to add your css below:

    IMG {}

    display: block;

    }

    This should kill an IE bug which inserts the space between the two images directly where one is on top of the other.

    No decisive position is necessary for the

    containers within the 'left '.
    just follow in the natural flow of the code. Using css redundant attributes the single server to make troubleshooting difficult.

  • Is it possible to edit URL bookmarks directly in large groups?

    I've got around a large amount of bookmarks including changed links because the site that it was changed servers/domains. As is a different URL than is in the bookmarks, Firefox doesn't recognize as the same page. In this case, the identification for each page remains the same; I just need to change the beginnings of each URL - for example, http://www.example.com/Lorem/Ipsum/ID34566 to https://pages.example.com/Lorem/Ipsum/ID34566.

    Is it not possible to go to the file where the list of bookmarks is stored and then just use a "find all" and "replace all" function or a similar way edit bookmarks massively?

    I guess ISPOL talk not in double Favorites, but rather many bookmarks for the same domain and for individual pages in this area.

    Firefox stores the bookmarks (and the history of navigation and downloads) in the places.sqlite file in the profile folder. With Firefox closed, a user could edit this file using a Sqlite Manager - external program or add-on to Firefox, but would require some knowledge of the sqlite query commands and be able to recognize a bookmark of the navigation history. But the last could be solved by deleting the browsing history before starting to change.
    http://www.sqlabs.com/SQLiteManager.php
    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/SQLite-Manager/

    If I wanted to, I export my bookmarks in bookmarks.html format and save this file on my hard drive. Can I open this file in a text or HTML editor and change the URL as needed - using 'find '. Then I would put this file to import into Firefox.
    But before you import it in Firefox, I would delete all of the existing bookmarks in Firefox. HTML files imported into Firefox bookmarks, Add existing bookmarks, not replace them as with JSON backups.

    And these two aforementioned modules would probably choke on a fully duplicated set of bookmarks, depending on how many bookmarks that you have.

  • How to get rid of manual paragraphs spacing between lines

    Hello!

    Long story short, I have a document from page 2000 (300 k + words) that I'm currently formatting and proofreading, it is a very old book that has been digitized and typed upward by a computer.

    To clarify my question:

    There is a problem throughout the whole of the text: rather than use auto-spacing, defined by the margins of the document, there is a new paragraph between each line. It looks like this:

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet,

    195kgs adipiscing elit.

    SED, egestas had metus. DUIs

    fitness, neque nec finished-

    bus placerat, mi risus conv

    Allis metus, hendrerit EU-

    URIs quam non arcu.

    Since volutpat lectus vel

    dictum dignissim elit elit

    justo, EU accumsan fermentum

    SAPIEN and felis Tellus.

    Is it possible to automate the deletion of all of these spaces of paragraph?

    Pages seems to recognize hyphens where the words are divided into two paragraphs and treats these automatically, completing the word, when the paragraph is deleted manually, so I guess that there is a kind of function to do.

    I know there are ways to do this by converting the text in plain text, but it would eliminate all other formatting, whole paragraphs are always separated in the text a bit correctly.

    Is there an online tool or something similar?

    I feel that there must be another way to proceed in the way that entirely manual, which takes a few seconds according to paragraph (71000 of them in the document = about 4 days ago)

    Thanks in advance!

    It is simply the recognition of patterns and then find and replace on them.

    In this case, there is a return after each line, except two, between paragraphs, so search on both and replace those with a distinctive marker for example < r > then find on the single remaining returns and replace those who have a space to speak.

    Then go back and search for the < r > and replace those with a return.

    But you will find there is much more to a text clean only a few returns. There are also spaces around punctuation and common mistakes around the legs, media, etc.

    5 pages is a very bad tool to do this, Pages ' 09 was better, but still not ideal.

    Use a text as LibreOffice [free] or text dedicated as TextSoapcleaners.

  • Break in the tables (German)

    Hello Internet,

    I try to make a word breaking in a table layout. The break in the document settings box is checked. Now, when I double click on the cell to change its content, the text in this cell will be cut. However, as soon as the cell is not enabled, the gap disappears again.

    I use:

    • 5.6.2 pages (2573)
    • OS X Version of El Capitan 10.11.4
    • Language: German
    • Police: Open without

    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Thank you very much!

    Psychonaut salvation,

    Here is a text of nonsense:

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

    195kgs adipiscing elit

    ESET eiusmod tempor incidunt and developed and pain magna aliquam. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud conducted. Gibbed dolor in longer storage ut developed and pain magna aliqua.

    Places in a Pages 5.6.2 table cells:

    System Preferences > keyboard > keyboard Show, Emoji & viewers of symbol in the menu bar

    To see this in your menu bar:

    Choose this menu item (Show Emoji & symbols) to see this (choose punctuation)

    In a table cell, place the cursor where you want a conditional hyphen. In the body of this window (not the large icon on the right), double-click the conditional dash.

    Resize the column to see these hyphens () gentle to do their work.

    And once again, where the soft hyphens are required in a different column width,

    Kind regards

    Ian.

  • Incorrect language when creating photo books

    I use pictures 1.0.1 (215.65.0), on Yosemite 10.10.5.

    When I create a photo book, all the pages with the default text appear in latin/Croatian (according to google).  The language in the system preferences setting is set to English.

    Any suggestions?

    What is the placeholder of the standard Lorem Ipsum?  If so, you just replace your own text.

  • No data for adjustment of Google

    I downloaded Google Fit of Lifelog to go with my SWR30, but I don't get all the data, since I got, under the headings of Pulse and Stress & recovery. All I get under the different categories of stress are the words "Lorem ipsum".

    How can I fix?

    The SWR30 device detects a pulse etc so this option won't work - the device which does the SWR12

  • How to set the text back in webview?

    Hello

    Someone knows how to put the text in full screen according to the 2 screen capture?

    Code

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    Page {
        Container {
            //Todo: fill me with QML
            ScrollView {
                id: scrollView
                scrollViewProperties {
                    scrollMode: ScrollMode.Both
                    minContentScale: 2
                }
                WebView {
                    id: webView_Condiciones
                    url: "local://assets/html/copy_Right.html"
                }
            }
        }
    }

    screenshot 1 (I got the result as below)

    Screen Shot 2 (need to result as below)

    So let me know what I did wrong?

    Hello

    I think your problem is

     minContentScale: 2

    Ask yourself the ScrollView to zoom in on your web pages display... Zoom will make wider and higher...

    If you just want more large print, try something like this:

    import bb.cascades 1.2

    Page {
        Container {
            //Todo: fill me with QML
            ScrollView {
                id: scrollView
                scrollViewProperties {
                    scrollMode: ScrollMode.Both
                }
                WebView {
                    id: webView_Condiciones
                    url: "local:///assets/index.html"
                    settings.defaultFontSize: 32
                }
            }
        }
    }

    With this HTML code:

    Hey There
    • Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing . . . . . . . . . ---8<-- SNIP -->8--
