Dynadock does not work with Vista

Press releases USA Toshiba the Dynadock was WXP and compatible with Vista, but it's NOT.
Nobody knows when it's released software / or ways to get the Dynadock to work with Vista?

Hi Stuart

I put t know how it works in the United States, but here in Europe, according to the specification Dynadock, it only works with Windows XP SP2 home edition. I don't think someone can give you info on support for Vista especially here in the user forum.

Try to learn more, contact your local dealer or partner authorized in your country.

Its not wireless security (I understand that Vista does not support WEP 128 bit). I turned off and it still does.

If the problem obviously lies with Vista and/or the drivers.

    If someone has solved this.

And no - don't tell me to go out and buy a router "Vista compatible".
If Vista does not work with router XP and other operating systems compatible with Vista is wrong.

    Hello

    > Other portable XP connect correctly and this laptop connects fine using no security or WEP or WAP so I boot Linux. If the problem obviously lies with Vista and/or the drivers.
I would say it is not a Vista problem or a Realtek driver problem because I have a Vista and Realtek WLan card and I can connect properly to my router.
In you case, I would say that there is a compatibility problem between the router and the Vista because as you said the laptop can connect properly using Linux.

I have goggled a bit and could solve most of the people who have had this issue, update the firmware on the router s.

Maybe you should try that too.

  • HP4050 does not work with Vista.

I did all the uninstall/install as shown in several places and nothing won't print. I get just "printing error" in the status area.

This worsens the problem as it used to work fine. It got to where I could unplug/plug in the printer so that it and the laptop, or restart the laptop and the dependiing overnight, one of them would solve the problem. Then, it is to reinstall the drivers, and it worked for a while before returning to the steps of the power.

Now, it does not matter. No printing. No "job processing" flashes on the printer, only "printing error" when I opened the Printers folder.  I'm on the good (and default) printer and the correct port. All connections are good and the printer works on an old laptop w / XP and ALLOWS to work on my other laptop, also with Vista. Now it does not work it reliable either.

Using the correct driver for Vista 32-bit, so it isn't.

It is a great printer and buy another isn't on the horizon of affordability.

  • WLAN manager does not work with vista 64

    Hello

Recently I've upgraded to Windows Vista 64 bit because I bought the additional RAM. I downloaded the drivers for my USB wireless adapter (which is a WUSB54GR), but they do not come with Wlan Manager. I tried to install the WiFi Manager since XP drivers, but it won't work.

The reason why I want this to work is that there are several SSID on my network with the same name, and I want to choose the best of them. Vista indicates the name once only and does not automatically select one that suits, and now I have lag spikes in games like World of Warcraft.

A good third work program would also work I guess, or a vista/hotfix patch for it.

Need help please, I searched the internet for this many times with no effect

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. After some research more, I found out it was something else that caused the lagspikes.
Windows Vista checks to see if there is a best available wireless connection every minute or so.

I downloaded a little program called WLAN Optimizer .do, it runs in the background now and my connection works great.

  • Age of Empires II does not work with Vista or Windows 7

I could not get Age of Empires II working on my laptop - first with Vista and now Windows 7.

It installs OK and when you go to launch the small graphics launch box comes up, then the screen becomes phsychedelic before returning to normal and nothing more.

It is a Compaq Presario with a chipset Mobile Intel R45.

    Any advice?

    RusFry,
If you weren't able to get the game to run in that same laptop with Vista or Windows 7, it seems that there is a conflict of material with this game.  I see that this game was for older systems and only supports graphics 800 x 600.  You can turn your the desktop resolution to 800 x 600 with 256 colors, and then run the game.  If this does not help then you may install DirectX 9 and see if that helps. • Toshiba Tempro does not work with Vista 64 bit Ultimate

Why Toshiba Tempro don t works with windows vista 64 bit ultimate mey Satellite A300 - 1 l 4?

Any idea where I can find a solution?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

I m not very well why it doesn't work on Vista Ultimate, but to my knowledge, there are a few Vista Toshiba Utilities and tool that are not fully supported by Ultimate.

But why you use Tempro? This tool reports only if a new driver has been transferred on the Toshiba driver page.
OK, it's interesting to know that a new driver is available, but if your laptop runs without problem I wouldn't update or reinstall anything s!

  • Satellite Pro L10: WLan does not work with Vista

    Hi all

Have tried to get the WIFI adapter works on Vista, have downloaded the latest drivers but still no joy.

I know it works because I have a dual operating system: XP & Vista.

    All ideas,

    Thank you

What do you mean exactly by still no joy? Have you installed the right driver WLan and has been the WLan card recognized in the Device Manager?

I think the laptop is using wireless Mini-PCI Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network card.
In order to check again if a good driver was used.

Please don t be angry with me, but it is a book of 5 years and I m sure that it s not Vista capable of course you can install Vista on this unit but it of not impossible that some devices would not 100% compatible.

  • Wireless does not work with Vista on a Satellite L30-10DS

How do you get the WiFi to work on vista?

    Hello
Your question implies that you couldn t your work wireless home or both.

This way, you first make sure you that if you really have wireless or not. It s not that hard. Just look in the windows Device Manager.
If a wireless card is installed, then give feedback and maybe we'll find a way to connect with something as an access point.

If no, then buy a card and let it install by a qualified technician, you can also apply this technology for the wireless connection. :)

  • Satellite P100 - 400 (PSPA6E): display driver does not work with Vista 64 bit?

    Hello

I have a P100-400 (PSPA6E) Satellite and I just got the new version of Windows Vista x64bits. I tried this version of Vista because this series of laptops in the 64-bit processors. Well, the problem was when I downloaded the drivers to display on the site and when I'am install the installer says I'm not a Windows vista OS.

Well actually these drivers only work for Vista x32bits. And I had the same problem with the audio drivers. If Vista was running really slowly and noiselessly, perfect...

What I am asking, that is, if you realize laptops with 64 bit, why aren't you drivers that work with 64 bit systems...

    Hello

In fact 64-bit Toshiba drivers are not available at this time on the Toshiba page.
I think 64-bit drivers are not available because Toshiba doesn't provide any laptops equipped with 64-bit operating system.

But as far as I know that the new 64-bit drivers should appear both text.
I'm also looking for these drivers because I m an owner of the 64-bit version of Vista.

It seems that we have to wait but I m sure that the drivers will be available.
