Dynamic types - new types not reflected on vRO

I created a Namespace, and a new type. Then I delete the type and create a new.

But now, when I created a new workflow, and then find the appropriate type, Orchestrator shows me only the first type (which I deleted it) and not the other.

Is there any kind of "cool" I do to reflect the changes?

Thank you

D.

I found the answer right after the post of the message. I just need to close the client and open again.

Sorry!

  • The dynamic Types shows not all objects in the inventory

    Hello

    I thought I'd have a look at the new feature of dynamic Types in vCO 5.5.1 after falling on this tutorial: tutorial dynamic Types: set up your own Twitter plugin without any script, however - I ran into a bit of a problem.

    So I downloaded the plugin generator of dynamic Types package and run the creating a new plug-in (namespace and corresponding REST host) -it went very well and created the namespace and the REST host as planned.  I then ran the create a new type of plugin and followed through the forms of user interaction and validated all of the received data - it also has been correctly performed.  My only problem is, no instance of the type created is displayed in the inventory - and there are 100% at least of 4 objects returned by our REST API.  When I manually run the COE-> plug-in-> plugin generator dynamic Types - methods - > FindAll I see in the newspapers that it deploys the correct objects with the correct id/name - why these objects are not displayed workflow inventory?

    So this package that I thought I would use the provided standard workflow with dynamic Types plugin, so I added names/type space and automatically generated stubs of workflow for the type.  Then I went into each of these heels of workflow and filled in the script of "To-do" with the code to set the appropriate output, for example the workflow xxx.xxx find all uses the host REMAINS appropriate for an array of objects API JSON, and then iterates through these objects and calls the method DynamicTypesManager.makeObject () , before finally pushing them into the output array.  However, this does not show all inventory items is.

    In both cases I rebooted namespace of the inventory several times and nothing.  It seems that the DynamicTypesManager.makeObject () merely create the object in the local scope that I can see to create types of objects/correct data using System.debug, yet they do not arise outside the workflow and in token of workflow attributes, they remain unset.

    There is something really obvious that I'm missing? / someone at - it suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

    James

    Please use updated Plug-in dynamic types here: version Technical preview of the plugin dynamic Types

  • Custom resource does not synchronize with equalize the dynamic Types

    Hi all

    Env: VCAC 6.2

    VCO: 5.5.2

    A custom resource is created based on the dynamic type in VCO. While some changes were made to DyanmicType - added a few attributes. When this custom resource is changed it shows no new attributes in the fields section. I have tried to remove/add endpoint external VCO, delete/recreate the resource custom, rebooted vcac device.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you

    tried to add a new DynamicType in VCO, hoping that this will force to refresh the cache. It seems that it worked. New fields are emerging.

  • the dynamic types are not picked up by - ("com.vmware.library.vcaccafe.asd.customresources") .getAvailableInventoryTypes

    Try to get our host vCAC recognize/import the type Dynamics/object classes and create custom resources. The call to action 'createCustomResourceFromInventoryType '. The inventory of the available dynamic types is not returned. As vCO using test research of the api; I see the DynamicTypes under the namespace created for them. Of course, they exist in the inventory of vco under dynamic types. Test the code below:

    type host = vCACCAFE:VCACHost

    var inventoryTypes = System.getModule("com.vmware.library.vcaccafe.asd.customresources").getAvailableInventoryTypes (host);

    for each (var inventoryType in inventoryTypes)

    {

    If (inventoryType.GetName (). IndexOf ('case'). = -1)

    System.log (inventoryType.GetName ());

    }

    Basically just get returned undefined. It doesn't seem like a problem of vCO. It seems that just vCAC is unable to recognize the dynamic types.

    Have had problems with vCAC and DT vCO plugins in the past and have tried several permutations of plugin removal/relocation, (KB2003386) including the file, restart the server and delete Configurator package & dar and then reload. These versions using:

    DynamicTypes 1.0.0.1951696

    vCAC 6.1.0.2073620

    vCAC Infra 6.1.0.2040915

    something stupid in the end... Turns out be the default vCO server which is the embedded server vCO in vCAC. Replace that in the Red hight of the vCO uses the vCAC org - and it's good.

  • Get and Set of dynamic Type via the Script output

    I am running vRO 6.0.1. I built a dynamic type to Veeam. I can see the items in the inventory and can select them as attributes in workflows. I'm looking to get the dynamic Type via a script object and set it as a variable in the script output, but its does not work. I created the dynamic type using the type dynamic plug-in generator v2.

