  • Excellent signal, but cannot connect to the wireless network

XP Pro Client has been connected to the area by cable network, but now we need to connect in wireless. Card of TrendNet USB Wireless-N, no problems. The light is on the card, and the network is visible with a signal strong. When I try to connect, I get the message that it cannot connect, and the network may be out of reach. Sometimes, I get a balloon indicating that one or several wireless networks have been detected, but when I then try to connect, I get the same message. The PC is about 10 feet below the access point, with only a counter between the two. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried to update the driver, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help - problem was solved using the TrendNet utility to connect and add the key instead of using the Windows utility.

Right now your nat 0 (NAT exemption) follows the access list:

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

Traffic back from your server to 192.168.0.4 in the pool of VPN (192.168.0.20 - 50) not correspond to this access list and thus be NATted. The TCP connection will not develop due to the failure of the Reverse Path Forwarding (RPF) - traffic is asymmetric NATted.

Then try to add an entry to the list of access as:

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0

It's a bit paradoxical but necessary that your VPN pool is cut out in your interior space network. You could also do like André offers below and use a separate network, but you would still have to add an access list entry to exempt outgoing NAT traffic.

  • Wireless network adapter cannot connect to the wireless network

When I start my PC HP TouchSmart it does not recognize my wireless network.  It says wireless network adapter cannot connect to the wireless network and the details said network adapter "Local network connection * 16 ' does not work properly. The strange thing is that if I leave my computer for a few minutes, then restart it twice, it recognizes the network and starts working. Frustrating is that I have to do this everytime I turn on my computer.  It takes at least 10 minutes of starting and restarting my computer before it will recognize my wireless network.   Any help?

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your router > make sure you have the latest Firmware in Vista for it.

  • HP Envy 4500: Printer says it has solid network connection, but cannot connect to the internet

So I have not been able to use my printer wireless lately, so I decided to check if it was connected to my wireless network. It is; I checked, re-connected and checked several times. So I decided to reactivate my web services. I have them turned off, and now whenever I press the button on the printer ePrint, it says connection for a really long time and then displays the message in the sense of "the printer cannot connect to the server. Check the internet connection and proxy settings.

I have re-connected the printer to my wireless network, I checked that if I use a proxy server (I'm not), I used the HP print and Scan Doctor - just, it won't just matter what I do.

All I can think about is the fact that I have recently purchsed a new router, but says that its connected which is what really stem me.

This printer makes me crazy - please help

    Hi @mastersword64,

    Welcome to the HP community!

I hope you have a pleasant experience with us.

I want to help you with the connection error, you get on your e-all-in-one of HP ENVY 4500 printer when you try to enable web services.

Here are some steps, I suggest trying to get your web services up and running it again:

    Network Power Reset:

We'll leave the router and unplug the power cable (NOTE: do not reset the router.), and then do the same with the printer and shut down the computer. After a minute, plug in the router, wait to fully turn on, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light become solid. Once the router and the printer are on, go ahead and re - turn on the computer. This will refresh the network connection.

Restore the default settings of the network and reconnect:

    1. on the front panel of the printer, press your up wireless icon

    2. Select settings.

    3. Select restore default network settings.

    4 turn on your printer.

    5. once it is initialized to save, press the wireless icon again.

    6. Select settings.

    7. Select Wireless Assistant , and then follow the prompts to enter the details of your wireless network.

    8. try to activate the web services again.

Configure a manual DNS for your printer:

1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser on your computer.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select network address (IP)

    6. Select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

    7. Select apply. You can get a warning simply select OK.

Please reply to let me know if these steps resolve your issue.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite Pro A200 cannot connect to the wireless network

    Hello

I have a Satellite Pro A200 and Tuesday night I was able to connect to a wireless network. I received an update, rebooted and now it doesn t seem to work.

I can see the wireless networks available via the Toshiba Radar but cannot connect to my usual wireless network.
Also, the wireless network icon disappeared from my system tray and if I go to Control Panel/network connections, I can't even view available networks because there is no option to do so.

    Any ideas?
    the FN/F8 will work?
    Help! Please, I beg you!

Have you tried using System Restore and restore the operating system on time earlier?
Maybe this will remove the update installed, and you can again use the WLAN.

    Check it out.

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they

  • Windows cannot connect to the home network

    Hello

My laptop can't connect to my home network. It can detect the network, but whenever I try to connect to it, it said "Windows could not connect to the (network).

My other devices (iPad, mobile phone) can connect to him, so I doubt that it is a problem of modem?

I have connected my laptop to the modem directly via an ethernet cable and it works. What is a network driver problem? Because I tried to update the driver, but they said that they are updated to the latest already.

    Someone help me please.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you are unable to connect to the network via modem, but thread and I'll be happy to answer your query. Let me ask you;

    1. How you did update the network driver?
    2. When was the last time you were able to connect to the wireless network?
    3. Remember to no particular change in the computer before the show?
    4. What is the brand and model of the computer?

Since you are able to connect to the network using the modem, it could be because of the card network is outdated or corrupted. I would recommend that you try the methods below and check.

