  I just installed a Dynadock U10 on my laptop.
  I use XP Pro. I followed the installation procedure and everything works fine with the exepction to connect to the local network that is not even in XP network connection folder.

  The local network works perfectly if I connect the cable to the laptop directly.

  I have a number of Dynadocks U10 and Toshiba Satellite Pro U400 laptops.

  They are used to allow our teachers to move from one room to the other without having to connect and disconnect several cables. We use a vga connection to a projector for the external monitor.
  Everything worked pretty well until we put Win 7 on laptops.

  Now, at random intervals, the external monitor will blink.
  I tried the most up to date drivers and software found elsewhere in these forums.
  If I plug the projector directly into the laptop, the flashing stops.

  Can someone please help avoid losing me my mind completely.

  I think it means that the VGA of Dynadock pilot must be upgraded to Win 7 compatible version.
  There is nothing wrong in using a direct connection to the laptop, so I think there must be a problem with the driver Dynadock.

  There seems to be a conflict between the Dynadock and Apple usb drivers. As soon as I connect my iPhone to the USB port on my laptop or the Dynadock the monitor which is connected to the dynadock constantly turns black with a slow refresh of the content of the screen the mouse is placed on the screen. This happens every few minutes while the iPhone is connected.

  I downloaded the latest drivers and software and currently 5.4 on a computer laptop 64 bit Windows 7. Is that what someone else has similar problems or can anyone suggest a workaround/fix other solution do not connect the phone?

• Satellite Pro L670 - 11 d and Dynadock U10 problem re-docking station

  This my first post on this forum - I hope I have the right category.

  We have a user with a Satellite Pro L670 - 11 d attached to a port replicator Dynadock U10 USB.

  Everything seems fine, except when press us the disconnect button (or select eject Dock) the laptop leaves the great.
  However when we try to anchor (for example after a meeting of bureau) it does not recognize the usb connection and docking station won't. We usually have to restart at this point. We are attentive to reconnect to the same usb port.

  Has anyone seen this problem and know a fix?

  Have you noticed this problem only under this Dynadock U10 or perhaps with the external USB HDD too?
  In my opinion, it sounds a bit like the issue of the BONE and not like the Dynadock question.

  I would recommend this control by using a USB HDD.
  Connect the USB HDD to the USB port as well.
  Then, disconnect the USB HDD and unplug the laptop HARD drive. Reconnect the HARD drive and check if the HARD drive would be connected again.
  If the same thing would happen with HARD drive, you should check the USB port
  Maybe the chipset driver will need to be updated

  But if the HARD drive is raccorderaient ok and if the question does not seem to be using the HARD drive, then, it would be necessary to check the Dynadock maybe reinstall the Dynadock from the software again.

  Have you noticed that using the Dynadock as part of another computer/laptop?
  I asked this because it might be possible that your affected laptop connection settings between the laptop and Dynadock.

  To my knowledge, you can set the Dynadock standby mode but in this case the Dynadock would unplug the computer.
  In Dynadock options (in the task bar, click the Dynadock icon), you can find the Eject option and sleep. This disconnects the Dynadock and set it in standby mode.

  I think you should check the Dynadock with different USB ports.
  Deactivate the energy saving for the USB ports in your Win 7 power management settings.

  In addition, you can update the graphic driver for Dyandock.

• Dynadock U10 - video suddenly stopped working

  I have a computer laptop under Win 7 x 64, connected to a port replicator port Dynadock U10. • External monitor display problems with Dynadock U10 on PC Toshiba laptop Win7

  I just started with my current compnay and they allocated me a new from Toshiba Satallite laptop running with Windows 7 64 - bit operating System.

  They hooked me up a Station of reception Dynadock U10, separate keyboard and a mouse and a monitor external 22 ".
  I experienced a problem of compatibility with some software, but I currently have a major problem with slow internet pages freezing or general display issue when the VGA is connected to the docking station.

  The laptop works fine when the VGA is connected directly to the laptop. I have download the recent software/driver upgrade loaded 18 (TC30322400A) without fixing the problem.

  I also loaded the upgrade diplaylink 5.6.31548.exe, as mentioned in other forums, once again, without success.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  In my opinion you should not update BIOS.

  I just installed my Dynadock U10 on my Tecra M11 (W7 32-bit) and updated with the latest drivers.

  All goes well until I try to use the Nomachine NX software to connect to my Linux desktop computer.
  The NX window crashes after the initial connection is made. And no way to persuade them he will bring back to life.

  The rest of Windows Windows 7 works as usual, but the window just NX show all what is in the buffer of the last window in front of it.

  NX works fine without the Dynadock directly from the laptop.

  All you can do is use Dynadock with newer and newer drivers. If everything works well, you will be lucky, but if there is a problem using the third part request I think that there is nothing but bad luck.
  As far as I know doesn t Toshiba Dynadock test capability with all the software available on the market and, as you can see, everything works fine, except when you use this software NX.

  I'm really curious to know if anyone here uses the same software and Dynadock and can write more about it.

• Portege R600 - BSOD with installed Dynadock U10

  I have a Dynadock U10 (PA3575E-1PRP) connect my laptop R600 (PPR61E-00600CEN) to various USB devices and ethernet, a VGA to VGA monitor cable. All devices and monitor were previously connected to the laptop through its own ports, where everything worked fine. If I disconnect the Dynadock and return to the use of all the ports on board for all devices of same, everything still works fine. But with the Dynadock installed I get frequently stops 'blue screen '. The interval between them is something 10 minutes to 12 hours, but they occur more frequently when there is a high volume of i/o readers connected to the network. (They also occur when the laptop is in sleep mode.) This means that I am not able to complete any analysis antivirus backup full system, and often losing jobs when the system shuts down.

  I unplugged every device on the Dynadock one by one, but the errors continue * _only_ * when the Dynadock itself is connected and * _whenever_ * the Dynadock is connected without worrying which devices are on it. I downloaded the latest Dynadock drivers and utilities on the Toshiba site, but it has not changed the situation. I am running Win XP SP3 with all Microsoft Updates installed and Norton'S. I have no other signs of a virus infection or malware.

  Can anyone suggest how to solve this problem. Is it a hardware problem with the Dynadock? Is there a way to read the dump of the error of the judgment to learn more?

  I agree with Akuma. Please post the exact BSOD code because there are so many codes and with the right code, you can identify what is causing this problem.

  It's really hard to say what causes this problem (without code BSOD) but have you tried with SP2 only? SP3 makes sometimes problems so you should try it with SP2 only.
  In addition, remove the Norton Security software. To be honest I n t have good experience with it and it blocks a lot of files, etc.

  In order to use the Dynadock, you need to install a software and sound of Displaylink.

  Well im using ethernet to connect to internet. The thing is, sometimes it works, sometimes not. There are times when I can connect immediately after that I turned on the laptop, there are moments where the connection becomes available after 10 minutes of operation of the laptop, sometimes it doesn't quite work.