    I have 'Veeam' namespace with types:

    VeeamHost

    jobFolder

    job

    I put an output with the 'DynamicTypes:Veeam.job' type attribute and the name jobOut

    My script is just:

    jobOut = Server.findForType ('DynamicTypes:Veeam.job' '29714267-f517-4f76-a621-902b3e789772/urn:veeam:Job:26eddcda-ea52-469b-b4c9-0b80fec098ae');

    System.log ("Job found:" + jobOut "');

    After the execution of the jobOut variable is empty. In the newspapers, I see:

    Found job: DynamicWrapper (Instance): [DynamicTypesDynamicObject]-[class com.vmware.o11n.plugin.dynamictypes.model.DynamicObject] - VALUE: dynobj: [__ns:Veeam __id:29714267-f517-4f76-a621-902b3e789772/urn:veeam:Job:26eddcda-ea52-469b-b4c9-0b80fec098ae __tp:DynamicTypes:Veeam.job]

    Does anyone have an idea of how complete the release of DynamicTypes:Veeam.job with the actual work of veeam I got via the script?

    Could check you what happens if you replace the line

    jobOut = Server.findForType("DynamicTypes:Veeam.job","29714267-f517-4f76-a621-902b3e789772/urn:veeam:Job:26eddcda-ea52-469b-b4c9-0b80fec098ae");

    with

    jobOut is DynamicTypesManager.getObject ("Veeam", "task", "29714267-f517-4f76-a621-902b3e789772/urn:veeam:Job:26eddcda-ea52-469b-b4c9-0b80fec098ae");.

  • The dynamic Types and Inventory Item Grouping

    Hello

    I'm provisioning different types of objects using dynamic Types and vCAC 6.1. In the tab "Items" vCAC, all objects of type dynamic are grouped under a kind of left, "Dynamic Types".

    For an example, I'm provisioning two dynamic types:

    -Volumes of block Vipr

    -View horizon 6 workstations

    If I set one of each of these types, they are both grouped under "Dynamic Types" in the agenda of the inventory tab. Is it possible to have all of these types under different groups? So, the volumes of vipr go "block Volumes; and work stations go under 'VDI Desktops'?

    I have attached a screenshot, and you can see that the volume 'Test vCO DT' block and the Office of vdi "Win7vCAC-v012" are both under the group "Dynamic Types" on the left. I want to separate these is easier for a user to view their items commissioned by type.

    I have custom resources defined for each of these dynamic types, but it still doesn't seem properly the group.

    Thank you

    Well, for someone who wants to know... you can do this via the DB unit.

    You need to add a new type of parent to the cat_resourcetype table, and then associate your custom and dynamic type in this same table with the parent in the parent_id field.

  • Dynamic types

    Hello

    Anyone who has used the dynamic Types yet?  There the howtos or documentation can someone tell me?  I searched but did not find anything.

    Thank you

    Joe

    Hi Joe

    The DynamicTypes recently released in vCO 5.5.1 plug-in is a construction experimental and quite unstable. We are developing an example quite large and will take some articles/tutorials blog around him in the next few weeks/months.

  • How to type notes or compose mail with 5s iPhone / iOS 9.0?

    Hi, I use iPhone 5s, and before that I have upgraded to iOS 9.0 there used a microphone next to the space bar button and I can talk to type notes, e-mail, etc. But now I can't find the little microphone, I tried to 'settings' and I tried google / Youtube... Help, please...

    "Everything in the settings" is not very useful to tell us what made you try. You enable dictation in settings > General > keyboard > turn on dictation. Is this one of the things you've done? You have an active data connection? By chance, are using a third-party keyboard? If so, try to switch to the installed keyboard.

    My advice is: read the documentation to understand works XMLTable:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/database/121/ADXDB/xdb_xquery.htm#ADXDB5097

    You will also need to read a few tutorials XPath/XQuery generalist.

    The error comes because you try to project "stored" in a single column data because the main manifestation of XQuery is wrong.

    The main manifestation of XQuery (noted "XQuery_string" in the doc) is there to define the line template. These data 'line' are then cut into separate relational columns according to what is specified in the clause of COLUMNS:

    SQL> SELECT a.*
      2  FROM invoicexml_col

  • Compiled CHM file does not reflect the name of the new project

    I have read many responses of experts to positions and have found them extremely useful is. However, I have not seen one that solves my problem.

