Dynamic RSS bookmark isn't updated site icons more

Before this update, RSS Live Bookmarks is used to update the links with the site icon (if any) whenever I visited, much as it does with regular bookmarks. Searching for new streams was easier this way.

But since the new version (and I noticed on the Nightly version for some time), I have only a few generic icons that are light gray (not visited) or dark grey (visited) with the launch of the Nasa theme. With the default theme, it's just a yellow icon and a grey one. It is much more difficult to spot I've read and which I did not. Moreover, since the update, extending the feed is MUCH slower. Even in smaller foods as APOD, but especially the great, as the order of the stick.

Is it possible to return it?

It's the kind of behavior of Mozilla that irritates and angers users. Regardless of the improvements that are supposed to come with the update are largely canceled when the things that work is no longer working. Now, users have to hunt around to find a solution. Not nice.

    Hello

You try to go actually on here Windows Updates site?

This site does not work for Vista. You must use the Windows built-in to Vista updates or download them

Absolutely do not use the default Administrator account. Just make a new Admin account to
use and leave the other to test and difficulty. In fact, make an Admin NOW account to use to test and fix
According to the needs. If your sole administrator corrupts you will have a big headache.

  • How to use Windows 7 Theme - Bing Dynamic (RSS Theme)

Original title: Windows 7 theme issue - Bing Dynamic (RSS Theme)

I used a lot of new themes Windows 7 without problem, but I can't get the RSS theme called Bing Dynamic to work. When I've download it and open it, everything that is in the theme is the theme of the vacuum (without images), so he leaves my black desktop. I thought he might start work after waiting a minute so he could upload an image, but it has been more than 30 minutes and still no picture. It doesn't have the RSS symbol on the theme in my list as it does on the computer of my friend (which he doesn't), but for the photo album, it has the right location: a web address for a theme server. How to operate?

    Hi geobrad7,

Where you downloaded the theme of?

Please follow these instructions to get the theme to work.

    a. to use this theme, download and double click the download here link: fresh paint, updated automatically

    b. click on save file.

    c. a window will appear asking to subscribe to the news FEED. Simply click download attachments and wait themes to download for your system.

    d. visit Server theme page to view and download these backgrounds.  http://themeserver.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?p=Bing&c=desktop&m=en-us

Unlike other packages thematic you cannot decompress it to extract the images, because it's a theme that downloads images on your PC of RSS. In addition, since it is a background process, it will take a long time to upload photos high resolution within the feed.

    e. wait a while until the theme downloads images one after the other on your computer. So far, you will see a black background on your desktop.

    f. once the pictures are downloaded, theme does not automatically update the queue of new photos in the slideshow. Therefore, log out of the computer and the connection back to check.

I get 'icons and text' or 'text' but 'icons' just not displayed. You say that the default should be icons only, but this is not the case. What is a programming problem?

For me it works on items added to the toolbars, but not on the bookmarks themselves, that display the bookmarks toolbar. Bookmarks always appear as an icon at least a portion of any text.

Having said that there is a work around. If you right-click on a bookmark, then you are able to change the name of the bookmark. If you remove all the name then you have only an icon on the left to view.

    Does as a solution.