Method 1: Run the network troubleshooter

Refer to the article below to run the network troubleshooter

Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7

Method 2: Update the NIC manufacturer support Web site

I suggest you to visit the website of the manufacturer of the computer support and install the latest network adapter on Windows 7 Web site and check.

Restart the computer and then try to connect to the network after you have installed the latest driver.

  • NB200 can connect to wireless networks, but cannot connect to the internet

I could connect my Win XP netbook to my network wireless secured to the House, other networks and public networks such as the library and McDonald's. This week, I am away from home and discovered that while I can still connect to a number of different wireless networks, I can't connect to the internet with Internet Explorer.

I had this problem once before and fixed by reinstalling Windows XP and all my other software. I have no idea why it happened again. I'm hoping for a less radical solution to the problem... ?

    Hello

You can try to renew the IP address.
Got to RUN and type CMD.
This would start the console (DOS window)

Here, you use the command: ipconfig / renew

It s also advised to update the Wlan driver. I've noticed some problems with older drivers for Wlan
Here you can get the most recent:

  • HP6700 on (blue) antenna wifi but cannot connect to the network

HP6700 was working, now no airprint.  In settings, it says unable to connect to the internet.   I reinstalled wifi using WPS and have a blue light on the antenna.  On Ipad, it says printer is in "idle" mode.  How can he wake up?

Printer files network      It is a solution copied from a previous post of Provost.

    First do the following:

    1. Print a printer wireless network Test report
    2. Print a Page of Setup network printer

    Possible solutions:

    • Move the printer to be closer to the router if the wireless network Test report indicates the intensity of the signal is "Very low" or "Low".
    • Move the printer away from the router if currently less than 1 m (3 ft.).
    • Look at the last page of the Network Configuration Page. Near wireless networks appears along with the channels they use. Together, the channel of your router to channel 1, 6 or 11 according to the proximity of other channels are and how many networks use each channel. Having other channels of network near your (less than 5 channels) is not good. Using a channel that is heavily used by other networks is also not good. Do not use the setting "Auto" from the channel on the router.
    • Change the width of your router to 20 MHz channel (or 54 Mbit/s). Do not use 40 MHz (or 300Mbps) parameters or 20/40 MHz (Auto).
    • If the wireless network Test report indicates 'more than a wireless router was found which corresponds to your wireless network (SSID)... name ', try changing the name of your network in your router to something unique.

Note: you will need to reconnect all the wireless devices that connect to your network using the new network name.

    • Make sure that the "Auto off" function of the printer is disabled. If this feature is enabled, the printer turns OFF after a period of inactivity.
    • If you use an Extender 'Wireless' to extend the wireless signal, try turning it off to see if the problem goes away.
    • If you still have questions, set a static IP address on the printer. This can be done using the Home Page (EWS of the printer) or from the Panel on many models of printer printers. Several models of printers have a feature 'suggests the IP address. Use this feature if you are not sure what setting to use IP address.

Note: you may need to use the "" Update IP address"utility provided by the printer software to update the software with the new IP address.

Please let me know if it helps.

  • Found ENET-9481, but cannot connect to the IP WHEREAS address

I have a NI ENET-9481 device at a remote site that I can't seem to connect to the MAX.  There was previously an another ENET-9481 operational it for several months before she has apparently failed.

The new device has been updated with the IP 192.168.0.5 before it was delivered on the remote, and then just plugged site as a replacement for an existing ENET-9481, who did not.

The device showed initially as disconnected, even if the device information appeared.  After trying to re-connect, I changed the last byte of the address at 55, Max and MAX reported that he could not access the device.  It seemed reasonable that it was not plugged into it.

Then I deleted the device and attempted to add again by searching for new devices on the network, reasoning that the device in MAX could be a "ghost" of the previous module ENET. MAX found the device, not in the right IP (192.168.0.5), but the address has changed (192.168.0.55), although MAX said that it was not connected and that he could not communicate with the device.  The device was found, he could not be connected to.  I removed and added the device a couple of times, MAX restart on the off chance that it might be useful

    I then removed database MAX in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\MAX according to this article: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/BECA7EF547AE755386256CC600789C8B?OpenDocument

After the machine restarts, I still get the same result.

I tried ping 192.168.0.5, and I get a response.  I have also managed telneted to port 80 at this address and tried to GET index.html.  This value returned an error by 'Mbedthis-Appweb/2.4.0' page, so assume that means, it's the ENET-9481 module and not a PC Windows, crouched on his IP address.

I tried to ping 192.168.0.55 too but I get no response, so I guess it's not really peripheral to this address.

For the benefit of anyone who stumbles across this point-, the problem seems to have resolved itself.  the power of the ENET-9481 has been recycled and he came to work, with the IP address has changed (192.168.0.55)

  • Acquire the msg network but cannot connect to the internet?

I Tower IBM 'Think pad' and when I try to connect to the internet, it is said ' acquisition of network and it connects don't not in the network, the bars keep fluctuating between 2-4 bar, but still won't connect, a 'fix' I tried it same thing... will to "acquire the network but does not connect."

What seems to be the problem, what do you suggest to please. It was working fine until last night.

Have you tried restarting your wireless router? It off for a few minutes, then turn on and wait a few minutes and then restart your computer.

    I hope this helps.