    I have the HTML HR RH8 Version. I renamed a project through 1) file - rename project and 2) Single Source Layouts - main Layout - Properties - output folder and file name.

    Two problems are: 1) the name of the project file still reflects the old name of project and 2) the CHM file still reflects the old name of the project.

    Therefore, the output help the user displays a still the former name of the project in the title bar.

    Generated files like the RoboHelpHTML project file have been changed for the new name of the project, just like RENAME the PROJECTS using says it should. However, the CHM file does not reflect the new name of the project as it says it should.

    (1) can I change the name of the folder created when I compiled the help by exact name file?

    (2) can I change the FILE name in the window SELECT OUTPUT FOLDER AND FILE name?

    (3) I can / should I rename the names of table of contents and Index of the old project name for the new name of the project? (Help says changing the project name does not change these file names and he didn't.)

    None of these measures will correct the problem? I appreciate any help you can give.

    Welcome to our community

    Try file > project settings.

    And if that fails, try the pod project configuration, windows and change the caption of the window.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Hard drive is not reflected in the list of disks

    Device Manager recognizes a disk but the disk management does not show in the list of disks (affected/not allocated).  You want to set up and assign a drive letter.   Thank you.   Russ

    < original="" title:="" disk="" management="">

    Hello Russell,

    Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

    With the publication of the description, I understand that the hard drive is not reflected in the list of disks on your Windows 7 operating system. I will certainly help you get this problem.

    This problem can occur because of incorrect settings. In order to solve the problem, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if this is useful:

    Method 1: Troubleshooting hardware and devices

    Integrated the hardware and devices troubleshooter can automatically detect and fix most of the incorrect settings and errors that could cause problems with the equipment. I suggest you run the troubleshooter to check if there is no problem with the graphics card. See albums as follows:

    1. open Control Panel

    2. click Troubleshooting and select the option to display all on the left pane.

    3. click Troubleshooting of hardware and devices and follow the prompts.

    Try Method 2, if the problem persists

    Method 2: Make sure that the drive is enabled

    Follow the below mentioned steps to make sure that the drive is enabled:

    1. click on start and type device manager in the search box

    2. click on Device Manager in the control panel list

    3 locate the drives item in the list, and then click the small arrow to the right to expand the list of readers

    If a disk is disabled you will see an icon with an arrow pointing down on the icon of the hard disk

    If you see an icon with an arrow pointing down on the hard drive icon, double-click the icon and click on the button Activate peripheral

    4 then click on activate a device dialog box, click Next, and then click on finish

    5. click Close, and then close the Device Manager window

    Note: If you do not see your hard drive in the listed readers, the player is not detected by Windows.

    Note: If you receive an error message when the hard disk is activated, you can have a bad hard drive.

    Hope the helps of information. Let us know if you need help with Windows related issues. We will be happy to help you.

  • Get-vmhost does not reflect the number of correct hosts on a few scenarios

    Hello members of the community.

    When I try to use the cmdlet get-vmhost against a cluster that has one or no hosts in there, I don't get the number of correct hosts. Here are some lines for this information.

    foreach ($objDataCenter to $objColDataCenters)
    {
    $objColClusters = get-Cluster-location $objDataCenter

    foreach ($objcluster to $objColClusters)
    {
    $Details = $Null
    $objClusterBaseRP = $objHosts = $objDataStores = $objVMs = $Null
    $intNUmDatastores = $intNumHostCPUs = $intTotCPUMhz = $intTotUsageCPUMhz = 0
    $intTotMemMB = $intTotUsageMemMB = 0
    $CPUStat = $CPUStatMax = $MemoryStat = $MemoryStatMax = 0
    $intTotMemGB = $intUsageGB = $intMemResGB = $intMemLmtGB = 0
    $inttOTDiskCapacityMB = $intTotDiskFreeMB = $intTotDSCapacityGB = $intTotDSFreeGB = 0
    $intTotVMMemGB = $intTotVMCPUMhz = $intNumVMCpus = $intTotVMMemMB = 0
    $intTotVMProvisionedSpaceGB = $intTotVMUsedSpaceGB = 0

    $objHosts = get-vmHost-location $objcluster

    $objHosts.Count

    }

    }

    code above produce white for clusters that has one host for all other groupings that has 2 or several hosts results are correct. I know that there is no point of having a single node cluster or not, but the result does not reflect his decent stats.

    In the same way under lines also produce incorrect information to the cluster that has no HOST or a single HOST that is in maintenance mode and has no inside VMs

    $objVMs = get-VM-location $objCluster

    $objVMs | %{
    $intNumVMCpus += $_. NumCpu
    $intTotVMMemMB += $_. MemoryMB
    $intTotVMProvisionedSpaceGB += $_. ProvisionedSpaceGB
    $intTotVMUsedSpaceGB += $_.usedSpaceGB

    }

    When I print the values of all the variables above, it should report 0 instead I have the chance to see some numbers. Please note I have explicitly assign values $null to all objects and 0 in all other variables at the beginning of the loop for clusters.

    Any help to solve this is greatly appreciated - thanks

    Kind regards, Philippe

    Hello, Ramkrish-

    Welcome to the communities.

    For the first part, the number of hosts in a cluster with zero (0) or one 1 host - there are a number of things happening there.

    When the Get-VMHost call returns only one host, and you then try to access to the. Property of the count of $objHosts, you try to access this property on an object VMHost, not an array of length 1 with a VMHost inside.  And, since the VMHost object has no property '. " Count' you get a return of the 'white' or null.

    And when Get-VMHost will return no host, and you are trying to access. Count on $objHosts, you effectively type '$null. "Count", since $objHosts - eq $null at that time.

    Two ways to handle these cases would be to use the Measure-Object cmdlet or explicitly to a table, even if zero or one VMHosts are returned.  As:

    ## using Measure-Object$objHosts = Get-VMHost -Location $objcluster($objHosts | Measure-Object).Count    ## correctly returns 0 or 1 (or greater)...## or## forcing an array, even if 0 or 1 items returned$objHosts = @(Get-VMHost -Location $objcluster)$objHosts.Count        ## correctly returns 0 or 1 (or greater)...

    Regarding the behavior you're seeing with the statement Foreach-Object with $objVMs, I suspect that the behavior of the Foreach-Object statement when you're running an empyt null him is at stake here.  In other words, while you can imagine "$arrEmptyArray | % {'Hello'}' to produce anything, happening actually by an interation of the loop (really - try - the).  So to avoid this, you can delete the unnecessary part that stores the output of Get - VM in the variable "$objVMs" and combine the lines to channel the output from Get - VM directly to the Foreach-Object statement, as:

    Get-VM -Location $objCluster | %{    $intNumVMCpus += $_.NumCpu    $intTotVMMemMB += $_.MemoryMB    $intTotVMProvisionedSpaceGB += $_.ProvisionedSpaceGB    $intTotVMUsedSpaceGB += $_.usedSpaceGB}

    By the way: while we're updating this code a little, another way that you could get these totals is again using the Measure-Object cmdlet, this time with the parameter - sum, as:

    Get-VM -Location $objCluster | Measure-Object -Sum -Property NumCpu, MemoryMB, ProvisionedSpaceGB, usedSpaceGB

    Much more compact and allows just of PowerShell do the work.  Although you then maintain the return of the object of measures, depending on the situation, it is quite practical.

    How about that?

  • Flash Player update does not reflect in complementary or plug-in modules Check Manager

    The Add-ons Manager shows that I have Flash Player version 11.3.300.265. Plug-ins control reveals there is an update, and I downloaded and installed Flash Player version 11.3.300.268. Six times! Each time, installation shows as successful on the Adobe site, but FF14 does not reflect the new version, and checking the plug-in continues to insist that the version is outdated.

    I had no problem it is updated to the latest version of Flash Player in Internet Explorer (8). But FF gives me once more wrong with this.

    In addition, the Add-ons Manager shows a version of Flash 9.0.45.0, updated February 20, 2007. There is a big red warning as it is obsolete. This is in addition to Shockwave Flash (the correct one) and Shockwave for Director (which is common). It has been like this for awhile and I disabled the ancient version of Flash and it does not affect the performance FF or Flashplayer.

    I tried to delete my database of plugins, but I just get all the information even when it is in reconstruction. Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.

    You can have several Flash dll in your Flash file, or possibly in other places. Please see this thread for troubleshooting suggestions: flash works fine in firefox 14 but I can not update. Can track you?
